Scheduled vaccination, confirmed by website. Drive over, walk in pharmacy closed because short staffed. No call no warning. wasted trip. Recheded appointment for next day. Because of previois days fail decided to call ahead and make sure they were going to be open. Was on hold for about 10 minutes so I hung up. Called back, selected store instead of pharmacy because all I needed to know was if the pharmacy was going to close early again or not or if my appointment was still a go. Woman answered, I said "I had an appointment with the pharmacy.." and she yelled over the top of me "THIS ISNT THE PHARMACY" and I heard a click, then a long silent paus, then music. Back on hold for pharmacy. Fortunately this hold was only like three minutes. Then I explained what happened the night before and was just calling to verify they were closing early again so I didn't waste another trip.She was very argumentative and frenzied, then asked what my vaccinations were. I listed all three and she said "we don't even have two of those". I was pretty unhappy at this point. I asked why they didn't see that my appointment was confirmed, see what I was coming in for, recognize they didn't have what I wanted and give me a courtesy call to save me a trip. if I wouldn't have called I would have a second wasted trip. The lady said "it's not my fault" and then said they are one of the briskest Walgreens I. the area but have no supplies (or had run out of supplies). Why isn't their appontment booking software sophisticated enough to match the vaccines I selected on their website with the inventory at that location? Total sh*tshow they got going over there. Buisest in the area, understaffed, undersupplied, frenzied workers with no answers, bad customer service, terrible booking software. Avoid at all cost. read more

This Walgreens has always provided nothing but good service, everyone I've ever dealt with was friendly and helpful, including the senior woman on the register who always greets you when you enter. I know this Walgreens gets ripped off all the time but contrary to what someone complained about, I've never been made to feel uncomfortable or as though I was being watched. Stay away from the old crotchety woman who works there..she is highly vigilant of shoplifters whether they are or are not truly shoplifting..it pains her to return a customary "hello" to her customers. I personally do not appreciate being followed around the store as if I am up to no good when in fact I am a law abiding honest paying customer. I understand the store's responsibility to maintain loss prevention protocol however grandma really goes unnecessarily overboard. Perhaps she would be better placed in an employment position with one of those rent-a-cop outfits. Lastly, I just want to say that Angela, the clerk who is usually working at the front counter gives exceptional friendly customer service always. I have used this pharmacy for years because it is convenient but it was always slow and the employees apathetic. Recently their automated system sent me a reminder text to refill my 90-day description and I responded YES. Turns out they had a software bug (lasting at least a week) so my prescription was not waiting for me. It took a couple tries to get my prescription processed, even after real humans intervened. The confusion and lack of empathy was the last straw for me. I've moved my business to Safeway and could not be happier. read more

The counter clerks are nice and very helpful, but the pharmacy man, late-fifties, grey-haired, was awful. He was really annoyed that I asked a question and reluctantly came around the counter to help me. The entire time I was telling him what I was looking for, he acted twitchy and anxious as he looked all around except at me. Mixed feelings. This is my choice for Rx refills as it's opened 24-hrs. I seldom go to the store, mainly sit forever at the pharmacy drive-thru. I usually kill time by listening to Pandora. I work in the medical field and understand when being short staffed everything falls on that one pharmacy customer service tech and that one pharmacist. Really lame, Walgreens. After I filed a complaint with their corporate office, the following day I received a phone call. It went like this: "Hello, Ms. W?" "Yes?" "This is blahblah from the Walgreens store in Tigard." "Yes?" "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" (Shouting loudly at me) "I can hear you just fine." (My phone had 5 bars of service.) "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" (Shouting loudly at me) "Do you want me to call you back?" Call disconnected. So I tried to call him back, 6 times throughout the day, and every time, I got a busy signal. My conclusion is either Walgreens is too poor to give these bozos a working phone line, or he just wanted to be able to say to his boss that he TRIED to call me. I just filled out another online complaint with their corporate office, only this time I insisted on being contacted by someone at corporate who is over the store managers. The absolutely the worst pharmacy. Every time I requested prescriptions and received "it's ready" call, but it's not ready.. actually they can't even find my request. This happens every single time. I would give thE pharmacy a negative number if I can. It was the most frustrating inefficient non professional staff I've had to do business with. A prescheduled Covid Vaccine, preregistered client took time to lineup, time to enter information, be issued two questionnaire in two separate events. Then it took 45 minutes to wait for the pharmacist to draw up a dose and call me. The staff were all incredibly slow to do simple data entry, then to wait For your turn which was 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. The worst pharmacy system business ever. Walgreen's Pharmacy has been just a series of unfortunate events. No flexibility - so rigid that it's just not worth it to me ever to use their Pharmacy again. Beside the fact that Customer Service is not their strong suit, it just seems to me they don't care. They are SO fixated on getting paid by the insurance company that they'd rather have you walk away without a Rx all together. No relationship with the customer... every person is simply an Rx number. Maybe the people at Elmer's Restaurant... RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET... should walk over and teach them a thing or two about how to be nice. We're from California - a place where Customer Service can be unbearable a lot of the time; but Oregon is TRIPLE AAA when it comes to Customer Service. But, not at the Tigard Walgreen's. So... tomorrow I have a new insurance company - and I will definitely find a new pharmacy. Any recommendations in Tigard? I'll even travel to Portland? Worst pharmacy I have every been to. Extremely short staffed with long lines and long wait times. I have been given the wrong dosages and lost refills are the norm. Customers must advocate for themselves to ensure refills are correct and don't assume even if your doctor calls in an Rx. Walgreen will even complete your order. My doctors have repeatedly told me they make multiple calls to this pharmacy and nothing gets filled. If you have an elderly loved one who goes to this pharmacy you owe it them to check their rx to ensure they are taking the correct medications as it is not unusual to have cancelled or wrong medications issued by the pharmacy staff. This pharmacy needs an inspection by the Oregon Board of Pharmacies. read more

