Clean & consistent. There are a few items sold at this Walgreens that you can only get here. If the lines are becoming long, then feel free to take your purchases to the photo, pharmacy & the liquor register to expedite. I have never been told no. read more

This is a pretty clean Walgreens. It's really big and has everything you might have forgotten on your trip to Sedona. However you are going to be paying more than you would have at say Target in your hometown. Priciest toothbrushes I think I've ever bought. read more

I have lived all over the US and have had some seriously bad experiences with Walgreens but when I come home to Sedona, this Walgreens rocks it! I have meds for me and my two birds and they have always been awesome. They are a busy store/pharmacy so pick your times wisely. read more

Went to Walgreen's today for a passport photo. The woman in the photo area told me I could not wear a tank top in the photo (That is not true. I was carrying my current passport which clearly shows me wearing a tank top). I asked for a photo anyway, and she took, not a head shot, but of my torso as well. I told her I needed just a head shot and she rolled her eyes and sarcastically said "I know." Well, if she knew, then why didn't she take a head shot? I turned and walked out. Since CVS arrived in Sedona, we've been going there because of the rude people at Walgreen's (not all of them, but many are rude). Today I was given a reminder of why we switched in the first place. read more

I was given an emergency insulin prescription at VA Cottonwood due to the fact I ran out one day before my appointment. I was told to fill it at either Walgreens or CVS. I unfortunately went to Walgreens who informed me it would be ready in an hour and a half which would have been one o'clock. I decided to go grab a leasurly lunch.While at lunch I received a call telling me my script would be delayed. I went home to wait for them to call me. At 4;00 when I was still waiting I decided to go online and see what the holdup was. They informed me They did not receive instruction from the doctor and they were waiting for a fax from him?????? I said this was BS it's freaken insulin. they informed me it was not BS That is what the Cottonwood branch told them. I immediately called the Walgreens Store Pharmacy and she informed me that they were out of stock and they don't have any at any other close Walgreens. Lie #3. I called CVS and explained what happened and to see if they would bee able to help me. They called Walgreens got the script and filled it immediately. Thank You CVS. IOne thing I can not deal with is incompetence and liers The reason I wouldn't vote for OBAMA. (sorry i had to get that in). But as far as I am concerned I will never step foot in Walgreen again. This is probably the worst experience I've had in my life with pharmacies and I'm 65 years old. I am in reasonably good shape and so is my boyfriend. We visit Sedona about twice a year. On our visit this time we went horseback riding on Sunday March 20th. Bob (my life partner) was bucked off a horse and suffered broken ribs and torn rotator cuff. On Sunday he was seen at the Emergency and given prescriptions for pain etc. We are visiting and returning home tomorrow and we returned to Emergency and the doctor wrote him another script. We went to get it filled and one of the many inept clerks took his ID and looked to see if they had a supply. She returned his ID told us to have a seat and it would take about 30 minutes. We sat there for over an hour and his name was never called. We finally got back in line and the same lady who told us to wait said his script couldn't be filled because the insurance said it was too soon. Bob explained he didn't care he was in a lot of pain. Then this same young lady said her pharmacist would not fill it because it was too soon. She kept repeating over and over again that it was a controlled substance which we knew. I am a retired prosecutor from California and now work at a Recovery Home for women with addiction problems. I full well and so does Bob what a controlled substance is. They refused to call the doctor and finally we got the script back and walked out. Bob was in severe pain. Bob still had enough meds for pain and the doctor wanted him to fill it so when we returned home he would have them until he could see his primary dr. While we were waiting there for over an hour I didn't see but one person there that didn't have a problem with their meds. I can understand their policy, what I can't understand why something wasn't said when they thought there was a problem with the refill. What I don't understand how a pharmacist can dictate how she fills prescriptions when a Dr has ordered it. Thank God my Bob and I are very cognizant and healthy because I saw how they treated some seniors and treated them like second hand citizens. I feel bad for the seniors living in this town. One of the locals tapped me on the shoulder when we were in line and said to go across the street to Safeway. We went back to our hotel and we'll get it refilled tomorrow after our five hour ride home. The pharmacist on duty and the air heads working at this Walgreens should be reprimanded or fired. I'm glad a CVS is coming to Sedona because then the people living here will have a decent and knowledgable pharmacist that care about their patrons. I am also advising the Dr at the emergency that the pharmacist would not honor her prescription and I'm writing a letter to the appropriate person that manages that store. I wouldn't take my puppy to this pharmacy because they do not care about their patrons and are not professional about how they conduct business and show no empathy towards their clientele. read more

It's mixed. This is where I get nearly all my prescriptions for convenience. The service is hit or miss. It not particularly fast or efficient and it just depends on who is helping you. I did get my flu shot here and it took an hour. We just don't have many other options here in Sedona. read more

They were incredible. We came from out of town for our son's wedding and left the memory card for our camera in the computer at home. My camera is an older model. I came in to buy a memory card the morning of the wedding. Went back to the Lodge and it wouldn't format. I brought it back. They accepted the return and spent ages going through all of the trial memory cards to see if any of them would work. We tried at least 5 different ones. None of them would format. They finally found an old one back in a drawer. It had been used and had 53 pictures on it but it worked with my camera. They gave it to me and had me format it, clearing it and I now have lovely photos of my youngest son's wedding, something I would have missed photographing at all if it weren't for the excellent service in their camera dept. They went way above and beyond. Thank you so much!!! read more
