I have not personally tried the pharmacy here, so I can't speak to that, however my review is geared more towards the convenience store goods and services. Pros: Spacious, well stocked: This CVS is well organized, large and spacious. It is extra cool in the summer-- the AC is blasting, and upbeat music is always playing! Friendly employees: The employees here are friendly and helpful-- they will greet you as you enter, and assist with any questions that you have. You never have to wait too long in line here-- between the friendly employees and self-checkout, it always is an efficient experience. Conveniently located: The CVS is conveniently located off of Indian School Road, very close to old town scottsdale, making it walkable. There is also lots of parking outside of the CVS. Good selection of beauty products: This CVS carries a good selection of beatuty products-- shampoos, nail products, and makeup-- I always find the beauty product that I am looking for...and even some I am not looking for Cute seasonal products: Lots of cute seasonal products at this CVS-- you can even see some in the picture that I posted! Other: No passport photos: I don't believe that this CVS offers a photo booth, so just keep that in mind if you need to have pictures taken for your ID. read more

I know this pharmacy continues to get bad reviews, but I'm here to say that I've not experienced what others have. I'm speaking specifically to the pharmacy, not the drug store. The pharmacist is friendly and helpful, I'm always in and out, I love that they have a drive thru. Beware!!DO NOT BUY gift cards from this location. It's a scam. The gift card numbers are presaved and once you pay for it someone somewhere, maybe employees , maybe scammers use up the money. If you need medications do not come to this CVS pharmacy. Not only do they operate with reduced hours, but you will wait for hours on end. You might even have to leave as they will not be able to fill the prescription! I had medications transferred here as it is close to my new house. Called for several days and as I was on perpetual hold for hours- decided to go there in person. I waited in line for 45 min to speak to someone followed by another 45 min wait. Heard horrible stories from people who are there second or third time trying to get meds. And if your insurance has a special deal with the CVS...well you will have to wait. The main reason for this horrible situation is that just about all pharmacist have quit recently due to variety of reasons. The "store manager" Miguel was beyond rude and going on a power trip. The line in front was long his employee had to call him up for help multiple times. He was annoyed before he even said hello. Did not apologize for the wait. I needed something out of a locked case and he told me to go wait by the case and he would be over when he could. I asked him are you going to help everyone behind me before you come help me and he said yes. When he came over I didn't small talk with him and this offended him. He gave me my product and told me to get back in the long line. I expressed how i had already waited and told him I was surprised he wouldn't walk with me to the front and check me out. He told me that this was rude and I told him it wasn't rude to point out his poor management skills. He told me I was not getting my item and to leave the store. There are many complaints about him specifically I am surprised no one has addressed his poor management. read more

Worst pharmacy experience ever. The pharmacist was incredibly rude. She refused my coupon from my doctor, and rolled her eyes at me when I asked why it was taking so long to get my medication. I had to come into the pharmacy 3 separate times before they finally had my medication ready! They weren't even sold out of it, there was no excuse or reason why it was taking so long. They seemed good at first but have proven to be unreliable. My doctor submitted my prescriptions two days ago, and they temporarily showed up in my dashboard but then disappeared. I came back twice and they made up excuses about why they weren't ready and couldn't be available until tomorrow. They also lied about always answering the phone, which they don't. It would be nice to have someone at least act like they care about their patients' medical care, when they have power over what we receive and when. read more

The customer service team are absolutely RUDE!!! I went to pick up a prescription thru the drive thru, the manager Rita was clearly in a bad mood from the moment she open the drive thru window. She told me my prescription is $33, I asked her why, because it was $2.56 last month? She said she didn't know, I can either pay for it or come inside. I said I have new insurance and she said I would have to resubmit my prescription. She kept telling me, there are other customers waiting to pick up (I WAS A CUSTOMER AS WELL TRYING TO PICK UP) she didn't want to answer my questions and rolled her eyes at me, I said "I need my prescription", I said don't be like that. I parked went inside, and stood in line, then Rita yells at me and says I need to go to the drop off window, "I said are you talking to me" she said "YES but if you want to stand in THAT line, THAT'S up to you!" I was picking up a prescription!! Went to the drop off window only to be helped by Camille who had a bigger attitude than her manager Rita, Camille told me that she put in the computer, that store will NO LONGER FILL MY PRESCRIPTION!!!!!! "I said what is wrong with everyone" and the cashier yells "YOU ARE BEING ABUSIVE!!" Asking about my prescription is abusive??!!! All I was doing was trying to pick up my prescription and give them my new insurance info. This Pharmacy team doesn't know how to treat customers. I will not go back to that CVS ever again. Went in to buy cold medicine and needed the restroom suddenly. They refused me the code until I made a purchase despite me being disabled and letting them know that violates ADA laws. They did not care. Drove down to the neighboring drugstore where there is no code OR discrimination. Took two mins. Shame on you CVS! I've never had issues with any pharmacy prior to this location. I have an emergency medication that was supposed to be filled same day. Went yesterday and it's not ready. Today cannot get through to anyone on the phone, have called every hour only to be on hold for 30 minutes each time with NO answer. I will never use this location again. Horrible. read more

