At the time of my visit, late October, they didn't have too much in Hallmark specific products, but did have a lot of cards and were starting to put Thanksgiving out. They also have lots of gifty items, like candles, stuffed animals, books, and Fascias chocolates (locally made). There were registers in the middle of the store, but everyone was lined up at the pharmacy so maybe I happened to come in during a lunch break? Parking was okay but hard to see the lines, so people were just kind of wherever. Masks are required in the age of Covid.

It's a small pharmacy, but it offers a really nice variety of all kids of things, skin care, oral care, baby care, supplements, hair care, specialty chocolate and tea, all the things are here. I love that most of these items are specialty, you won't find a lot of the items in your chain drugstore. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted by the very pleasant lady, and she offered to make me a espresso. That's such a sweet touch from a brand new business. They also offer juice or bottled water, if that's your preference. This pharmacy not only offers so many unique products, it's also the perfect stop for guests staying at Delamar who may not have an item on hand. This is most certainly a pharmacy, where you can pick up your prescription. I picked up some supplements, they cost about average. You'll find TALC in the ingredients in about every pressed powder item. TALC is a known carcinogen. Yes, you heard that right, associated with cancer. Talc is mined from the earth as a stone and is found adjacent to ASBESTOS, a known cancer-causing agent. These two stones are pulled out of the earth with big machines, grinding the gravel, which becomes intermixed with TALC. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to separate the two. When asbestos is in your house, the excavators come in hazmat suits, sealing doors and windows, and anything that came in direct contact with it MUST be pulled out and discarded as a controlled substance. And you ladies have been patting this under your eyes and around your face. Asbestos cannot be separated from the Talc in pressed powders, loose powders, lipsticks, eyeshadow, eyebrow powders, and eyebrow pens. No man would accept this and buy it. We women have to get smart. Look up your products at home on the website Environmental Work Group, ewg.com, under cosmetics. Read your labels. Ulta is a better source for cosmetics and is conveniently located inside JCPenney. By the way, CVS and other pharmacies say cosmetics can be returned, BUT NOT IF YOU TRIED THEM, so there is no advantage to buying in a pharmacy. So go to Ulta. They have better products, good prices, TESTERS, and a shop attendant who will cater to your every whim to match your correct colors. Lets stand up for eachother ladies. Happy shopping.
