Came in this afternoon for vitamins and cough drops. Extensive vitamin row, with two-for-one price specials for their Balance Rewards members. It was quite busy, with lines at both cashiers. Mine rang up my bill, saying the discount price was for rewards members and did I want to join. I said OK, thinking I had to fill out something. Becoming a member is just filling three items on a screen, took me two minutes and I was on my way with my membership card. They have plenty of Christmas gifts and other items. This pharmacy is AWFUL! If I could rate it a negative number, I would. I'm sure they're ridiculously busy but you CANNOT GET THROUGH! I was on hold for over an hour and then then phone hung up and I am a health care provider! HIRE STAFF! I cannot even find a corportate number to call to file a complaint. This is unsafe!!! Running a pharmacy is important work. People rely on the medications pharmacists provide, sometimes for comfort, sometimes for aid, sometimes to avoid dying. These people are not worthy stewards of that responsibility. Last month I tried to call in a refill, and used their automated service, because it is very, very, very difficult to reach a person. The automated service assured me my prescriptions would be ready by Saturday, but once I showed up, they had no idea what I was talking about, and had to refer me to another pharmacy across town. OK. We all make mistakes. Not a huge deal. Yesterday I call in a refill, again using their automated service (because reaching an actual human being is so very, very, very difficult). Recalling my experience last month, I try to call today to reach someone to confirm the prescriptions will be ready tomorrow. At 12:50pm I'm put on hold, cautioned it may be a bit to reach a pharmacist. I endure thirty-five minutes of hold music, and messages assuring me my call is important, and I'll be reached ASAP. Thirty-five minutes later, at 1:25pm, a woman answers and says "Thank-you for calling Walgreens pharmacy, I need to place you on hold," and does so without waiting for my reply. Five minutes later, the phone begins ringing again, only to hang up after a couple of dozen rings because the pharmacy is now on lunch. Please, for god's sake, take your business anywhere else. It would be safer, more convenient, and reliable, to purchase your drugs from random strangers on the street, or to scour them from the dumpster behind the store. The people who run this pharmacy aren't just incompetent, they hate you, and will treat you accordingly. They don't deserve your money, respect, or patience, so please take all three elsewhere if you have any measure of self-respect or self concern. read more

Last time I ordered 100 prints in the photo department from my cell phone to send to my elderly grandmother, who doesn't use computer or cell phones. When I got there to pick them up after they had told me they were ready it turned out their system never receives the order. So today, when it told me that my order was ready, less than one minute after the order was placed, I called and no one could be bothered to answer the phone for over an hour. Mention to the manager about this experience and he said oh that's sort of thing happens all the time at Walgreens. Really seems like nobody cares at Walgreens Not the person I want with my pills. Maybe the pharmacy doesn't care. read more

The pharmacy here is absolutely the worst. We have to get my son's meds here and every single month there is a problem. They never fill a certain prescription automatically even though they always claim they will--every time I have to call or it doesn't get filled. BUT they also don't answer their phone, or you wait on hold for an hour and half just for the phone system to hang up on you. I have wasted probably weeks of my life on hold with this stupid place. And then, when you do get someone on the line, often it's someone who clearly hates working there and doesn't care about you or anything having to do with their jobs. I've had pharmacy people straight up lie to me that they can and will fill something, only for it not to happen and then I have to spend an afternoon on hold just for the next person to contradict everything the last person told me. This has happened multiple times. It's impossible to trust anything they say because every one of them will give a different answer or claim that they will take care of something but they don't. They are rude and unhelpful and rather than answer a question, will put you on hold and leave you there til you give up or get disconnected. In person, they completely ignore anyone at the counter for very long stretches of time while they walk around chatting and doing everything as slowly as humanly possible. I'm beginning to think they're all a bunch of sadists who like to torture their customers and deliberately do so at any opportunity. read more

The cashier was friendly and helpful. The store is a standard size Walgreens with many convenience options. I specifically went in for a pain reliever and they were out of stock of a few options but had one that fit what I needed. Also had a good deal on Oreos so bonus points for that! I love the pharmacist and the technicians in the pharmacy. The on-site clinic is also great. They have been the answer for many of my families ailments and have even remembered us each time we returned. I have always been treated with respect and courtesy by the staff. This is a review of the clinic. Use discretion if you have things to do. They "allow" appointments, but they still allow walk in patients to skip you. 4 members of my office made appointments for flu shot & PPD, all 4 of us had to wait over 1.5 hours to be seen...EVEN THOUGH WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT. All of us had appointments hours apart from each other, and all of us got stuck waiting. Don't offer conveniences that you cannot deliver on. read more