Several weeks ago I visited the CVS at Miller and Indian School. When I went to check out, the female clerk dropped down below counter level while I was addressing her. I asked "How can you hear me down there"? She replied " I am looking for something." She then walked away while I was talking to her. She never looked me in the eye. Go in for prescription they say come back in 2 hours they have med. Then get text it's on back order. Call told "yes we have your med the tech didn't look in back of cooler?" So I get text out of meds. Then go in 2 hrs later than the 2 already waited still not filled. Deal with moody tech. Go to refill a month later now. System says out and they will contact me but nothing so I call them 3 days later. Says I have to drive 7 miles to get meds. Ok I'm fine with that but no apology nothing about why no communication and she will transfer to other store. Then get message order cancelled and asked me if I want to refill it on app. I get they are busy but we are customers in need of meds. Called back and told ignore app and store would fill it in 2 hours. Then why have an app if it's not right. So frustrating. Teach empathy to your staff. read more

Worst experience! I had dental surgery and needed antibiotics and pain meds. Came here at 4 pm and they asked me to come back at 7.30 because they didn't have a pharmacist to give me the pain meds. Came back at 7.20, was not acknowledged till 7.30 and they still don't have it. It's now 7.55, my anesthesia is long gone and no one is even acknowledging me or explaining what is going on! When I asked where she went to the restroom she just proceeded to tell me there was no public restroom. I asked where customers are supposed to use the bathroom. CVS has become very inconvenient and less than pleasant for customers that prefer speaking to a human. It use to be that you would receive a call from a live person once a prescription was ready. It sadly then became a horrible weird sounding automated male type voice that was more creepy than convenient. Now, it seems, at least in my experience for the last 5 or so months, that you have to call to see if and when a scrip is or will be ready. Do not however, expect to be able to ask a question of a live person. You are now required to deal with multiple additional steps to get past the prescription information to leave a message on an automated system in hopes of receiving a call back. Time wasted! All for what would have undoubtedly been a 10 second conversation. 1 simple question that only required a 1 word answer. They obviously do not feel that their customers time is nearly as valuable as their own. I will no longer be using this company, (company, not simply location), for the single scrip I have filled at CVS. Maybe CVS can make up their lost revenue from what is likely many lost customers that prefer speaking to a live human, by prescribing some uptraining for management company wide to help correct their apparent lack of concern for providing less than quality customer service. Service has been steadily declining. I used to be able to get refills the next day after requesting them online, but they have been taking longer and longer these past few months. A week is not unusual to wait for a refill even though there are refills left of the prescription. We tried calling last week and we hung up after being on hold for well over an hour before we gave up. Finally got through today and was told they would expedite our refills that we had been waiting for, one for the last 10 days! Got there, and they tried to give me a one-month supply for a 3-month prescription. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, but it is a VERY expensive prescription and three 1-month refills would have cost more - a LOT more! The clerk just asked if I wanted the prescription or not. NOT acceptable! I had to demand the pharmacist fill it properly! I was then told by the pharmacist that they didn't have any more in stock, but that they would have it the next day. Terrible service. They just don't answer the phones here. After over an hour on hold for the pharmacy, I called the store to confirm they were open and alive. Turns out, they just don't answer the phones in the pharmacy. Ever. So I drove over and, sure enough, the whole time I waited (which was a loooong time), the phone notification was going off in the back telling them how many callers were waiting for the pharmacy. I heard the employees say they got approval to shut down, I came back when they texted me that the prescription was ready and they were closed.
