Pharmacist with an accent was extremely rude, short, talked over me when I tried to explain what I needed, refused to comprehend what i was saying because she was "too busy" to stop and listen to me. This was regarding an emergency refill for my daughter, a medication that costs $2000 per bottle, I was trying to ask a question about insurance and she practically just insulted me talked over me, and hung up. The thing that pissed me off is that I left a message and had to wait until the next day for her to call me so I could speak with here because there is NO WAY to speak directly with the pharmacist. She called me back and then didn't even try to understand my question, just talked over me instead. If I could give zero stars I would. My entire family has been using CVS for 25 years. I will never go into this store again, and may just stop using CVS entirely. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. What happened here was not just frustrating -- it was procedurally unethical, possibly illegal, and profoundly disrespectful to a patient seeking care. I came to this location to pick up a prescription for Adderall, with valid insurance (Aetna) and a doctor's order. Instead of professionalism, I encountered obfuscation, policy inconsistencies, and what appeared to be intentional stonewalling. I was told I had to pick up two medications together -- a claim that has no legal or regulatory basis and may in fact violate DEA and state-level guidelines. I made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve the situation. I asked politely. I followed up in person. I delivered a written request citing 45 CFR § 164.524 -- the federal right to access my own health records, including SIGs (medication instructions). That request was met with more delays, deflection, and in some cases, condescension from staff. Let me be clear: I did not walk in looking for a fight. I stated plainly what I was there for -- my medication -- every time. What followed felt less like standard pharmacy procedure and more like a series of maneuvers designed to avoid accountability. I now have the names and license numbers of those involved. I have preserved copies of all correspondence, prescriptions, and photos. And while I am still open to resolving this amicably, I am prepared to escalate -- including but not limited to CVS Corporate, the Florida Board of Pharmacy, the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), and agencies overseeing DEA compliance. I remain hopeful that CVS recognizes how vital it is to address incidents like this before they escalate into broader exposure or regulatory scrutiny. y family have been going to this pharmacy for almost 10 years and had a great relationship with the pharmacists, especially the amazing Angie and Eric. These 2 pharmacists deserve a medal. However for weeks we have been warned about the new pharmacy manager who is completely the opposite of what you would like to see in a professional pharmacist. I knew this was going to be bad from what I heard but it is worse than we expected. My wife and son were both so insulted picking up their medication that they already changed pharmacy and never want to return. I met the new pharmacy manager today at Walgreens to try to get my prescription And she turned me away and said she would get to it when she can. I can only hope Walgreens understands they will loose all their loyal customers when this new pharmacy manager has destroyed our local Walgreens pharmacy in St Pete. I notified corporate and can't wait to hear back from them. All my friends are also beginning to move to another pharmacy. I want to give Walgreens a chance to rectify this but fear that the new manager really doesn't care and will destroy all that our Walgreens has achieved with their previous great pharmacists. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. The pharmacist, Courtney seemed so pleasant on the phone. Then when I came in to see if my prescription was filled yet, she barely made eye contact with me and held up a stack of prescriptions and waved them at me and said, "well, hopefully I'll get to it tonight" as if I'm being a nuisance. I'm leaving for a trip tonight and now I'm leaving without my prescription that was sent in yesterday. I also called this morning at 10am and "Dr" Courtney said it would be filled today. It's now 6pm and still nothing. I even waited around for a while in hopes she might be able to help me. I asked if she had a time estimate and she just kept saying hopefully she would get to it tonight. Hopefully she will learn to treat others with more kindness but I'll never know because I will never go back to that pharmacy. Sorry for asking you to kindly to do your job. read more

Super busy pharmacy but the people there always take time to answer questions and focus on your issues

CVS pharmacy refuses to take calls from customers, its a new policy from corporate, you have to leave a voicemail, they never call back. Doctors office can't get thru either. Many people are very upset, changing pharmacy. read more

A well-kept CVS. Organized and well-run. I came in here for some NYX, but unfortunately they didn't carry NYX products. I grabbed what I needed and got out of there in a pretty short amount of time. I had several store employees come up and asked if I needed anything, which was nice. I'm glad this is the closest CVS to my house because it was a nice one. read more
