    OMG!!

I only come to New Seasons for a few select specialty items when needed. I hope they don't stop carrying certain herbs or spices that we use. I do love their banana cake in the bakery area as well. They have a great selection of food items for a quick grab and go for lunch when you are in the run. Not to mention the amazing chocolate chunk warm melty cookies!! Prices are on the higher side for many items just like Whole Foods.

Clean, competitive prices, samples galore! I couldn't be happier at a grocery store. (Especially given the spicy, tasty guacamole sample.) Mostly (all?) organic goods with delicious fruits including the honeycrisp apples and strawberries. Free fruit for kids while shopping. Vitamins and supplements up and down an entire aisle. Prepared foods for take away, as an easy lunch or dinner, or things like guacamole and chips for snacks or an impromptu picnic getaway. Friendly staff, everyone smiling and happy to greet and assist.

I am a fan of this New Seasons all the way around from where it is located, to the environment and the products they supply. My review today is about the florist department in particular. I picked out a couple of bouquets that caught my eye and a vase with a plan to just cut and arrange in the vase at home. I asked the woman in the florist department if she wouldn't mind just combining the flowers into one package for me, but she took several steps further and turned it into a whole arrangement with nice packaging and all, she even found some of the roses in the pack were not satisfactory in her expert eye and ended up replacing them with even prettier ones. All of this for no extra cost when this would easily cost a good $90+ somewhere else. I am very pleased with the level of service at this location and will come back for my next flower purchase.

This is one of my favorite New Seasons locations since everything is always so well put together and shopping seems to flow better. I get some great coupons sometimes for New Seasons and I might not shop there often but am happy to do so for a specialty item or two. The staff are always going out of their way to help you out also. Their displays make you really consider buying so much food and gifts. The parking lot at this spot, even with all the popular surrounding stores and restaurants flows very well also making it convenient to drop by and grab a few things as you need to.

The actual product received. Not at all similar to the advertised dish!

This review is specific to a Thanksgiving item, nothing against the store in general - attached is a photo of an advertised stuffing dish that my mom ordered. Second attached photo is what she received! She was mortified of serving it at Thanksgiving and brought it to the attention of store staff and was given some fruit to add to it to make it colorful...better than nothing but it frankly still looked like dog food and nothing whatsoever like what New Seasons advertised. I'm still astonished that she had to pay for this at all. Evidently the store manager told her they are going to report this to corporate. Who knows what that'll do so everyone out there should still be wary of the false advertising of the ready made dishes if you want your holiday meals to go well!

I like New Seasons and I think this particular store is outstanding. They have incredible people working here who are attentive, knowledgable and very polite. Great customer service is always a welcome addition to any business. My two favorite things about this market are the cheese selection and the bakery. I have been able to find some cheeses that I was not able to find at other upscale markets. The Leyden cheese with cumin was amazing! The Vlaskaas cheese was so creamy and had a hint of sharpness but is sweet. It was a wonderful balance. Their Emmental was great tasting as was the Mahon cheese. I bought a lot of cheese! The bakery has a great selection of fresh baked breads and will slice them for you. I bought a dark rye that reminded me of an Eastern European rye, although not as dense. It was aromatic and also had caraway seeds in it which added to the aroma and taste. The garlic Romano was good with a subtle flavor of Romano but j felt it needed a bit more of a garlicky flavor. They have a nice selection of humus with lots of different flavors. I have tried many of the different brands but the best kinds are the ones made in Oregon so buy locally! I like that they have a lot of local and Pacific Northwest brands. There's a chipotle flavored humus that was the only one I didn't like. They have a great selection of local and international beer. I found some great Czech and Dane beers that I have not had in years. They also gave a wine bar in the store as well as alarms selection of wine. Check out their prepared foods of your in a rush. There are so many selections. I love this market and this store in particular!

Grabbed a couple of wraps and sandwiches for a picnic and they're good. A tad too heavy for my liking but it's super convenient.

First, having a motorized cart that is charged and works great... THANK YOU. I did a shop at the 185th location an hour before their close for a one item drop to a customer. They actually said their restroom was closed - the one that that location requires to use a code to get into...like you can't even have an employee code you in. They said their restroom is "closed for the evening". Here...restroom right there, open so a person can use it and I was so grateful. And the motorized carts right there at the entrance open that I can access. Next up, I ask for something I am pretty certain they do not have but the employees actually get it - we are in it together and they are so kind, actually looking and saying they are pretty sure but.... I appreciate that so much! And when I go back to them to check out saying, oh you found that instead... Thank you for having such a great team and store.

