Went it today for grocery shopping, first time using coupons my friend gave, i downloaded, and from the ads. So i had a bunch, really a lot. Would've cost me more than $300. Rose or Rosa who patiently assisted me in ringing all those transactions, which she had to void the first transaction because it's confusing, and had to punch in again 1 at a time with the coupons, it took at least 20-30 mins to finish up. And after 2 transactions, whoa I can't believe, I saved more than $150, thats half the price on what I supposed to pay. So make sure that when you go and have your coupons with you, to ring it up at the same time with the product you are getting. Other than that I am a satisfied customer. read more

This review is for the perfume counter. Wow, I think I just got the rudest service of my entire life. While perusing the store I decided to stop by the perfume counter and smell some pretties. After standing there for a couple minutes someone finally asked me if I needed help. So the woman comes over and I tell her that I'd like to smell some of the perfumes. She get an annoyed look on her face and says, "We don't have testers here. They're all sealed." Well, I noticed that there were quite a few open bottles that are obviously used for testing and I point that out. She gives me a look that says "You are a pain in my ass" but informs me that she'll have to call the manager. Manager comes and she gives me a horrible look and says "She wants to smell the perfumes", as if that's a strange request. He hands her the keys, and she rolls her eyes and asks me which one I want to smell. I tell her, and she picks up the box, shakes it at me, and says "It's sealed." while looking at me like I'm an idiot. At that point I had had enough and told her to forget it. Look lady, I'm terribly sorry you're having a bad day, but take the stick out of your ass and slap a smile on your face. You've chosen to work in the customer service field, so check your attitude at the door. I don't need your condescending commentary, especially when I'm making a perfectly reasonable request. I also don't need you to stare down your nose at me while providing me with your exemplary service. All I wanted was to smell a couple of bottles of perfume. At the perfume counter. Seems logical, doesn't it? Who wouldn't want to smell a fragrance before buying it? You need a nice long lesson in customer service. The fact that she was so blatantly rude to a customer in front of her MANAGER says a lot. Part of me wants to call and complain about her horrible attitude towards customers, but I'm not sure how much good it would do. read more

This Walgreens has horrible staff working in the photo department. I've observed twice already the photo department staff be extremely rude to its customers. One time I saw an older couple ask for assistant using the machine and the person working the photo department basically told him to follow the instructions on the machine. The couple was obviously having a hard time doing that but the employee talked to the couple as they were dumb and were wasting his time, and did not offer to help. Then most recently I was paying at the front cashier and could hear the employee at the photo center talking to a lady. The employees tone was very patronizing and rude. "No! You DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH POINTS! You need to spend more money" "Lady! I said NO!". He repeated this several times. Every time louder. Instead of taking the time to politely explain the the customer how the point system work. He was shouting at her for everyone to hear that she was wrong and he was right. Did my passport pic here. Easy, but I got a letter from gov saying my eyes were either closed or my eye color couldn't be discerned. I had glasses on and there is epic glare when I take pics here so that letter came a few weeks after I took the pic. I went back and the dude doing pics just took another one and I was on my way no charge for the redo pic. 1 star off for the original screw up as they should check for those type of things ( I should have too, but I was in a hurry and didn't know the regulations either). My advice, don't wear glasses or angle them to avoid glare and double check that your pic meets all the guidelines lol. read more

The photo departmen and manager at this store is a joke. Order 2 11x14 canvis prints online at 4pm yesterday and was promised a 7:50pm pick up. When i went they said it was printing so i said i would just pick it up in the morning. When i went this morning surprise surprise it wasnt ready (not even printed). She told me come back "like after 10am" "if u dont like it ill just cancel it"!. Asked to speak to manager and he said "well i wasnt here last night so i cant do anything". I couldn't belive it. If I can give 0 star to this Walgreen, I will. They try to give the customer a hard time when they try to return their purchases. Even though the website says the online purchases can be returned to local stores for full refund, the manager at White Road tried to give me a run around and said I had to return it thru USPS using a return label. This place is very convenient for me as it's near my in-law house and open until mid-night. I can use the drive-thru to drop off the prescription on the way to my in-law for dinner. After dinner, I would pick up the medications and heading home. read more