It's Walgreens, it's a local busy moms favorite place. They typically always have a sale on something I don't need but end up buying three of anyway. Back to school and summer sales are amazing, buy it all for next year! The staff here is nice, I know a few of them, I'm in to much probably. Re: The Pharmacy. I advise do NOT utilize this location if possible. I live close by and have tried for three years to overlook the incompetence but can no longer. (1) SLOW -as in I have waited for over an hour on multiple occasions in the drive thru. (2) CROWDED/BUSY - there are always 5-10 people in line here so you can imagine how long it's going to take to pick up your RX. (3) STAFF - overworked apparently, but the staff have made so many mistakes I've lost count. They given both myself and my husband someone else's medication. - they've put the WRONG dosage in our bottles. - they've messaged our RX is ready to pickup then get there and they say oh sorry that's wrong it's out of stock today -- they've accidentally sent my hard to find prescription to another location 15 miles away and "don't know why" that happened. -- I am now suspicious of their activities. I try to give the benefit of the doubt with any customer-service/retail experience, and granted I was dealing with a lot of pain and emotional stress going into Walgreens- but I think waiting 1.5 hours to fill 3 prescriptions, two of which had been dropped off hours earlier is a bit extreme (especially considering I was told 40 minutes so I waited in the store.) If that was the only issue I had, I might've given 2-3 stars, but it was the attitude of the Manger and lack of communication between myself and the pharmacy employees that really ruined the experience and left me begging for my medication in tears at the counter. The pharmacy had gotten pretty busy and they had a ton of prescriptions to fill, so I completely understand their stress and having to deal with a ton of prescriptions with just the pharmacist and the assistant/cashier. I got in line about 30 minutes after I had dropped them off, just to see if the wait time had changed, and the manager Jim was up there helping a customer pick up her prescription. It was my turn in line, so I walked up to the counter and didn't get a greeting or anything from Jim so I politely asked if he was able to help me see if my prescription was ready and he looked bewildered and told me that he had no idea and that I would have to talk to them (referring to the pharmacist and assistant working quickly to fill prescriptions in bags, so they weren't available for me to talk to unless I yelled... which I wasn't going to do.) I kept waiting at the counter, then Jim moved over to the other register so I stepped in that direction thinking he might be looking it up or something and he looked up at me and said 'Oh, sorry I'm not able to help you, I've got a ton of my responsibilities to do that I'm way behind on,' and proceeds to take the till to count it. Clearly, a super high priority when there's a line of people both in the store and in the drive thru and only two other employees (not). I've solely worked customer service jobs so believe me, I understand being behind on cleaning/closing tasks and being frustrated when it gets busy and you can't get to the tasks. But it's a business, and any company I've worked for would agree that customers should come first 100% of the time. I would hope Walgreens felt the same, and I shouldn't have to feel like an inconvenience to the pharmacy when I've chosen to give them my business and could, and will from now on, choose from the several pharmacies closer to my house. After 45 minutes since dropping the prescription off, I went back in line and up to the counter but nobody was at the counter and I was feeling very nauseous and exhausted, but I was trying to stay polite and patient despite how I felt, knowing taking it out on the employees wasn't going to get me anywhere either. I was first in line, but was either about to throw up or pass out so I told the assistant that I was going to sit down and asked if she would please call me up when she started helping people again. A few minutes later, I watched her help 3-4 people in line that were behind me so I knew I needed to be physically standing in line or I'd probably never get my prescriptions, so I got in line and was told that they lost one of my prescriptions (it was a controlled substance so I wouldn't have/be able to get another copy- but I desperately needed it for the pain I was having) so I asked how much longer she thought it might take and she said 'I don't know...'. What kind of answer is that?? Please just give me a ballpark estimate so i know if I should just go home and at least take more ibuprofen and try to sleep. I was overwhelmed at this point so I just started crying, which was super embarrassing, so I decided to go to my car and wait in the drive thru so at least it's more comfortable and I don't have to be around other people. After waiting about 10 minutes in the drive through without any movement (I was third in line and after 10 minutes I was still third in line), I marched back inside, tears rolling down my face, and went to the consultation counter and asked as politely and apologetically as I could if I could please get my prescriptions as I was here an hour and a half ago and I am sympathetic to how busy you got, but it's very important that I be in bed as I was instructed to be by my doctor. The pharmacist immediately pulled up my account and was able to get my my prescriptions, which I really appreciated. I had a few questions about interactions between the 3 and another I had at home, and what the best dosing schedule would be since I couldn't take 2 of them at the same time as another, which he was able to answer very attentively which I appreciate, knowing how many things I know he had lined up to do next. I wish I remembered his name- but thanks to him again! I'm glad it ended on a positive note despite the pain I was enduring, but I still won't be returning here unless there's a management training or change. read more

