I went to utilize fedex shipping, was told they do not take anything but labeled boxes however I watched the lady in front of me receive a label from the worker and he taped it to the box. If you are going to lie, make sure you didn't just do the same thing I asked for, for the person in front of me. I was treated as if I was an idiot. This Yelp is for EVERY Walgreen's in America! I have been on blood pressure medication for over 12 years. I have great medical and great doctors who over the course of my treatment have found the right balance of medication that works best for me. I take my medication as scheduled because I do not enjoy emergency room visits. It seems strangely coincidental that EVERY time I have needed a prescription and used Walgreens as my prescription provider (because of travel or other reasons) I have had complications where a time or two has landed me into the hospital! Whenever I have brought my concerns about it to them they always deny anything about it having to do with their medication they provide and they declare adamantly that ALL their medications are the same as what I receive from my medical provider.....When taking specific prescriptions FROM Walgreens all of my symptoms and reactions lead me to the emergency room or optioning for other treatment. Nearly EVERY TIME??!! Blood pressure machines feeling ill don't lie....It has gotten to the point that Walgreens is now placing a sticker that tells it is the exact same medication as the prescribed name. Why would they need to do this, if in fact it is actually the same? I am writing this review because it happened again and I just couldn't let it pass this time....felt the need to put it out there to make others aware and to see if any other person has experienced this. Walgreens pharmacy, please stop cutting corners and make sure you provide your customers with proper quality prescription product, our families depend on us and we not only love your service and convenience but we also depend on you!.... Here we go again, allergy season & my usual Pharmacy has been out of 24 hour Claritin D. Walgreens to the rescue. Plenty of parking and right off of Fry or Coronado, this place is within walking distance of grocery store, food venues, and many more. This location is always clean and well organized. You can also get passport photos done here. Staff is friendly. Update:2024 Wife wanted some cosmetic stuff. Dolly was awesome helping out with the nails, deals, & options. The new pharmasist has accused me of being a drug user and delying my scripts. im not a user i take my meds my docs carefully give me as told. She refused to fill my ambien the first month until talking to my doc. The next month my script needed to be verified the texts who are wonderful ironically kept asking her and she gave me a look and said im doing this one she will wait finally the text said do it now. This month i actually was able to stop some of my scripts and lower one she made us come inside to UNLOCK the new script which in my 41 years never hear of and not from a safe. I am sorry she thinks i am somehow a drug user with the abiltiy to trick my two drs in to giving me meds. She has approval to call my drs doesnt. She is not my dr so fill my script or call my actual drs if you have concerns. Not all of us want pain meds or whatever else. YOU ARE NOT the one evaluating me and my health stop acting like you can. read more

Better communication would be deeply appreciated. Yesterday, Friday, during my 2-week post-surgery follow up appointment my doc prescribed a refill pain RX. Walgreens kept saying they'll let me know when it is ready. Never heard back Friday. The auto service twice reported that it was pending and they would notify when it was ready. --Well today, Saturday, they said they can't get it in stock until next week. --Cant transfer anywhere either. --The surgeon's answering svc said the on call doc said he can't prescribe it to me. --The virtual visit app doctor said ditto. --The Urgent Care clinic just told me ditto. Walgreens, simple communication to let me know that you did not have it in stock on Friday would have been great. read more

I really needed my prescription, and since I am unable to stand in line due to upcoming back surgery, I used the drive-through at 4pm on a Monday, well outside of their "lunch hours." Waited in a fairly short line (5 cars ahead of me) for 40 minutes and when I finally got up to the window, there was a large sign reading "No pharmacist and we cannot dispense medication without a pharmacist on duty." This is unacceptable for a large pharmacy to not have a pharmacist and to not be able to hand you a prescription that is already filled and not a new prescription. Had enough frustration with Walgreens. I am moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Every month i need to call to check if my prescription arrived. Doesn't matter what time or day I call, I'm on hold for the 5 mins cycle, someone pick up, then immediately place me back on hold without saying a word to me. The last time they repeated this cycle 5x which had me on hold for 30 mins. They were hoping I would hang up. Since they have caller ID I feel like it's intentional. I understand being unstaffed but when it happens on their non peak hours, it makes me question if they even want to service everyone in the community or just a select few. read more

Can't you check orders on computers? Can't you pick up the phone and ask suppliers? I see the staff always busy, Sierra Vista is a small town, I understand but, PEOPLE! Need to change the drive thru hours : closed for lunch @ 1:20 pm - 2:00 pm. Smile and turn off the lights 5-10 min before they are supposed to. If you need an RX, give yourself a 2 week lead time, probably still won't have it on time. Never have I experienced worse customer service read more

