Lately (the past 3-6 months) I have been having tons of problems picking up my children's medications. I have some medication I need for them monthly. The auto refill goes in and it frequently takes 4 plus days for the medication to be ready. Other times I go to pick it up and it says it will be kept until a particular date but they place it back early. Frequently long lines. Rarely things go smooth. I think it is time for a change. I had a very unsatisfying experience at this Walgreen's today and it was completely preventable. First, I received a text that my prescription was ready so I went there. Pharmacy closed for lunch. Why not put a notice on the text so people won't make pointless trips? Second, I was searching for a particular OTC pain medicine and when I couldn't find it, I asked the clerk at the register up front. She said, "What's it for?" It turns out that it is for something that I find embarrassing and I do not see why I have to announce it to the register clerk. So thanks, Walgreen's, for not letting people know the pharmacy's lunch closing hours and for hiring people who don't care about embarrassing customers. read more

This location opens super late on weekdays and was out of most brands of water. In the desert one would think they would keep this area well stocked, especially at the start of the day! read more

I've been a Walgreens customer since 2001 and there's a Walgreens a mile away from where I live but no one pays attention to me when I enter the store, the pharmacists are not friendly except for one person. My Doctor called in a prescription, the automated system said it would be ready at 8:15. I showed up at 9:15pm, and waited to be serviced while they were working on prescriptions, only to find out they hadn't even started to fill it. Just bad customer service read more

I don't expect that much from a Walgreens, but these guys are are great. Very helpful customer service. Knowledgeable pharmacists. They offer the COVID vaccine, the flu vaccine and a few others. They have drop boxes in their parking lot for clothes and shoes, donation as well as liquid propane exchange outside the front door. I hear they even have regulars who come in at the same time every week and the staff knows them and greets them excitedly. read more

Single rudest experience at the drive-thru window in the 20+ years I've been filling prescriptions at this location. Walgreens, get it together. Instant rudeness, no provocation, unprofessional, and failed to verify date of birth, address, or payment method before charging my card on file, on top of the abysmal behaviour. Retrain this employee or fire her. She's unsuitable for patient interaction. Signed, another healthcare worker, who actually values common decency, courtesy, dignity, and respect. Alarmingly unsatisfactory treatment. I'll be submitting survey and official complaint for corporate review. Stop passing your HR liability onto the customer. *Editing to add that somehow I went from having quantity 2-months refills remaining when placing my order yesterday, to having 1-month bottle in hand today and now NO refills remaining. 2-1=0. I had a great experience with the photo guy when I went to pick up my order. He accidentally made two of what I ordered and I told him no problem. The lady up front is where the issue was. She overall had an attitude with me and was upset at the guy making a duplicate.... Overall a really negative experience. Will say I ordered a poster with the 70% code at the Walgreens on Indian bend and had a WAY better experience! They were so kind and happy to provide service. Sadly this isn't a good review because of the employees... although I absolutely love Rachel in the Pharmacy dept. Her Boss is an Ass and god forbid you get there 15-30 minutes before closing... you will be told to come in even earlier next time even though you were completely finished with everything before they closed; not bad considering I had to wait 10 minutes in line to be helped & considering there were mistakes made on a couple prescriptions which took a minute to fix... The pharmacist doesn't want to be there a second past closing for anyone and he knows how to make a customer feel like dog poop... so after a good scolding, they closed their pharmacy window at 3 minutes till and were in their cars at exactly 6pm. Not caring at all about me the customer... to the pharmacist, I was just an inconvenience. This isn't the first time I've been scolded... but it's the first time I stood up for myself read more

This is for the pharmacy. The amount of times they have flip flopped with refusing to fill prescriptions on time even with doctor approval, and then after delaying, running out of stock, and then basically saying it's not their problem has happened one too many times. I've never had this many issues and I can't imagine if they do this to people with more serious health issues who need their medications. read more

The pharmacy here has horrible customer service. The Pharmacists are nice and helpful, the Pharma Techs are not knowledgeable or helpful at all. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru today, while they assisted one customer. The guy then jammed my meds in so tight I couldn't get them out of the tube, so I had to come into the store and wait in line again. Last time he told me my 2nd flu shot wasn't covered my insurance, which of course it was. Came back and got someone different and it was taken care of. They are typically understaffed and have long waits in the drive thru and in the store. read more

This is a designated flu shot clinic for my family's insurance. I am here with my two young children, just for a flu shot each. We have been with the healthcare provider for a pre-scheduled appointment for over an hour and counting, and the clinic software is so poor that the provider still has not even registered us in the system, let alone administered our shots. This is clearly a combination of awful software and general company inefficiency. Huge waste of time and very frustrating: please look elsewhere to get your treatment. read more