Came here because the Murray-Scholls location was out of the flu vaccine. Waited a long time after checking in and then finally went to the register, they seemed to have forgotten we were there. The Express Care room where we got our vaccines was dingy and poorly kept. The person I was with said she had the most painful flu shot of her life (48 years) as the person giving the shots more or less just sticks you with the needle then pushed the fluid out as fast as she could. Mine was fine but it sounds like I got lucky. Avoid this location if you can. read more

I was waiting in the (Drop off - pick up line) to pick up my prescriptions. while people were checking into the pharmacy next to me to get the COVID vaccine under the (Covid Vaccine sign) a few employees saw me but did not bother to help. I listened to a lady try to pick up her prescription through the drive through. But the older lady that was working the drive thru window was telling the lady, her prescription is not ready for her yet. And the customer said she received a text saying it was ready. The pharmacist told the customer that it would take over 30 mins to find the prescription and to come back another time. Right when the lady drove away she asked another pharmacist how to look up the medication this only took a short time and the guy told her where the meds where at. But the lady replied "well she's gone now." I have been like for over 10 mins before anyone even told me they are not doing two lines and are only doing 1 line. I went to the drive through where I waited in a shorter line which was still another 10-15 mins of a wait. ( Don't waist your time here. Try somewhere else.) read more

I"ve had nothing but good experiences here. Reasonable prices, great pharmacy, convenient. And I've had superb treatment from the staff. Plus the driveup is better, now that they've gone to one lane. When they had two lanes going, they couldn't see the far lane, if a big car was blocking the view, which sometimes resulted in not getting the 'next' in line transaction. But that's fixed. I just wish my employer didn't strong-arm us into using Medco's Rx by mail. I much prefer the personal service of a pharmacist that *knows* me. read more

It's Walgreens. it's basically a medical discount store., You're expectations simply can't be that high. So what I look for is customer service, and I think what I get when I go into this particular branch is far better than at other Walgreens. I get help, advice, conversations, discussions and products that the staff themselves use. Thus, I feel confident with my purchases and so far have not had any let-downs. read more

My cardiologist sent a prescription over to walgreens since its close went in directly after i was told i beat it there and to check back, when i came back i learned then that the systems where down and it had to be called in, which at that time i was unable to do, could of if i was told this the first time i came in, but i didn't so i figured alright what's one more day, so i came back next day found out that it had to be resent to give it to them, which now since my Dr's office is closed i am unable to do today either, so i have to wait even longer to take prescription that i really needed to start taking immediately will never get a prescription ever sent to a walgreens again not when i need to rely on them for anything read more

I'm actually astonished to read these complaints. This a WALGREENS! How is anyone looking for the highest level of customer service?? As far as the pharmacy is concerned , when has anyone ever not had to wait??? I have been going to this Walgreens since I moved to the bull mountain area which was about 3 years ago and I love it. I will agree the pharmacy is always busy but everyone has always been very kind and I've always had great service. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy. If you are in a rush be realistic, so is EVERY other customer. People need to learn to be patient. I have heard customers yelling at the employees in the pharmacy , mad that their prescription wasn't ready, like you're the "only" customer they have??? I can't image any of the employees grab a prescription and put it to the side and say " well I didn't like that customer so I'm just not going to fill the prescription!" Chill out people, yes it would be amazing if you could turn in a prescription and get it filled in 10 minutes but guess what , that's NOT reality when you choose a busy store. read more