If you are covered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care program, don't use this pharmacy. The staff here doesn't understand the difference between Tricare (active duty military) and TriWest (VA). One lady insisted it's the same as Tricare-West. Ummm no, it's short for TriWest Healthcare Alliance and that's not the same thing as Tricare West. I went in circles with them and they ended up using the wrong codes and charging me out of pocket expenses because of their cranial rectum inversion. Just go across the street to CVS, the staff there isn't as hard-headed or idiotically insistent. read more

I have been a Walgreens customer for many years. I have experienced exceptionally poor service from the Pharmacy over the last several years. Recently I booked 3 separate appointments for an immunization. Each time they did not have the vaccine in stock even though the App showed available time slots. After the third instance I spoke with the manager who blew me off. Not a good practice to keep customers. IMHO, they don't care. read more

Worst pharmacy in town. Do NOT use this for your prescriptions. Always a long line inside, then after waiting fifteen minutes you get to the counter only to find out OOPS we're running behind and your prescription is not actually ready. So later, you receive a text claiming this time it's ready so you go back and get in an even longer line. After standing in the non moving line for fifteen minutes, the customer at the counter finally leaves. The pharmacist calls your name over the PA system, asking you to come to the pharmacy. You get out of the now even longer line to go up to the counter, but the pharmacist takes the next person in line before you get there so now you have lost your spot in line and are standing there as if you're an idiot. You might say 'But they have a drive thru!' No, they don't. They have two lanes, inexplicably dismantled one, and the remaining one is always closed. I walked out and moved my prescriptions to CVS. Worst pharmacy customer service ever. Consistently has insurance fill problems, won't answer phone, and could care less about unsatisfactory service. Trying to delay filling prescription because of "early refill" denial (by two days) and was on hold for more than 35 minutes. On hold is generous- alternating 5 minute cycles of Muzak, phone ringing, and manually being put back on hold. Not a good way to keep a customer. read more

On November 1, 2023 I was standing in line for over 10 minutes when they asked anyone who was there for vaccines to move to far window which was closed. When other customers laughed, as I stood in front of a closed window, I moved over to ask if that was correct window. At 1325, a female, long dark haired Pharmacist was the rudest person I ever encountered at any business. I was told I would not be seen without an appointment unless I was military. Which I responded that I was, then she said they would not see me unless I was in full uniform. I was in my uniform of the day. Told her I had two coworkers who were in the same uniform with no appointment seen a couple hours before, which I had referred. She said "we will not see you out of uniform" and slammed the window shut. It's too bad my unit forgot to coordinate with Walgreens as to what uniform we should wear for the day. Pharmacy isn't customer friendly. We travel all over the US and have all our meds through Walgreens. Some Walgreens are better than others. This one is at the bottom. On two occasions they have lied to us, saying our doctor did not approve our refills. When we went into the pharmacy to pick up the meds we were told 1) their system would not allow them to call our doctor for approval (he has no fax). 2) they had not heard from him (our doctor called them direct). 3) only one med. was approved by the doctor (2 were approved). Their auto-notification by text even confirmed that they had gotten approval for both meds. So instead of providing customer service they provide lies. Won't EVER go there again. I've always had a good experience at this pharmacy. Everyone is friendly and helpful. When I did not have insurance, one of the techs signed me up for The Walgreens Prescription discount card. She saved me a lot money. Prescriptions that would cost $150.00$l went down to $15.00 and $20.00 There is one thing I will let you know.... the pharmacy is closed from 1-2pm for lunch. And they do not open back up until 2pm after lunch. So if you are waiting in line at the drive thru around that time and the line is not moving this is why! Once they open... the line moves fairly fast. I am giving them a 5 star rating because I have always liked Walgreens for many years no matter which one I go too. This one is a 5 star Walgreens to me because the young lady didn't have to take the time to sign me up for the Walgreens prescription discount card.. read more

these have to be the stupidest people on earth. take forever to fill a prescription, and when you call in for a refill their automated system sends your call to someone who has nothing to do with this particular store, then you get put on hold for 20 minutes then it hangs up. hell of a way to run a business. i think more people die waiting for them to answer the phone and also waiting for their prescriptions to get refilled even on auto refill which is useless also. get with it people !!!!!!! read more

Do NOT use their online home delivery order. Covid 19 with fever ordered online with home delivery, after a whole day was told they don't do that? National site has no idea what stores do. Called store, they suggested I come down and pick it up, Duhhhh. Spent an hour on the phone to get straightened out, never did get what I needed but they did cancel the order. People very nice just system is broken or no knows how it works. read more

absolutely terrible service!!! my husbands doctor sent multiple prescriptions here so we called to get them ready THREE TIMES and each time the people who answered who turned out not even to be from the pharmacy said they saw his profile and there was nothing there. we had to call the doctor back twice and verify the perscriptions were there and they said they were and to ask for clarissa, who actually was a pharmacist. and the foreign lady who initially answered didn't let us speak to her until we got upset. when she finally did let us speak to the actual pharmacy they said they spelt his name wrong and that's why they said they didn't have anything for him although we spelt his name out multiple times. they had the persriptions the whole time. they are just too unprofessional and rude to look into it further read more

