There's a blonde cashier at the self checkout that wears glasses that is truly the highlight of my visit everytime! She always has a smile, she's always pep talking her co workers and is over all so beyond helpful! I don't know her name, but I hope she gets all the recognition she deserves! read more

Disgusting! I have lived on the eastside for over a decade, and I`m constantly disappointed in the larger grocery store chains` produce in this area. There are two major offenders, and Kroger is one of them - big time! It`s ridiculous that I have to go to a produce market, in order to get fruit and vegetables that are not wilted, moldy, squish, wrinkled, etc. I don`t know whether their issue is a matter of poor purchasing, food storage, lack-of-turnover, or something else. I can tell you that the produce markets that I favor, have personnel going through the bins on a regular basis, discarding items that are in WAY better shape than what I typically see on the shelves at my local Kroger location - that is, if you don`t visit one of their "superstores." Even then, it`s a crapshoot. I can buy fruit from a produce market (one of many in the area) and most items will last a few weeks and NOT be moldy or rotten - this means that the fruit and vegetables that they are trying to push off on their customers is weeks old or more! Try to buy a grapefruit or oranges from then... good luck finding any that are anywhere closet to being fresh. They are all lumps of mush - sickening! The pics that I`ll be attaching were taken today at the Hoover store in Warren. I wish that I could say this was atypical... I have written them regarding their poor quality, but if falls on deaf ears, so maybe this review will get their attention. read more

Worst Kroger around!!! I've continued to go back for some reason.There is no "quick in and out" here be prepared to wait forever and bag your own groceries. No matter the time of day there are hardly any registers open. Save yourself the time/headache and go to Meijer down the road. read more

Mediocre Kroger. The parking lot is small and fills up quick. It's in a shopping center so there's quite a bit of traffic. The store was reasonable clean and had a good stock of merchandise. Nothing special but wouldn't say it was a bad store. read more

Decent Kroger, clean and stocked shelves. Meat area seems kind of small and at times running low on certain products, but it's getting better. One thing about this store is that it seems like it is ALWAYS busy. To the point I sometimes feel exhausted by the time I leave. It's gotten to the point where I do my shopping at 10pm on a Saturday night if I can because it's a little better. I came in yesterday and my cart was so heavy as I pushed it to my cart. A young man by the name of lemarko saw me, walk over pushed it to my car and loaded my car. Offered a tip he refused and waved me away. I shop here all the time and no one as every helped me to my car. read more

6:00 pm, people stopping on way home for groceries. 4 self scans out of 12 were open and only one regular register. They finally opened the other 6 self scans and another regular register. By this time the lines were to the back of the store. Only went because I have Kroger coupons. I am now mostly shopping at Meijer. read more

In general, I like Kroger. Seemingly, this particular Kroger is in an ideal location as it is right off of I-696. However, I am not partial to this store. I find the store layout confusing. This particular Kroger is smaller than other locations. The ends of the aisles are tight. It can be frustrating maneuvering around the employees who are restocking the shelves. Their carts take up the limited aisle space and tend to block the paths of the shoppers. Like the store, the parking lot is very tight. To make matters worse, the lot is shared with other businesses in the strip mall. The parking lot is always very busy to the point of being dangerous. I tend to find the shelf stockers engaging in a great deal of banter. I have overheard many a conversation about who is filing grievances while I am trying to wiggle my buggy around their carts. Ideally, I wish they would spend more time collecting baskets from the parking lot. The cashiers on the other hand tend to be very friendly. They and the baggers always work at a rapid pace. read more

I re-read this review and decided that it needed an edit, per the parking lot. It is the traffic that is horrifying. There is no crime to speak of that I have seen. The parking spaces are all squeejawed and the stop signs may well be changed to yield. Maybe I will design the ideal parking lot for this Kroger and thus resume shopping there. This Kroger is pretty standard as far as Kroger goes. The parking lot is kind of small but I can usually find a spot. The layout inside is kind of weird to me but I'm used to the Hazel Park store. The employees are really friendly and helpful. The store is generally clean and stocked. read more

This Kroger is like any other Kroger. I only go here once in a while when I need to pick up something for Church up the road. One thing that I hate about this Kroger is the parking lot. The entire parking lot for the whole strip is awful. read more

Been shopping here for years! I love it. Great prices. Clean store. Good customer service. I will say that they seem understaffed. Wanda and Sharron are great, I love them! I really like Justina too! i was shopping at this kroger as I was in town for the monster truck ralley. Some employee came up to me took my hotdog buns out my cart and asked me If i wanted to see this go into the fan. I was confused and politely refused but the employee insisted. He took me to the back room and proceeded to throw some hotdog buns at a industrial fan, all while other employees gathered around and watched. read more
