3 stars for the Walgreens on Bridge street open til midnight every day. Thank God because these hours on 17th ave. Are unrealistic. They should just close down all together. Because there are older folks who can't get around easy, have a fixed income, don't drive and need medicine every day of the week.... People do go to the ER on weekends and do need medicine! The cashier that checked me out at 5:57 pm on 11/11 basically threw the bag at me after checking out. She was extremely rude and unprofessional towards me. read more

I have used Walgreens all my life. However, today I am switching pharmacies. They never have my medication ready or in stock. I was told today that I could call around to other Walgreens to see if they had my medication in stock. Well I call around and I was told that they couldn't release what medications they have in stock over the phone. They said I would need to drive there to see if they had the medication in stock. I am tired of Walgreens and their ridiculous policies. Called 3 other pharmacies and they have it in stock. So if you want the run around and delays in getting your medication I would suggest Walgreens. Oh and a shout out to the Walgreens in Schofield for being rude. read more

I love Walgreens so much. They have made my life easier and so much happier. I found the love of my life here that's just the tip of the iceberg. My baby carlos has gotten sick a lot and they always provided the best medicine out there. We get food from here on occasion. This was my first time using their pharmacy and I was totally blown away by the service. The tech was very accommodating when I dropped off a pricey prescription for a glucose monitoring system for my dog. When I went to pick it up I met the pharmacy manager and asked about ways to reduce the price. I had some comments from a diabetic dogs group but no definite info. He spent quite a bit of time trying to find a way to help lower the price. I was so amazed - even at places where I was an established customer I never received such personal service. Does there exist anywhere in this great land of ours a Walgreen's that within minutes of opening looks and feels like they have squeezed way too many departments, products and impulse buys than is comfortable for the size of the store? What sets this apart from other drugstores is the combination of variety of things available with friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Nice folks! read more

Horribly slow pharmacy always. Disorganized and slow. They need to figure this out because there's no reason for it.

Affordable items, great prices on toys, beauty section is very nice and good a variety. Staff seems friendly, just like a corner store should. They have several Red Box machines outside for movie rentals and since they are used a lot they have probably have one of the bigger/better selections in the area. If you watch for deals, there vitamins go on sale here and there for pretty good prices. One thing I do have to mention is the pharmacy tho.... The good pricing there and convince drive up, comes at a price... Their less experienced then most places pharmacy staff, might not know if some medicines have side effects with other medicines you take. So, if you take a lot of medications or are getting them for an elderly parent, would suggest a place with more experience. read more

Holy hell! I originally put in an order online (with a 50% off coupon)for Christmas cards with generic wording. I changed my mind about the wording as I just got married and we are using our Christmas cards as thank you's (In less than a couple hours). I wanted them to word Married and Merry. I called in and talked with a polite young man. He told me I could cancel my order and they could fix it for me (by the way during the conversation I opted not once but several times to keep it the same but he stated that they could positively change it for me!). Unfortunately we have traveled lately and my phone died. I called back and he transferred me to the manager cuz he said they could handle it for me, I then talked to the manager and she was belligerent, mean, and unsympathetic ( not in a way of telling me these are our policies more like o well your problem kind of way) . On top of all that as I was trying to tell her the conversation me and the polite young man had she seemed very unwilling to listen and just to interrupt to say he was wrong. At this point I got a little loud and probably mean (but like very politely mean)... like this very nice guy told me I could and now I'm hearing a different story at this point she actually changed all of what she said previous and tried to get me to believe that she was on board the hole time with my switch of text and coupon... all I have to say to any Walgreen HR is.... I'd look up this night 12/13/18 calls whatever guy is working and Manager...fire her and PROMOTE HIM! read more