I have been a costumer of Walgreens for over 5 years. In all the other states I have been to, Walgreens has been awesome. However, since moving to Sierra Vista, my experiences have been AWFUL. The drive through takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get to the actual window. When I finally DO get to the window, the pharmacy tech requires me to create a new medical profile. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It takes an average of 15 minutes to do this but no matter what I say, they do it every time. They fill partial prescriptions but do not tell you that, and charge full price. The medication is never on time, my medication is sometimes filed under other people's names, and the staff is discourteous and unprofessional. read more

Like most reviews (even filtered), the staff here is basically friendly. Most issues are with their pharmacy. Not sure how many times they have forgotten to put in scripts, misplaced scripts, and misfilled scripts. The main bonus is the convenience of a drive-thru, but you're going to be waiting most of the time whether you're in the drive-thru or in the store. Also noticing a lot of turnover with the staff, especially the actual pharmacists. We do like Walgreen's text alerts and smartphone apps for refilling scripts. But in the end, do not believe it outweighs all the negative experiences (We've chalked up a lot of issues in the past to new personnel and really wanted to see improvement, but there comes a point when enough is enough). Will probably finish out the calendar year with this Walgreens location and look for a new place come the new year. read more

First off let me just say that the employees of this store have always been helpful, for the most part. Or at least cordial. And in this town that's top notch service. Also, the photo department will do their best to guide a lost soul.....i.e. mine, attempting to work their fancy photo machinies. It's their PHARMACY that is known, Sierra Vista-wide, for shady practices. Friends of mine that work in doctor's offices specifically told me to steer very clear of them, but I didn't listen. Instead I was nickel and dimed out of my prescription. The prescription was for about 90 pills. They told me they had 11 in stock and would have to order the rest. So I got my 11 pills, paid about 12 bucks and went home to wait the 7 days or 9 (or more) days until the rest of my 'script came in. However many days went by when I returned for the remainder of my prescription and was told they had only 12 pills..... and would have to order more. Bewildered, I paid my 12 dollars and decided to call my doctor, who's office chastised me for going to Wallgreens. I was written a new prescription, went to FOOD CITY (of all places), received all 90 pills for $18.00 a called it a m*therf*cking day! Steer Clear! A drive-thru window and 24 hour availability isn't all that convenient when you're being robbed. read more

They have all the same stuff as other Walgreens. Their drive through suucckkss. I spent 35 minutes in the drive through. They have space for 2 lanes but only open 1. There was 7 cars average in line the whole time so I'm sure everyone had the same wait. The point if a drive through is to make things quicker and more convenient. This one was not. To top it off they are only pharmacy in town that doesn't take ACHCS insurance by their admission. Went across the street to CVS and was in and out. No wait. read more

I'm not sure what changed between 2014 to 2018 at this store, but it's simply the worst. From service to merchandise, it could burn down and the town would be better off without it. I avoid this store if at all possible, but sadly CVS doesn't take my insurance so here I am, yet again, taking it in the backside from Walgreens. Today's lovely experience is dedicated to baby tears. That is literally the only explanation, which is that their pharmacist is harvesting fresh tears from newborns. How else does it take over 3 hrs to get two bottles of prescription eye drops that come pre-packaged? Or maybe they're counting every single drop to make sure I'm not skimping them on their product. Who knows but here I am waiting for the item to be filled double the time I was told, which was a 90 min wait. If anything comes at all from this, please Walgreens, set the poor babies free and just use the prepackaged drops in the future. read more

EVERY time I have attempted to use this pharmacy since moving here I have regretted it; I have yet to go here and NOT have a problem of some sort. They've dropped the ball on SO many different things, I would have to write an essay to cover them all sufficiently. We have been a customer of Walgreens for many many years and that stops today. The first time they screwed up I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and make excuses as to why things happened as they did. However, after multiple times of the same AND totally new problems that were caused only by pharmacy error, we are severing our entire household relationship with Walgreens. Trust the reviews and take your business elsewhere, you'll save yourself a TON of frustration and hassle if you do. read more

My wife phoned an order for 2 prescriptions ( automated ) and was told it would be 2 hrs. We arrived 2 hrs and 45 mins. later and we're informed it would be 30 mins more. We went grocery shopping and returned an hour and a half later and they had only one of the scripts packaged. Machine only recorded one. Another half hour and they didn't call us as we sat there. We had to ask after forty minutes. They need a negative star report. Mine would be a minus ten. If you wish to make a career out of waiting in a pharmacy, this is the place to be. Wait times for the pharmacy indoors and especially for the drive-thru are completely unbearable! No effort seen by Walgreens management to fix this place, only continuing lip service.
