Another clerk came and said she would help who was next. She helped one person and then disappears even tho the line was now about 8 people long. It was finally my turn. The clerk took my name and birthday then proceeded to press buttons on the touch screen for easily over a minute. What is going on??? I switched from CVS to Walgreens a few years ago because the cost of my medication was cheaper. For quite awhile I had no issues. I even went to Walgreens for my Covid 19 shots and boosters as well as my yearly flu shots. My love affair with Walgreens ended a few months ago when suddenly my medication was not available for refill because it was back ordered. This may not be the pharmacy's fault but they just didn't seem to care! I'd spent literally 45 minutes to an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone and then get the run around. At one point the prescription was sent to a different Walgreens (by my doctor, Walgreens would not do this for me) that had the pills in stock. After driving out of my way to this location and waiting 30 minutes I was told the pills were actually expired and they couldn't fill it! I tried to reach out to someone about all this poor service by posting on Twitter and was sent a DM immediately asking for my contact information. I supplied it and was told I'd get a call in 2-3 days. Well folks, that was 3 months ago and no one has called. I've reached back out to the Twitter account and they apologize and say someone will call, but they don't. Long story short, when I can find a pharmacy with a competitive price I will be leaning Walgreens and not looking back. I'm not sure if any of them are better, I mean I left CVS for a reason, but I'm ready to try someone new. Fun fact: when you are on hold with Walgreens their automated system plays you 18 seconds of hold music and then gives you a 8 second voice recording explaining how important your call is to them. The system the REPEATS the SAME 16 seconds of hold music followed by the same 8 second voice recording. Try dealing with that for 45 minutes waiting to talk to the pharmacist, I dare you!! I wanted to puncture my ear drums!!'

Joke's on you- they do not work. It's just patron after patron stuck trying to figure out this unnecessarily complicated interface while the person behind the counter who normally would just verbally take your order and hand you your meds, stands there helplessly 2 feet away trying to help you through this new nightmare experience you are both in. I can only assume the head of CVS's IT department is in some elaborate fight to sabotage the head of Pharmacy and the rest of us are just collateral damage. For a company closing a ton of stores to "optimize their retail footprint", this is not the answer. I have thus far tried twice to pick up my prescription and been thwarted both times by a short line that does not move because no one can figure out this dumb kiosk. And I don't think the pharmacists can bypass it? Whose idea was this?! Did no one test this thing before unleashing it on the masses? After going back and forth and waiting for about a half an hour to get my prescriptions, I was told my insurance is expired... which is false. Online my information states discounted pricing WITH exactly how much insurance saved me. Yet when I was there she claimed to me over and over that my information is incorrect and it's my fault my insurance expired. I was met with comments like "well at least I have insurance and pay for mine" "if you want any discounts you're going to have to come inside and talk to someone else" among others. She told me she would remove any discounts on my account just because I started to become upset and frustrated. I believe I was warranted to be upset considering all of the information I gave her was correct and my insurance has not expired yet. Shame on you Michelle. You shouldn't be working in any type of health care or customer service.

Since it's on Thayer it's going to have more offerings geared to the college students. This CVS is closer to my home which makes it my CVS and sometimes I'll get the odd craving to make cheap macaroni and find myself at 11:30 at night parking on or around Thayer for a quick food run. Speaking of parking, it's not easy finding a spot as they don't have a lot and trying to find a space in that area is almost futile at certain hours of the day.

This Walgreens has its own private parking lot with strict 30 min parking spots to keep things moving. I had no trouble finding a parking spot, even at a busy time of day. Assumption #2: The pharmacy must be tiny with not a large variety of OTC products & other goods. Verdict: Wrong! It's very deceiving. It looks super small from the outside, but it's pretty spacious inside with a large beauty & skin section. I found the exact falsies I was looking for. It was clean inside, the staff was friendly, & I found the experience to be not-frustrating which is generally what I'm looking for when it comes to pharmacy errands. I will definitely be back to this Walgreens specifically. I might even move my prescription here.

The instructor recommended purchasing acrylic Red Heart Super Saver yarn from Walmart. Fortunately, the yarn was on sale for $3.77 each and I was able to get it at this price. The original price was $4.99, which is still cheaper compared to Michael's and other arts and crafts stores. I had a positive shopping experience at Walmart. There is plenty of parking. The aisles were clearly marked with signs and I was able to find the items I needed effectively. The store was fully stocked and items were organized and neat.
