Updating my review to say toktok is my absolute favorite place to shop. They keep their inventory fresh and consistently updated and it makes every trip exciting--I feel like even after buying something I always have something in mind to get next time, and I consider myself a minimalist :) their IG posts are gold and their social media managers deserve a raise. My friends say their fav thing about it is the price point--very accessible. Of course there are top shelf items like the Hera lip gloss and cushion that I am eyeing as well, but for the most part their price points are incredibly reasonable. With such a great selection, stellar location, and super friendly staff, I find no reason to shop anywhere else for my cosmetics and toiletries. read more

This store is my happy place! The staff are friendly and do a great job keeping things tidy. They're very helpful but also let you shop in peace, which I appreciate. They have a lot of popular asian skincare, hair care, and makeup + lesser known products that are fun finds and still effective! I've found that their products are oftentimes a better deal than what you'd get from online retailers like yesstyle/stylevana when you factor in shipping costs. It's also in a great location near heytea and ranch 99, making it a convenient stop to get all your necessities! The parking lot can get busy depending on when you go, but it's never taken me more than 5mins to find a spot. Things that would improve the experience is having more inventory (i've had a few experiences where the product I went in for are out of stock and they aren't always sure when it will be restocked). I also wish they carried the Kose tone up sunscreen, but at least there are plenty of other products to try! read more

This shop has a lot of items that people tend to order online or whenever they visit South Korea and buy their beauty supplies from Olive Young. Local Korean beauty spot in the Bay Area. Located in a large Asian shopping plaza, plenty of parking. Went here on a Sunday and it was busy. My best friend told me about this Korean beauty store. I was curious and I went. It's a small store but packed with tons of products. You can earn rewards too if you sign up for their program (free to join). The employees in the store are super helpful. The reason why Korean products are good because the country bans 1000 harmful chemicals versus America only banning 11. Also the price point is better. I bought 6 items for $57. I am done with Sephora. Also good to support a local business and not a corporation. I'm excited to try all these products. Looking forward to coming back. The store is located in the barber lane plaza to the right side of 99 ranch. The store is small but packed with so much to look at and everything is super neatly organized. Ate at a restaurant nearby and treated myself to some skincare after! They had some popular Japanese skincare like the pair acne cream and melano cc as well as a wide variety of other Asian beauty and skincare brands!! I like that they have a lot of testers and products that I can usually only buy online so it's nice to see the colors and swatch in person. I have been struggling with my skin the past year since I officially found out I have Malassezia Folliculitis. I tried out so many products from Sephora, Ulta and Dermstore, and have yet to find a skincare routine that does not trigger my frustrating and relentless Malassezia Folliculitis. So much money and product wasted! Countless hours have been spent researching Malassezia Folliculitis safe products and I found a few Korean skincare (Malassezia Folliculitis safe) products that were only available to purchase on Yesstyle, Olive Young, and other Asian beauty websites. However, the biggest downside to those websites is the long shipping. But one day, as I was googling a specific product, I found TokTok Beauty. They carried so many products that I have been eyeing! Then I noticed on their website that they were located in Milpitas! My jaw dropped. No way it is only 3 miles away from me! I purchased a few products on their website and was able to choose pick up instead of shipping which was so amazing! I cannot believe I no longer have to wait 2-3 weeks for my Korean skincare. The store is filled with all the well known Asian (Korean, Japanese and Chinese) brands - it was literal HEAVEN for me. They had skincare, makeup, haircare, and so much more! I originally came in to pick up my order but I ended up spending about a half an hour browsing their inventory. I also asked for recommendations on good Lip masks since I have severely dry lips and the kind associate helped me find a great Canmake one. She was so sweet and helpful! I was also shocked how many customers were there around 3pm on a weekday. Love that for them! I feel so blessed and lucky to live so close. My friends and I went here today after ordering boba at hey tea a new boba joint in the plaza. Finding parking was relatively hard but we managed to in the end. We drove the suv so keep in mind parking in this plaza is mostly compact. I enter the store seeing lots of Japanese and Korean items and really enjoyed their selection. I ended up getting the lip plump that's popular right now in Korea and it was quite the same price on Amazon as well. I thought they would mark it up more but nope same price which I appreciated and some got some Korean face mask. I will most likely be coming back here again when I need to restock my beauty items. They have a pretty good selection and it's nice to be able to get things in store compared to online from overseas sellers. They also have testers for some of the items. Sales Associates are normally very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm pretty new to the world of K beauty (and somewhat new to J beauty, but have been using some DHC products the past year). After Aesop decided to be absolutely ridiculous and raised their pricing for my day moisturizer from $48 to $61, I started my K beauty journey. Before visiting TokTok Beauty in person, I did as much research ahead of time as I could to determine what moisturizers, eye creams, sunscreens were the best ones. Problem is, there are a LOT of products and brands out there, with varying reviews for every product. Anyway, they have a bunch of Korean beauty products at the store, and I was testing every cream on my hands and arms till I ran out of room. (They didn't have as many Japanese products, I don't think.) They also have testers for almost every single product, so I was able to determine which products had fragrance added (I hate fragrance in my beauty products) and which didn't. The testers also gave me an idea of how the products would feel on my skin, which is awesome. Also, thank you to the store employee who helped answer a ton of questions I had about what worked best, what was most popular, and also kept some items I selected behind the counter for me so I could come back a couple hours later to buy them. I wound up picking up $200 worth of stuff. Oh boy, my poor wallet. But on the bright side, they'll last me a good while! And compared to pricing for other skincare lines, $200 really isn't bad for: - 3 Beauty of Joseon retinal and ginseng eye creams - Cosrx 92 moisturizing cream - Vitamin C dark spot serum - HaruHaru Airlyft Sunscreen - Beauty of Joseon sunscreen stick (the green mugwort one) - 1 gel pencil eyeliner - 1 liquid eyeliner - 1 lip stain I know there's a markup compared to ordering online from other sites, but honestly...I prefer supporting a locally owned shop where I can easily test out products beforehand. Not only that, but the prices are still overall cheaper than Western counterparts that claim to do the same thing (e.g., Cerave eye repair cream is about $20 at Target for half the amount of the BOJ eye cream for pretty much the same price).
