I'm kicking myself for not writing the staff's names down but clearly the management encourages kindness with each customer. Frustrating. Got my first Covid 19 vaccine here, went in for the second one. Forgot my card, my fault. Drive back home to get it. Get there and then told they no longer have the vaccine I got the first time. Why didn't you all say anything when I said I was there for my second dose of the vaccine? I don't have time to just come here for nothing. I'm going to a different location to get my second vaccine b/c I care about public health as well as my own. But for someone else, they might not get the 2nd vaccine at all. Want people to get vaccinated? Don't do whatever this was. read more

AWFUL PLACE, DO NOT GO HERE. The pharmacy is a joke. They messed up the paperwork and on the paper work it says "if this informs is wrong please notify the pharmacy" and I did. They took the paper and told me I needed to sign the last page and l asked where the first page was (the one with the wrong information" and told me I signed it when I DIDNT. I gave it back because it was wrong and the person giving me the vaccine demanded i go into the room and to not worry about the paper I was supposed to sign , after he said I signed it. FIRST OF ALL. I had questions and you told me they didn't matter. I didn't know why you would think someone would just sign something with wrong information on it and then try to tell me I signed it when I didn't, unless you forged my signature. Second YOU DO NOT DEMAND I GET INTO A ROOM AND TO SHUT UP because I need to know why you told me not to worry about it. And then yell at me and talk to me like I'm stupid . This person acted like he was on drugs the whole time he was talking to me, who tf talks to people like that? Especially at their job? The first time I got the vaccine it was fine and the other guy was great . But this person should lose his job on the spot for treating people the way he treated me. I'm happy that I went into this location. The girl at the front helped me find a thermometer. All the stores around here were all sold out. I had driven around from a local CVS to Walmart to Walgreens. This store was the one that helped me locate one before I went to pick it up at another Walgreens location. Ughhhh, as if it's not enough that the prescriptions are never ready or correct, today was a new one. We were given the wrong prescription. We recieved a bag of over the counter test strips instead of a controlled pain med! 25 minutes, in the finally open, drive through. Then driving back up there to sort this mess out. Another half hour. I can't wait to start moving things over to mail order. This stress is going to give my wife a stroke. I hope someone sets them straight before they KILL someone with their carelessness. read more

Call me crazy but my life is fueled by "novelty factor". The fact that I can walk into this place and get a delicious Blue Monster & rent a movie at the Red Box outside are great but what you really come here for is the judgmental eyes of the cashier as you make your purchase. The slow pan of your items, then the look up to you, then back to your items and then back to you. If you're really lucky you may even get a question...like "gonne be a long night huh?" or "hungry?" Sometimes I like to go in there and just buy items to throw them off...a snuggie, a hat from the local high school, a quart of oil and a tube of lipstick. Judge me now...judge me now. read more

I just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to the service that I received from Jennifer the tech and pharmacist that was there today. I was diagnosed with Bronchitis and the flu today I went to go and pick up my medication through the drive up box and I asked her if she didn't mind grabbing me some Kleenex for me to purchase. I told her I was feeling really bad And I would appreciate not coming in. Without hesitation she asked me what my preference was as far as Kleenex's went and she came back with exactly what I asked for. Her customer service skills are impeccable! It felt great to feel taken care of. Then when I left she said to me I wish I could make you a pot of chicken soup so that you can feel better. I thought that was so genuine and caring. We need more people like that. They take their time and make sure your needs are met. No one wants to be rushed when their sick. CVS Wylie 24hr kinda gone down hill so Walgreens really was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for your kind service today! I'm glad I switched pharmacies! read more

