Seeing Katrina, the hair stylist, is a piece of self-care that I won't sacrifice! There are a multitude of reasons I will follow Katrina wherever she goes. My hair always comes out gorgeous, making me feel really great and getting compliments. Katrina listens to what I want and gives suggestions based on my hair type. I can bring in photos and leave really satisfied, but sometimes I also go in with no idea what I want to do that day and she totally helps me figure it out. I've been seeing Katrina for 2 years (!) and I've done haircuts, undercuts, traditional hair color/balayage, and fantasy hair color (pinks, purples, teal). I'm currently playing around with the idea of extensions... Who knows. It's fun to feel comfortable enough with the person styling your hair to be able to try new things. The Salon Z location is great. It's right on Monona Drive, and has a parking lot for convenience. Once you're settled in, you can enjoy complimentary tea or coffee and snacks if you're in for the long haul with some hair color. :) Katrina's great whether you love to chat it up or need a more relaxed quiet vibe on any particular day.
