I don't normally go to this store as there's one closer to me. But my Walgreens was out of stock on something so I ordered online here. Pick up was so easy. I pulled into a marked spot (there's a sign) for curbside pick up. Open the text and click the link and follow the simple instructions. A Walgreens team member came out within minutes. He greeted me so kindly and by name. He was just so friendly, as if I was a regular. My items were in a sturdy brown paper bag and accurate for my order. My experience here, although brief, was certainly pleasant! read more

The Walls are more beige than green, I think I'll rename it Wallbeige or something. Usually I give these stores 1 or 2 because everything in them is so overpriced. But like Robin said, the people in this pharmacy are absolutely lovely, so they earn the store an extra star. It's still corporate and it's still obscenely priced so I can't really give it more than a 3 even though it's one of my fave Walgreens since it's near my house, jobs, friends, and I find myself in here probably more than almost any other Walgreens with the Main/Sheridan one in Clarence as the only exception. Every once in a while you find a business that is staffed by such exceptional people, that you rate every other business you come in contact by that business and by those people who run that business. There's Matt, Jake, Fran, Nicole, etc. My wife and I have been with this particular Walgreens since about 2003. There was also Andy and Mary taking care of us at this Walgreens location at the time we started here, who were also exceptional professionals. I want to make sure the following is understood, so that there is no doubt in just how exceptional these professionals at Walgreens on Main and South Union in Williamsville are... A couple of months ago, my wife retired about a year before she was going to, because I was diagnosed within the last few months with a terminal illness. It's not just my receiving a terrible terminal diagnosis, but with this particular illness/diagnosis, you become severely crippled first. I can only imagine in my worst thoughts that it's going to be a terrible way to die, especially the unknown of what the future will bring. I'm already losing the use of my hands and my forearms, with other associated medical issues occurring from time to time. So it's now, more than ever, VERY important that all of all of my medications (also per my heart attack in 2018) are filled swiftly, without mistakes and with people I can totally trust for my life and death pharmaceuticals and my wife's medications. These are the people I trust implicitly and my wife feels exactly the same way. When she recently retired, our retirement medical plan (both health and prescriptions) switched companies. The new medical insurance plans also wanted to tell us how and where we should get our pharmaceuticals, which would now be through through the mail! The mail??? I don't have to tell you how screwed up the mail's been these the past few years So when I started to apply for "drugs by mail", because that's what the insurance wanted, I saw how screwed up it was on so many different levels. So I made the decision to stay with Walgreens in Williamsville. With Matt, Jake, Fran, Nicole and the rest of the wonderful people there, I get the correct prescriptions on time with no mistakes. I can also ask questions about my drugs that are answered with my health and safety in mind Does it cost me a bit more to do this, over the plan that my insurance company wanted me to go with, by my not getting mine and my wife's prescriptions through the mail? Not by much, maybe another 12 to 25 bucks a month. But by staying with Walgreens in Williamsville, I'm with the wonderful, professional people who I consider beyond exceptional! Think of it this way... Some people who have the wherewithal to so pay for a doctor service known as "concierge service". This is where you live and if pay a doctor a set amount of extra money per year, so that you can get a hold of them (almost) immediately In any case, how is this any different? Just because I'll pay a tiny bit more a month ONLY because of our pharmaceutical plan wanting us to get cheaper meds by mail. My wife and I see this as an investment in our health. It's also an inadvertent type of payback, in the sense that we're helping to support the people who take such exceptional care of us And if that difference works out to 12 to 25 bucks more per month, it's a pittance compared to the care that is afforded to us by such terrific people. I didn't think it was this little of an amount of money until I looked into it, so I would suggest checking into doing your prescriptions with your personal pharmacy, over getting your drugs through the mail if that's what you've been doing and it's been nothing but a frustrating mess. I love this Walgreen's! Everyone that works here is always so friendly and willing to help. Today I went in specifically to buy a card and gift card for my boss for Boss's Day and to get contact solution. They have a great selection of gift cards! I settled on one for the Apple Store. Their card selection is pretty good too. I can't say I always walk away here with the card I'm looking for but most of the time I do. I also noticed they had a great sale on Opti-Free contact solution this week so I went in and grabbed a coupon book and used a coupon in the Sunday paper. I got it for $4.99! Best deal! These usually retail between $10-$12. I also found some other great deals on Planters nuts. One of the nice guys working there made my day when he complimented my scarf I was wearing. :) This is my go to Walgreens for sure! read more

