This was by far the weirdest Urgent Care visit I have ever experienced. When we arrived we went to…read morethe window to check in. The girl sitting there asked for ID and Insurance. When I handed them to her, she said "just lay them on the counter on that piece of paper." At that point there was a camera aimed at the counter and a virtual person checked us in using that camera and a tv monitor. Why the actual human sitting there couldn't check us in is beyond me. Once they called us back to the exam room, the doctor came in. He didn't bother shutting the exam room door, made some small talk, then proceeded to look in my son's ears, mouth, nose and listen to his breathing. He then proclaimed he's going to treat it as strep but not going to bother running the tests since they're "unreliable." The doctor then left the room and went back out to the common area to order Rx and proceeded to talk to us from the other room and open door. No one ever came back in to tell us we were done. We finally wandered out and asked if we needed to do anything else and they said "nope, you're good to go!" SO BIZARRE!!!

There were no patients there when I arrived and they left me sitting in a patient room with nausea fighting back vomiting for over an hour after they took my swabs for COVID and flu testing.