Yesterday I went to pick up my prescription, that was dropped off 3 1/2 hr earlier, through the drive thru. I waited 30 minutes before I got attended again. When the employee looked through her computer, she told me that my prescription was not done yet, if it would be alright if I came back in an hour. I calmly told her to get my prescription because I am going somewhere else to get it filled. I drove 1/2 mile to their competitor and they filled my prescription in 10 minutes. This Walgreens pharmacy need a new pharmacist, the one they have (katherine N.) is too pretentious. Was not able to answer a simple "yes" or "no", she would goes on a tangent with her answer. This pharmacist is not good at customer service, need to learn how to listen to customer better. This store is not the only pharmacy in town, but she acts like it. You should replay your answers to the customers, and see what I meant. read more

I went to the pharmacy to get 2 different vaccines and the vietnamese male pharmacist insisted I couldn't get both on the same day even though I needed them. Too much stress later I found out other walgreens pharmacies allowed me to get the 2 on the same day completely safe. I switched to this Walgreens pharmacy because CVS was so terrible, only to find out this is WORSE, which i thought couldn't be possible. The FIRST day i switched, i called to see if my prescription was ready and was put on hold for 50 min, when finally an Asian lady answered, was very rude, said she didn't see any prescription ready for me, when I had talked to a very nice lady earlier, i think her name was Amanda, and she said she was filling it. I got disconnected while talking to her and had to call the store manager to get the pharmacy on the line, and it turns out the rude lady was wrong, my prescription was ready. I went in to pick it up, there was only was only one lady working, with a long line. I waited 33 minutes in line, just to have the girl be rude to me. She was a short, Asian lady. She must've been the same girl from the phone. She was very unfriendly. Last night was my 2nd time going there. I dropped my prescription off at 5:45 (after waiting 22 min in line to even drop it off) and they said it would be ready by 8:00. This time i went to the drive thru window (which sux too) to pick it up at 8:00,and waited 25 min, only for them to tell me it wasn't ready yet, and probably wouldn't be ready til tomorrow because they were backed up. WTFFFFF! R u serious? Even CVS never pulled that crap! I really needed my meds! Then the guy says, it hasn't been 30 days, so I'd have to wait until Thurs! Another WTFFFFF!!! Why didn't they tell me that when i dropped it off?! I saw the Indian girl who processed it, when i dropped it off, put it thru the machine. She should've known! By the way, the Indian girl is not friendly at all either. She was like a Zombie, with absolutely no expression! I've worked in customer service for years and pride myself on it. These employees need some serious customer service training! They wasted so much of my time going there for nothing, and i transfered there a few weeks ago and they have not called me once to tell me any of my other prescriptions are ready. Nowv I'm gona switch once again to Save Mart Pharmacy, where my cousin goes. She said they are a smaller pharmacy and she never has to wait! Walgreens recently closed the Evergreen Village store, so along with everyone else, I am now forced to use this Walgreens. Although the volume in the prescription area obviously has increased significantly, there has been no increase in the employee count. So, my sick wife and I had to wait for nearly an hour to get a simple prescription filled. There was one Pharmacist, a couple of clerks, and about 75 patients waiting. The clerks and the pharmacist were working very hard, but they were simply overwhelmed. I normally patronized the Walgreens in Evergreen Village, avoiding CVS and Rite Aid in favor of Walgreens, but now it appears they all are terrible. My son has febrile seizures because he can't control his fevers when he has an infection. Our doctor sent this pharmacy a prescription for antibiotics. We call them and they say they have nothing and tell us to call back within an hour after being on hold for 30 minutes. We call, wait another 30 minutes and nothing, so okay, wife and I call clinic and asked them to fax prescription again, clinic confirms, we call again and nothing. So we wait till the next day, today, and call at 9AM, after being on hold for the initial 30 minutes, nice man asks for phone number for clinic, I give it to him for him to contact clinic verbally. He then tells me that their system is down and that it may not be back up till later this evening. I call again, now 1pm, nice lady says she doesn't have any prescription ready. That my son has no prescription available??!!!!!! So then I remind her that clinic contacted them verbally, puts me on hold to check with supervisor, 3 minutes later she says they have it and it should be ready later. WTF does "later" mean?? 3pm, 5pm, 6pm? it's amoxicillin, you pour it in a jar, you mix it with strawberry flavor and voilà. How hard is it to do that? it's like pouring beer in a mug, except the jar may have a smaller opening. It amazes me how their sense of urgency for the well being of sick people is so..... careless. What a joke. Going to have to try CVS, seriously. read more