Love their deals and usually have very good photo quality. Film photos take a week for ship out services. Store is clean and staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Pharmacy is fast and they are happy to answer questions. They have store coupons online but most items in the store also have those same deals posted next to the items. Red Nose deals are sales that support childhood cancer research. read more

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The employees have this horrible attitude about them. I walked in at 10:00pm and they literally were yelling at me to get out. I needed a card for a friend who just lost a loved one!! They have no heart here, no compassion, and no common sense (do they want business?). I have worked with this pharmacy for 3 or 4 years. The two main pharmacist are Andy and Mary. They are wonderful and bend over backwards to give you the best possible experience and help work hard to get you your meds. I have many severe pain issues, Hoshimotos and I am being treated for pre diabetes. My case is very sensitive and if I don't get my meds on time or as directed, I can get very sick and when involving my pain issues (8 herniations, 2 degenerated discs, spinal arthritis, thorasic degenerative disc disease, fibromyasia, severe migraines) if I don't get my necessary meds for that I am in bed unable to do ANYTHING! I would have rated this Walgreens a 5, but recently I ran into a substitute pharmacist filling in for Mary. For no reason what-so-ever, while asking a few questions on what was going on and she stormed over literally yelling at me telling me that the system I had set up for years, and had been smoothly working since feb. 9th, said "This is not how this works! You only get to use this insurance because your name is on it and we don't have a choice in the matter laws changed as of January 1st." I started telling her we had worked our insurances as such and she cut me off with a very loud "No! That's not gonna happen, I don't do this!". The poor girl working was nervous and I felt bad for her. This " pharmastist" had a bedside manor of cujo! I had just been in another recent accident at my house and was struggling to walk most days yet get out of bed. I went to my doctor and this "pharmacist" told billing I am only allowed to work my insurance by one only. it is not her call because 1.) This wasn't her pharmacy and 2.) It is up to the pharmacist on how they want to run my insurances. She had my primary insurance taken out of my doctors system and now my secondary insurance won't cover anything I need. My doctors office is really messed up, they have been throwing all these scripts the woman said was OK, because she misread my notes to my doctors office and now have had so many scripts put in and shredded that I didn't want to be flagged by my insurance as this is dealing with pain meds, which I don't take lightly. My doctors office is fed up and my pharmacist Andy was sad to hear what has happened and he shredded the other script I needed due to a mistake with my husband. This mess is going to take forever to fix and the humiliation for how she treated me in the middle of the entire store made me feel horrible. So to avoid being flagged I stay in bed wearing Ted socks to avoid blood clots and have degenerated to mostly walking with a cane, but pushing my self to walk slowly without on good days and take any good days I have and walk up and down my apartment stairs to get exercise. The whole purpose of my med situation was to treat my pain with extended release pain meds and have a lesser drug for break through pain, so I could get back to the gym and get into shape to make my pain lessen and to recover from a surgery 3 months prior. I tried one med I had never used before because the one insurance said I to be for the others would be considered and I ended up rectally bleeding and read it causes severe constipation. If the insurance people were doctors they would've known mixing this with other pain meds would make me sick. I am not a lab rat and will not try the other lesser drug to again get sick, when my doctor and I know the extended release she originally gave me worked and would go through my previous insurance. They would not give me her name or pharmacist or employee number to complain to the corporate offices about her attitude and causing such a mess she is making someone worse, because it her way or the highway nor did she take the time to read how Mary and Andy work my insurances. I don't give a shit if she is having a bad day, she is dealing with peoples lives here. I was a professional and even retail worker and no matter how bad life got for me I always realized, once at work my outside life doesn't exist unless there is an emergency and the people I worked with were very real and had their own problems. I was there to make their day better, give them exceptional service and leave being honest and with my best foot forwards. If I ever see this woman at my pharmacy again (Blonde hair, stern face, maybe middle to late thirties, about 5'5 to 5'7, fast aggressive walk, attitude and mouth, and appears physically jumpy and hostile) I will turn around and wait til my pharmacists returns. If she were to become a permanent fixture, Walgreens will have permantantly lost a customer! As for Mary, Andy and staff they are wonderful, kind, understanding and determined to give me the best service and savings they can. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed! read more

I love this Walgreens. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Nicole is great behind the make up counter! Always willing to go above and beyond. She really gets the gold star for great service. The store is clean, bright & easy to get in & out of their parking lot. Not always an easy task on Main st in the village! Always a pleasant shopping experience. read more
