Just for the photo department. PLEASE take passport photos seriously. You screwed up my photos. You need to have a legit decent camera mounted on a tripod. And an employee that understands composition. My face was off center, there was a flash shadow, and my body wasnt even center in the white sheet. This happened the last time i got passport photos. As of 5/7/2024 this location cannot print 4x6 photos The app will say something like: Your photos will be ready after 2:00pm today. But you'll go in at 7:30pm to pick them up only to find out that they're not ready & will not be ready because their printer is down. Use another location for your photos! read more

This is a really great, underrated drugstore and general store. I have used this location for a while to pick up medicines and to shop for the home, plus food and refreshments at times. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great! read more

A plus - they have their own parking lot so you don't have to look for parking or pay for it. There also wasn't a wait at the pharmacy. This is so different because other Walgreens always have a long ass line no matter what time it is. They also have a private room to do vaccinations. Some walgreens just have a screen. Minus - this Walgreens is small and old looking. There were some seedy characters hanging around outside. However shoplifting mustn't be a thing here because I don't see a lot of locked up items. I went to urgent care and got prescribed 1. A cough syrup, and 2. A flu medicine. They told me that they'd sent the information to this location and that it would be ready in five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, the pharmacy claims I'm not in the system. I call urgent care again and they send the information again. Half an hour later, still nothing. I call urgent care a second time, and they say they're going to call the Walgreens personally. I watch the pharmacists never pick up the phone. An hour later, I get in line for a third time to ask about what was going on--apparently they finally got the information, but it was going to take three hours to prepare (for a cough syrup and flu medicine???), and that they'll call me when it's ready. It's now been four hours and I still haven't received a call, plus the urgent care (after I called a third time) confirmed that they never picked up the phone and that it should not take three hours for it to be prepared, and that they should've let me know while I was sitting there that it was going to take that long instead of waiting for me to come through the line again. I had a 102 degree fever and almost fainted during this whole ordeal and got no kind of assistance from the staff when I asked what else could be done. Plus, while I was waiting, multiple other people were having similar issues. Update: I called to ask about the status, and after being left on hold for twenty minutes (with apparently only one other caller ahead of me) they said that they only had a 15 capsule bottle in stock of my flu medicine instead of 30, and that they were going to call once they got the 30 in on Monday. So they were just going to wait until Monday to give me my medication? read more

5-28-21 review of drive through pharmacy only. Hubs made appointments for us to get our COVID tests so we can home after our flight and not have to quarantine Specific instructions were sent by confirmation email then another one as a reminder the day of. We pulled up to the drive through window and Javier checked our drivers licenses and medical insurance cards. He gave us a sheet with info to retrieve the results and a ziplock type bag with a swab and a screw top container. Seab each nostril 5 times then insert the swab in, break the swab in half and replace top of container. Seal bag well and slide into the drive through window. That was a bit cumbersome for Hubs but I went second so it was a breeze, thank goodness. Now we can continue on to Gilroy and find some garlic products. Enjoy the Memorial Day weekend read more

This is a review of the pharmacy and is a culmination of 6 years of immense frustration. Not calling me to inform me that my rx is ready, not following through and contacting my doctor when refills need to be authorized, Extremely Long wait times, rude employees, inadequate number of employees and half of them do nothing or constantly ask the one competent person to help them do things... The kicker was the physical script that was dropped off that they were, for some reason, unable to fill. Claiming they didn't understand the clear instructions, when in reality they couldn't tell the difference between an 'S' and a '5'. Did the call the doctor? No. They faxed. They faxed in 2021. Did they call ME? NO. They told me it would be ready that afternoon and the following day it was still not ready... a week later, after making sure my doctor FAXED THEM BACK not once... but TWICE... I had to call to see if my rx was ready. The store itself is fine, but 99% of the time I only go there for the pharmacy and I have been getting my prescriptions filled at various Walgreens for almost 20 years and have NEVER had such appalling service on such a consistent basis. read more

If you need a prescription filled, do not go to this location. Our daughter needed a specific antibiotic and although the first pharmacist we dealt with was nice, she was unable to assist us but made some suggestions as to where we could get the script filled. Once we found a pharmacy that had our daughter's medication we attempted to get the script transferred, the afternoon pharmacist held my daughter's prescription hostage it seemed, refusing to transfer it to the new pharmacy and actually lied to our faces saying she had transferred the script via fax. We drove across town to verify that the prescription had been transferred and it had in fact not been transferred. Please, if you need a medication for your child I implore you to look for other options, the afternoon pharmacist at this location is negligent! read more

This place is a mess. I ordered two photos online. I got the message that it was ready so I went to pick it up. I got the envelope with my photos, and when I was about to leave I check the photos inside. One of the photo was mine and the second one wasn't mine. Then I went to tell them and they didn't know what to do. They were like they probably put my photo on someone else envelope so a stranger somewhere out there has one of my photos. The guy was going to look thru each envelope to see if my photo was on one of them. They still didn't know what to do so then I was like "if I ordered a photo now, will I get it now?" And that's what we ended up doing. This all took more than 15 mins. I wouldn't recommend printing photos here. However, if it is your only chose, then be aware that a stranger might end up with one of your photos or that somehow can mess something up because while I waited for my thing to be solve, other people came and I will see them all complaining out something. I think one guy got like a block of photos that wasn't his with his photos all in one envelope. read more

