I have been forced to do business with Walgreens on pyramid as SaveMart has closed there pharmacy! 2 separate time I have been on hold for over 11/2 hours and was the 3rd caller only to be disconnected when lit was my time! This location can't handle the business and they are very un organized! No customer service when they do answer or go in person. I had the most unpleasant experience here on Friday morning. I've told my friends about this weird experience, so I figured I might as well share with Yelp too. Anyway, I went to this Walgreens for a pair of sunglasses and some beverages before a lake day, just trying to do a quick in and out and back on the road. I located the sunglasses in thE back of the store by the pharmacy. As it was my turn to check out I realized one of the sunglasses didn't have a tag. I asked the young man at the counter if he wanted me to double check the price because I had no clue what it was. He ignored me. When he gets to the pair of sunglasses without the tag he tries to repeatedly scan the glasses (even though there's clearly no tag). Then he gives me a blank stare and tells me he needs to know the price. Ok fine, but now there's a couple people waited to be helped, so I ask if he can please help them while I run to the back of the store. Anyway, I discover that all the glasses in that section were $19.99 (the most expensive of the sunglasses in section). I run to the front to find that now the line is 5 people deep, as he had made everyone wait. I tell the checker that they're $19.99; now the older manager is standing at the counter too. The manager laughs and says that I could make up any price I wanted to get the glasses for a lower price. Seriously? If I had no integrity and wanted to steal the sunglasses, wouldn't I have already done it? Anyway, that made me laugh. But what was even crazier was then the manager notices some damage to the glasses that I didn't and says to me, "We don't even sell these sunglasses here! They were left behind by a customer and you took them!" Like what kind of twilight zone world is this?! The saving grace was a kind female associate who they now sent back to the glasses section with me to locate another pair. She was finally a normal person to talk to. Unsure of what was up with the manager and checker guy, but they obviously lack the necessary training. She helped me discover that yeah, of course they sell these sunglasses, but in typical Walgreens fashion, both pairs were broken. Maybe Walgreens should teach their employees how to do their job and not accuse their customers of lying. read more

Four days to fill a prescription. Can't get through on the phone, only get recorded "We're working on it". When I went in, they said they had received the meds last evening, but were busy and didn't get around to it. Then I had to wait an additional 15 minutes to have them sort it out with no apology. Last time I'll ever use this pharmacy. read more

Their pharmacy is inept. Transferred my prescriptions here over two weeks ago and decided to call today to find out when they would be available. They told me they had called my old pharmacy twice but couldn't get through and that I needed to call to get the scripts transferred. I called and was put straight thru, only to find out the pharmacy must request the transfer. So, they never followed thru, wasted my time and failed to reach out to let me know there was an issue. This is my second-most frequented Walgreens. Their customer service is almost always terrific (and only occasionally "just"good...never had bad service here). I love their sales, selection, and convenient location. I have never used the pharmacy at this particular Walgreens, but have asked for assistance from them a couple of times and they were very helpful. read more

It has taken many hours for a prescription to get filled. I understand they are under staffed. But it is complete bullshit. They didn't even bother to call letting me know that it wouldn't be ready today. The order was placed 5 hours before closing and still was not ready. I would NEVER recommend the pharmacy here to anyone. read more

This is got to be the worst pharmacy in my lifetime I'm 60 I love this pharmacy because of their ineptness went across the street to Savemart and I'll be damned Savemart shuts down and since my shit back over to Walgreens trying to get some medication well they didn't have my insurance I guess not from the previous time not a problem get in there they have one prescription for me need my Humalog and my Tresiba Tresiba has a problem no refills on it can't fill it OK how about the Humalog oh yeah we got that you go ahead and have a seat and will fill it right now 20 minutes later they called me up oh we're out of that will have it tomorrow so I said well I'll take the amlodipine that's already filled and ready can't check it out in their computer so I walked the fuck out come home looked on my Tresiba package there's one refill left they straight face lied to me I'm never ever going back I'm telling everybody these people are dealing with your life and they can't even fill a prescription fuck Walgreens read more

This pharmacy time and time again has disappointed me. The customer service is HORRIBLE! The wait times are HORRIBLE! They are rude and act like you are just a pain in their behind. I only kept using it because my husband likes the drive-thru. After this prescription, I am done. At least Save-Mart (who I am going back to) across the street hustles and will get you your meds within 15 min if your'e waiting, not 45 min -1 hour. They don't even keep you updated on your wait times. It's one thing if they explained nicely what was going on- instead they ignore you and chit chat with the other employees. The store itself is great. Pharmacy- no thank you. Don't waste your time unless you want to leave in a bad mood. read more

Their store is just fine, but I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy to anyone. I waited three days on a prescription refill, called to see what was holding things up, got a rude, short reply saying they were waiting on my doctor. I found out later after calling the doctor's office that they didn't even contact my doctor for a refill. Fast forward another day and I'm still without a refill after I know my doctor's medical assistant called it in for me. I'm beyond annoyed and never filling a prescription here again! Hey, I know pharmacy jobs are taxing and it's hard to constantly deal with people who are in pain or sick and cranky, but seriously! Just do your job! read more

The Walgreen's on Pyramid is the most friendly store around. The employee's in the pharmacy is beyond the courteous and friendly, they always know your name and work to get your prescriptions done on time or sooner. I was in the hospital recently and Mandee in the pharmacy always worked extra hard to help me in every way. Thank you Walgreens!!! read more
