A few professional beauty shop items too such as adjustable salon chairs, blow dryers, and other equipment and supplies. For a smaller sized retail store they stock a huge amount of items. The employee was friendly, talkative, knew her products and was helpful as needed but not pushy like some sales people tend to be. She is very professional, yet treats you like a friend, and truly cares about your dental health. I went in for my 6 month dental check up and cleaning, and the staff was friendly and kind. They were all very knowledgeable and helpful. They accept all types of insurances, and can get you scheduled for an appointment fairly quickly. The office is nice and they use some of the newest dental technology to help them keep your teeth in the best condition. I did not need any fillings, or teeth pulled, just the basic cleaning. Everything went very well, and I will be back in 6 months for my next appointment. Side note: I also took my 86 yr old mother with me to get her teeth examined during the same time as one of my appointments. She had one tooth filled, and said they did a really good job too, and she is scheduled to go back for more dental work. There were also kids in the comfortable waiting room area, so this office does see all ages of patients. There are TV's in all the patient rooms and a TV in the waiting room. They have a variety of flavors of paste to use on your teeth such as mint, cinnamon, root beer, blueberry, and more. I am actually looking forward to returning to the office for my next appt, which is about the opisite, as most people always dread and fear going to the dentist, haha.

Why do I keep coming back? Well... it's not really by choice, haha, but because my doctor sends me…read morehere for some sort of follow up, exam, or to see a specialist of some sort. This location is the brand new Shelbyville Hospital that is still under construction, but has a wing a 2 floors open for business. The old downtown hospital is still in operation too. This new hospital is very nice, clean, well laid out, and as expected for a brand new facility. I have been here a few times for various appointments and like what they have built so far, and once completed this will be a very nice hospital. My only issue with this new hospital is that it is located outside of town, near the i74 and St Rd 9 intersection, and located about 1 mile off St Rd 9 way, way back in what used to be cornfields. I am sure this is the closest mass of land they could find to buy to build such a large complex upon, but still, it's not in the center of Shelbyville, like the old hospital is, so it is not nearly as convenient, and seems like it will take several more minutes to get too, even if by ambulance. And sometimes minutes critically count in emergency situations. Other than the location, I think this is a great hospital and will continue to get better as it nears completion.

I love how they have stairs right at the entrance when you enter the main section of the building with the elevators behind the stairs, helping it to be easier and convenient for people to not be lazy that CAN walk, to take the STAIRS! The building is energy efficient with the patient rooms on movement detectors which saves a lot of energy in the long run. They have self check in kiosks and their laboratory is much bigger and lessens the anxiety of knowing where you are in line, so that u know how long you will have to wait by watching a monitor for status progress. I have visited 5-6 different specialists in this hospital and I've had a pleasant quick experience with very, very low waiting time.