I made an appointment for an RSV vaccine given that I'm 35 weeks pregnant, had a prescription from my doctor for it, and was in the right range of weeks pregnant to get the vaccine. I told Kim at the pharmacy i was checking in for an appointment for my vaccine, and she asked for my ID. I gave it to her and then pulled out my phone, remembering that I got an email with a confirmation number for the appointment. I thought that might be helpful. she proceeded to raise her voice to me and tell me "she had the appointment, she was just upset right now" (presumably because the customer in front of my had taken a long time and seemed to be giving her a hard time). I can completely understanding getting thrown off by a difficult customer. what I can't understand is then using that as an excuse for your poor attitude and raised voice. Kim the proceeded to say something to me that I literally could not hear (she was wearing a mask, looking down while she spoke, and there was a huge line of people talking behind me). I thought she said that you had to be 16, so I probably looked confused and I told her I was 29. She then yelled at me "sixty. six zero, you have to be 60". I'm pretty sure any 8 month pregnant woman would have cried, and I definitely did and that's when I finally raised my voice and told her I was pregnant, had my doctor note for her, and that she had no reason to yell at me. I think she was surprised when I said I was pregnant or something, because she immediately recoiled and passed me off to a pharmacist. The pharmacist was nicer and I totally understood everything when he nicely explained it. Kim, on the other land, couldn't have been ruder. Sorry you were having a bad day, lady, but next time, think about who you might be speaking to before yelling at your next customer. I already called my doctor and my kids' pediatrician and I've switched our pharmacy. We will not be back. read more

I tried to complain to managment but was blocked three times by girl claiming to be on register 1. "Oh my god he called back" and hung up on three times! Girl claimming to be in camera dept lead , Put me on hold 2 differnt times for 30 minutes or more . I spent over 1 hour trying to get meds filled but people want to be rude over the phone. 1 call to other pharmacy my meds ready in 15 mintues or less.WTF?this is what Walgreens calls customer service now!nobody to answer phones and understaffed rude crew! When I found out that CVS no longer accepts my insurance, I was bummed. When I found out that Walgreens is the only chain pharmacy that accepts my insurance now, I was really upset. Walgreens has never set a good example in any capacity, but this particular location exceeded my expectations of terrible service. Last week I came out of the doctor's office, prescription in hand. There are two Walgreens locations in the vicinity of my home, and I was NOT going to go to the location on 1st street (it's sketchy as heck). So, I chose this one, thinking it *must* be a little better. Well, for that to be the case, the one on 1st street must have the worst customer service of all time. I park to go inside to give my prescription. To start off my poor experience, there was only one pharmacist handling customers at the counter, and customers at the drive thru window, and only one filling the prescriptions. Both were moving ridiculously s l o w. There is a time when you pick up the pace, and that is when you have four customers waiting at your counter and two cars waiting in the drive thru. ...Thirty minutes later and the pharmacist tells me I can wait for the prescription to be filled for twenty minutes. I had a feeling that was not going to happen, so I left. Sure enough, twenty minutes came and went, and it wasn't for another two hours that I got the call that the prescription was filled. I didn't feel like going back out so I waited until the next day. ...One entire day later and I decide it'll be faster if I go through the drive thru. Nope. Waited five minutes to even be acknowledged, and another five for the "head" pharmacist to come over to tell me how to use the medication. But what's this?? It's been over 24 hours since I dropped off my prescription, and it wasn't even completely filled. Of two items I needed, they only filled one -eye roll-. They told me to get out of the drive thru line so they could help other customers while they fill the rest of my prescription. That would make sense if they were capable of multitasking. So whatever, I'll let you do your thing. But guess what? Someone pulls up, waits for at least five minutes to be acknowledged, then just leaves out of frustration. Ha, okay! It takes them 20-30 minutes to fill my prescription. Then, the pharmacist asks me if my doctor told me how to use the product. I literally said, "No, that's your job." Forced her to read the directions from the box to me. I get home, and that night I realize that I was given five one-time applicators for a product I am supposed to use for a week. The prescription label that reads "..for 7 days," is right above the part of the box that reads "Five applicators." Lol. read more

I've been coming to this walgreens for 7+ years. The pharmacy staff is great. I really appreciate their hardwork. Years ago, when I was low on funds, they helped me find discounts for my medication. They continue to help me out when im in need. The rest of the store is good and hardworking. The downside is all the homeless people that come by and beg for money or outright steal but that's not the staff's fault. I wish the store and the staff the best of luck! read more

I ordered a custom made ornament. When I arrived to pick it up they told me that the machine broke. And that's it, they could not do anything else for me. They told me to go back to my computer and place the same order again in a different store. I set up to pick this up during my break and now, after having to re-order it to a different location, screwed up my entire day. They did not let me know their machine was broken until I got there. They could not offer to help at all and they didn't care I had to leave the store without it. The manager looked absolutely overwhelmed, sweating and disheveled. With no interest in helping what so ever and cutting it short acting like he has to run somewhere.... Horrible experience, it ruined my day. Be careful ordering stuff in the photo store, their machine will not be up and working for another two weeks, they said, so they will make you go there and then tell you all about it.
