This, combined with the uncaring reception staff in urgent care and ridiculously long wait times in urgent care, made me switch the kids to a family practice doctor in our suburban community. It's such a relief not to have to deal with the UW Health East clinic anymore. Of course, we still have no close alternative for urgent care and we use it MAYBE once a year. Every time it's a horrible experience (illness aside). Urgent care reception staff could use a morale boost. I realize they encounter all sorts of people and temperaments in their job as the "gatekeepers" between the medical staff and a bunch of frustrated sick people ... and I'm sure they get tired of us. But they don't hide it well at all.

She patiently helped me find the perfect shade I was looking for. I went back and Missy again helped me find foundation, concealer, blush and a perfect red lip. She put all on me so I could feel good about the products before buying and I was set. Going back a third time another girl helped me and she was just as kind, knowledgeable and helpful. All the girls there have perfect make-up application and seem to be aware of skin that isn't just 20-something... I was able to exchange a brush very easily too.

The store manager is surprisingly rude, though I will give the employees credit for having a nice demeanor most of the time. Unfortunately for them, their store is dingy and dated. The layout is in the typical 70's era fashion. I never did any significant grocery shopping at this store, but when I did need to pick up certain items it was always hit-or-miss, since the selection was never all that good. The produce area was not terrible, though I don't recall ever seeing organic. I used to frequent the deli for lunch quite often since it was a quick walk, but the food was generally mediocre and occasionally terrible. Most of the food was either fried or broiled. There were a few instances where I was impressed, but these were unfortunately few and far between. I recall there would be sandwich specials from time to time, including turkey with sun-dried tomato and provelone. These were quite good, but it was only a rare occurrence and most days you would have to settle for the same-old. I sometimes would try the pre-made cold sandwiches and salads, but these were never good. I now make it a point to either bring in my lunch or drive to Sauk City rather than go back to the bad old days at the Sentry.

There are still great people who work here, but the managers and the vibe of the store and customer care went from the best in town to the worst.