I am not being pd in any way to write this: I am a very disgruntled customer and this week's experiences at this store now deserve a poor rating. Several months ago the NY ST. AG(attorney genl) filed chgs and sought a hefty $ penalty for this business/s for false, deceptive advertising and overchging customers for adv. items. I thought then I had had the same problems over & over! I don't know why more states' AGs hadn't joined in but I will be sending a complaint to our st. AG's office. I use to be a major retail chain's adv. mgr in a lg city so I know what I speak as far as deceptive prices and practices. I am tired of seeing an adv. price for $ and then being overcharged at the register. I try to remember to check my receipt in the store but sometimes am too tired to do so, thus I have to make a return trip to correct the $ charged! And then I may not get the adv. price cuz I can only get the savings via bonus pts!!! That is deceptive. Yesterday I bought a marked adv. price item, only to be chgd the reg. price at the register. I told the cashier both of my items were on sale, but I didn't see the prices on the register display cuz she scanned them so fast. I thought the total was hi. Ironically all of the line of Olay Regenerist products were the same sale price and was marked on the shelf and the sale on been on for 4 days!!! There was no excuse for that error because the sale tag is scanned into the computer when the display is set up. But you would think I had no right to be unhappy about the inconvenience. Plus I didn't tell her in time to use my bonus pts because she can't see them NOR did she display good customer skills by asking me if I wanted to use them as did 1 other cashier(--which I appreciated then & thkd her at the time.) I added that issue to my complaint. And by golly somehow the cashier couldn't credit my cr card herself. Then the mgr has to be called and here's a line of other customers and it's my fault I caught their error! Shame on me. And no apology at all. So I decided if that was the way they do business I will make it less confusing for me; I just won't shop there anymore. One other day I picked up an item in the flier that was a coupon. I mentioned to the mgr the item was not sale priced and his reply was "we never mark our coupons. Therefore if YOU do not have the coupon or mention it at the register, guess what, full price again. There was a time when you automatically got the coupon price at WG's but not so now for the bottom line, I guess. Happy customers out the door. The company mgrs must work overtime thinking of ways to deceive customers with this gimmick ,this catch or can't do in a week's ad. Sounds like scam auto mechanics and sales. I have not had good results with the customer service at the RX dept either. But 1 pharmacist has corrected RX's serveral times for me which I appreciate in regards to getting a 90 day generic quantity for 30day price per my ins and that of most plans. But the cashiers never want to be willing to ask even if that can be done or redone. I called in another RX and specified a new dr to do the refill and it went to the prior dr whom I had not seen in over a yr. I told the pharmacist that was a technicality error. His response" well you got the RX", not the pt educated man. Accuracy is more impt. I realize they are a busy pharmacy and they have 2-3 pharmacists there at a time with lots of techs too so giving an ounce of customer service and satisfaction can go a long way....but they didn't learn that in retail school. (Another beef is a store "being out of an item" on day 1, 2 or 3 of a sale and maybe sometimes offering a rein ck. Not necessarily WG's in this case but just a gripe!) This customer out the door. I called and they couldn't even find my prescription was told "we can't find it in our computers call back later" and actually ended the call. Had to walk all the way over there computers were working just fine. And it was still hours late. Very unprofessional. read more

2 stars for being open for 24 hours. Otherwise, getting prescriptions filled here is an exercise in extreme patience. The pharmacy seems continually understaffed which makes for long waits to pickup and drop off prescriptions. Don't even thinking of outsmarting them by using the "convenient" drive-thru. It is of no help in reducing the wait time and I've even experimented with having my wife go inside simultaneously and found it can be a longer wait outside. read more

I've been getting my prescription at this Walgreens pharmacy for over 7 years. Over the years, there's been a significant decline in the quality of customer service. I used to be able to run in and grab my prescription within 5 minutes tops even with a line. Nowadays, I know if I go inside it'll take 15 minutes even if there's a short line due to the employees taking their sweet time or just appearing confused/lost. I've started going though the drive thru recently as I found it was at least somewhat faster... until today. I waited in the drive thru for exactly 18 minutes. I had no where to be so it was fine...but that's being said, there is absolutely no reason for it to take that long with only 3 cars in line. I understand a wait... but this just seems to be a very disorganized process they have going on. Or they're hiring people who aren't familiar with fast paced environments. I hate leaving bad ratings but this has gotten really bad. read more