I was like a kid in a candy store. I found a good handful of items from Hawaii that I was either wanting or needed while in town. If you make lau lau, I found some nice luau leaves for a very good price. It wasn't all stem, like how some of the store sells em so it was a plus. Extremely Unprofessional Behavior at the Poke Counter…read more Today my friend and I drove to Uwajimaya specifically to buy fresh poke, which we usually enjoy here. When we arrived at the poke bowl service counter, we were standing in front of the menu screens trying to decide what to order. We were not in line yet, because we were still looking at the options and deciding. We had only been standing there for less than three minutes. At the time, there was an Asian male employee helping another customer. After that customer finished ordering, another male employee (tall with long hair) gestured toward me and asked if I was ready to order. I said, "Can I get a mini bowl please?" Instead of confirming my order, he immediately asked whether my friend wanted the same thing. My friend was still deciding and had not said she was ordering yet, so I politely replied that she wasn't sure yet, but I was ready to order mine. The employee then shook his head and slammed the rice container, which completely surprised me. The gesture and attitude felt very disrespectful and unnecessarily aggressive toward a customer. For context, I work in the food service industry myself, so I understand that things can get busy. However, at that moment there were no other customers waiting behind us, so the pressure and frustration displayed by this employee felt very inappropriate. Because of how uncomfortable the interaction felt, I told him that it was okay and that I would not order anymore. My friend also said it was okay and that we didn't want anything anymore. Instead of simply letting us go, the employee shouted loudly across the counter, saying "Come back, come back! What do you want? Come back!" while waving his hand at us as if we had to beg for him to serve us. We had done nothing wrong--we were simply looking at the menu and politely asked for a mini bowl. The experience left us feeling confused, pressured, and honestly quite uncomfortable. We later reported the incident to the customer service counter. The female employee there (wearing glasses) listened and said she would forward the report to management. I have visited Uwajimaya many times and usually enjoy shopping here, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope management addresses this situation and reminds staff that basic courtesy and patience are essential in customer service. After the incident, we decided not to order poke and only purchased a bottled tea before leaving. We ended up going to another Japanese restaurant nearby for food instead. I'm sharing this experience not to attack the business, but to provide honest feedback. Uwajimaya has always been a place we enjoy visiting, and we would be happy to come back in the future--once we feel confident that customers will not be treated this way again by this particular employee.

I park in one…read moreof the ADA spots right up front but that is a rough parking lot - people really fly through so be careful. The front entrance is not a large one and the carts are very much nearly blocking it. There are a lot of plants and such as well. It looks nice but I just worry since people tend to just run right over people like me not noticing the cane. Luckily they do have easily accessible motorized carts though I leave it inside after using it in store because of the small entrance area. The self check (which was all that was open) is a lot as well. The great news is that it is a Kroger so you can use your Fred Meyer rewards card and you will need it because the prices are seemingly much higher. There are some great sales and they seem to have pretty great produce. Also, I will say that if you need flowers or things like that you will find some pretty gorgeous blooms.

Extremely Disappointing QFC Curbside Experience ( Barnes Road location)…read more Ordering from QFC for curbside pickup has consistently been a frustrating experience--but today was by far the worst. Once again, the wrong item was selected, and this time the mix-up wasn't just inconvenient--it was infuriating. We ordered a $28 roast and instead received a $10 steak. When my spouse went into the store to resolve the issue, the shopper's response was simply, I don't know the difference in meats, "If it scans, it's the right item." He then walked away without assisting further--leaving my spouse standing there waiting for help. He came back to say that's the item you ordered and walked away again. To make matters worse, when I called and spoke with Jasper, a supervisor, who was combative and argumentative, insisting the machine wouldn't have allowed the wrong item to be scanned and blamed me for selecting the wrong product. At what point does common sense and human judgment come into play? A roast and a steak are clearly not the same thing.SMH. I understand that mistakes happen. But it's how those mistakes are handled that defines a company's service quality--and today, QFC failed on every front. Rather than acknowledging the error or working toward a resolution, we were blamed, dismissed, and left feeling like a burden for trying to correct it. This isn't the first time I've had issues with QFC's online shopping experience, but it may very well be the last. After today, I'm strongly considering switching to Zupan's, Market of Choice, or New Seasons--places that actually understand good customer service and hire knowledgeable staff. QFC would be wise to revisit their training processes and consider how to better empower employees to recognize basic product differences and treat customers with respect. If retaining loyal shoppers is a goal, today's experience was a masterclass in how to lose them.