Worst store + customer service experience ever. I was looking for a specific hair product the other night, and I thought I'd try Walgreens. The floor associate didn't even know what it was I wanted, let alone the brand I wanted it in. She had me spell it out for her so she could check online on her phone. (You'd think they'd have an inventory they can go check; or an idea as to what products they carry). She told me it was only sold online, so I thanked her and left. I then checked walgreens.com myself. Whaddaya know, it wasn't online only at all, and the website showed that the Greenville store I'd just left had 2-5 of the item in stock. So I went back inside and showed the page to the clerk at the register. He had no idea, so he called someone else. That someone else turned out to be the kryptonite girl. I showed her my phone; she apologized saying she'd thought I'd meant another product. She called yet another associate, who said they don't carry that brand anymore. I told her that in fact they do, and it's right behind her. She goes to look, and then says they carry the brand but they don't carry that item. No shit?? I show her the Walgreens website that says they are supposed to have 2-5 of that item in stock as we speak. She says if they had it she'd know. I gave up & went back to my car, determined to get it for my birthday the next day. It was only available in three other stores in dozens. After my experience in Greenville Walgreens, I figured I'd call and double check if the others really had the product before I went. The girl in the Rockwall Walgreens didn't know the type of product I was referring to, nor the brand (no surprise there). First she said they didn't have it. She couldn't even remember the name, so I doubted she really checked. I got her to look some more, but then she looked at the hair color shelves. I patiently explained that it wouldn't be there, plus she kept asking me to repeat the name of the brand, which meant she didn't even find the other products I was sure they would have. She eventually found them but not what I needed. The guy who answered the phone in Richardson had a better memory and a higher IQ (or he was simply paying more attention) so it took him just two runs to find the product. Unfortunately, they only had it in black whereas I needed light brown. I called the Sachse Walgreens last and boom, they had it! The right brand, the right product, and the right color. I double checked everything before I drove 1.5 hrs to and back. They reassured me they checked and they really did have it when I told them about my long drive. I drove all the way up there and boom, they didn't actually have it. I found the girl I talked to on the phone, then found out she never checked the shelves for herself. She THOUGHT she'd seen it when she was in that aisle earlier. I'd even asked her if she was holding the box and if what she saw fit what I was describing and she'd said yes! I'm sorry but this is outright lying. And for what? Because she couldn't leave the register. Then tell me you can't leave the register instead of freaking lying to me causing me to lose two hours of my life! Of course, if she actually knew about the products they (don't) carry, all this could have been avoided. Anyway, I take a deep breath and calmly ask to speak to the manager; manager on duty shows up. I nicely explain what's happened, but he starts to make excuses. I then openly ask that they rush-ship me the product to compensate for all the hours I spent trying to get Walgreens employees at various locations to accomplish simple tasks (I don't say that last part out loud), but now he says he doesn't have the authority. I ask to speak to the actual manager; they refuse to contact her. I call customer service, they're CLOSED. I tweet to the actual company account; they say "sorry, we'll report this", but nothing more. And all this on the eve of my birthday. Ugh. I'll do my best to never shop at any Walgreens again. read more

Wishing my Sachse store would reach the shopping experience of a typical Walgreens. Seems there's no leadership and a lack of employees. This location is very different from most Walgreens stores. One teen cashier and one young photo tech seem to run the entire customer service. No beauty advisor to help with products and no one stocking the bare shelves. Management is scarce, except when found chatting in the aisles with another manager. They had an "inconvenienced" attitude when I approached to ask for assistance. Front employees, as well as pharmacy, seem sad with a lack of enthusiasm in their jobs. Other stores are energetic and smile with a helpful attitude. Promo displays in cosmetics are usually empty and my makeup is typically out of stock or damaged. No matter which location, I'm creeped out by insincere "welcome" or "be well" when entering or exiting store. Simply, this location needs retail competency in a bad way!!! read more

I have never been to a store where a manager would bend over backwards to help a customer as much as this Walgreen's does. I use to always go to other stores for my items until one day I stopped at this Walgreen's in Sachse. When I walked in the store there was an older lady working very hard on the isle arranging products. I was immediately greeted by her with a smile and was asked " how I was doing today?" I told the lady I was good, but I was looking for something very special for a friends birthday. I was not really sure what I was looking for, but Candice (the manager) stopped what she was doing on the isle and spent time helping me find the perfect items. Candice had been paged overhead several times while she was helping me, but not one time did she seem overwhelmed or frustrated. She was so professional to her employees, as well as, very nice, funny, and and sweet to everyone she came in contact with. While she was helping me, she still acknowledged and greeted the other customers too. You can tell she loves her job and enjoys helping the customers that enter her store. Candice made my experience at Sachse Walgreen's a fantastic one!! I now go to this Walgreen's because this is where I feel so special!! Candice is an outstanding manager to her employees and she does a great job helping others. I highly recommend Sachse Walgreen's!! read more