Worst pharmacy experience I ever had! I went to get some specific medication that is behind the counter and requires a signature and because I interrupted the pharmacist conversation about their dog they brush me off and send me some where else and continued talking and laughing like they where not at work supposed to be taking care of customers. I called my wife to have her talk to the pharmacist and she refused to talk to her and treated me like I was crazy , my wife had to come to the store to get the medication her self . Rude people like that shouldn't be working in a customer service job and less handling medication. Sadly this is not going to be a good review and I wish it was going to be because I really like being a nice person & leaving positive reviews... but it's getting really bad!! My kids go without required medication every single day because I can't get the medications from Walgreens even though they've been called in by the doctor... majority of the time they just can't find it in their system but then ironically it will appear in their system when someone else actually takes the time to look and that's typically the young new pharmacy assistant who actually cares because it's probably his first job... I used to love the pharmacist there and now I just get attitude. A few nights ago I pulled up at the drive-through at 25 minutes till closing. But it took his guy so long to figure out the computer system to find the Perscription (which was supposed to be filled and ready) that the pharmacist yelled at ME () over the drive-through speaker... ma'am you'll need to deal with this tomorrow because we are closing in 10 minutes. God forbid they take the time before they close to help a customer because they would rather be emptying the trash cans and getting ready to leave so they can walk out on the dot at closing. That night I pathetically burst into tears as I sat in their parking lot after it being so frustrating not being able to get my daughters prescription!! As I sat in my car I saw the technician walk out not two seconds after they closed. Because he was rushing his closing chores like emptying trash cans and didn't care at all. I've been a loyal customer for years and years and years!! I can't remember another time when I've used another pharmacy, I've been loyal to them that long. But I've come to discover they don't really give a flip if I get any prescriptions for my family. I have extremely important prescriptions that are desperately needed every month for my kids and each and every month it is like pulling teeth to get anything done. They constantly lose my prescriptions in their system, tell me it's not there and then lo and behold days, weeks or even months later will tell me ironically it IS in the system... Ugh!! This Walgreens get a (2) rating for a very good reason! Take your business to another Walgreens or CVS! Most Walgreens are very good, but this one will not give you good customer service and they are very incompetent and rude, as if you are bothering them! I can only assume they are not paid very well and the job isn't very satisfying for them, but they should look for another job or get a college education so the job market is more favorable for them! I was trying to get my prescription filled because I received an e-mail telling me to pick it up at 7011 Shea. When I got there, I was met by this man who was confrontational and told me they didn't have the medication I was prescribed. I then showed him the e-mail telling me my prescription was to be picked up at that location and it was ready! His attitude continued to get worse and I told him that his pharmacy was very unprofessional and incompetent! He them lashed out at me and called me an "asshole!" I told him I would never shop at this pharmacy again! He then replied, "good you idiot!" And then told me to get it at another pharmacy! I have never been treated so poorly and the reviews on this site confirm that this pharmacy should be avoided! I can't imagine how they treat other people! read more

So I had a script to fill that is not covered by my insurance (imagine that) and Walgreens wanted $233.69. I called the Costco Pharmacy on Hayden and I am getting it for $24.76. This Walgreens is always clean and well-stocked on most inventory. The store and pharmacy workers are all wearing masks and staying safe. I'm giving them this score because the outrageous attitude if the Sunday staff of Pharmacist/Pharm. Tech.'s were rude and gave horrible customer service. The week night staff are amazing, kind and always go above and beyond to be helpful. Today (Sunday at 1:29pm) I came up to the window, and the young lady seeing me rolled the window down half way. I asked, "Are you closed?". She said, "We are closing for lunch". I then asked, "Can I just pick up my prescriptions real quick?" Someone else overheard from the back and yelled to her, "No!". I sat for 30 minutes waiting for them to return from their lunch break. There were no other customers around, my transaction takes less then a minute. I've been in the customer service business for a long time and this is the poorest display of customer service I've ever encountered. I'm mind blown at how inconsiderate this pharmacist and the pharmacy tech.'s were. My advice, work with the week night staff if possible. read more

I needed a prescription and the lady in the drive-thru pharmacy (short and short brown-haired lady) was the rudest person I've ever encountered!!!!! I wasn't sure what numbers she was asking for on my insurance card so I was trying to ask and she constantly commented on how she had so much to do and so she made me come inside the store because I was "holding up the line and taking forever" and continued to tell me how I "messed everything up" and how she had to start all over. I left bawling and if it weren't for the sweet lady working the counter up front, there's no way I would've willingly gone to pick up my prescription after she yelled at me in the drive thru. I'm a big fan of this location for one simple reason, I can actually schedule an appointment for their take care clinic and find available times online. It saves me an incredible amount of time over going into a clinic and seeing how long it might be amongst the masses parked there in chairs. For some reason other locations are always booked, booked, booked. Take Care staff are very helpful, and helped me navigate checking in using their system. This is great for small things like flu shots, and other things I don't want to bother with spending extra appointment time with a doctor. Also they offer a yearly 10% discount card on their services and generic prescriptions for $20. Great if you happen to be between insurance coverage. read more

Those 5 stars are for the Take Care Clinic inside Walgreens. This was my first time at this location, but have frequented other locations and have never been dissatisfied. The Nurse Practitioners here beat the experiences I have had in finding or going to a regular family physician (so, besides me getting plagued with respiratory infections twice a year, this is why I frequent the clinic.) Hardly ever a wait, registration is electronic, and the Rx is right there. So much better than being processed in a Dr.'s office by 4 different people who seem to hate their job. I feel bad as I cannot remember the Physician's name that helped me last week, but she was awesome. Like I said, they always are - they are like [Mom]. And when I say 'awesome', I mean in that she was actually sincere, gentle, inquisitive without just prescribing me expensive drugs that may or may not work first round so that i have to come back and didn't rush me through the process. I love going to the Take Care Clinics for this reason. It can be a little pricey without insurance, but I feel it is still reasonable. Yeah, I am a sickly person and have to go a couple of times a year - but if I have to go, I go here. They have more of my records than any Doctor's office I can think of. read more

i went to fill a prescription which I have been filling for several months under a coupon. The coupon is good for a year for free. Today they tried to charge me. I explained about the coupon. I was with my husband who had the same coupon for the same drug. They gave him his at the zero amount,but told me that not only could I not get mine for free but my insurance denied it and now I need doctor authorization. I left and called my insurance they told me they authorized the claim and payed out on the perscription. I called to speak with a manager and was transfered around and finally hung up. read more
