The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful from the check in staff, to the nurse (Erika?), who took vitals, tests and a breathing treatment, and the wonderful, kind doctor who diagnosed me quickly, did the needed tests and called in the antibiotics so quickly that even though it was evening , I was able to get started on them tonight. I appreciate this facility's staff so much and just wanted to give them a shout out for going above and beyond and being so outstanding.

This urgent care center in Thornton is a waste of time. The receptionists here don't know how to handle patients. They need better training. Here's why... Nostrils Flaring I was a walk in and no one told me there were five people ahead of me. Was only told when two people who arrived 30 minutes after me were seen before me. When I asked two receptionists about this their demeanor turned sour and rude and they told me "five people were ahead of me and different people receive different levels of care." I could have used that information at check in and before I paid my copay! Hmmm, I sure haven't heard snark like that and seen large nostril flares from other UC Health facilities. Bottom line: seek care elsewhere Lesson learned: I should have checked reviews about this location before heading there for care. Comments here are consistent with comments on googlemaps: the receptionists are in the wrong industry. Don't waste your time and health with this facility. Seek care elsewhere.

Fill out all available paperwork, scan insurance card, show up at appt time. Thorough and caring even though it is an urgent care. They actually have a regular doctor (PCP) at this same location also through a separate office. (I believe it's called Platte Valley Health.) Affordable! This urgent care only costs $130 for an appt. They also offer a free checkup within 72hrs of your original appt, if you are being seen for the same issue. I have utilized this twice. They offer telehealth appts also if you are not able to make it in. Open 7 days a week, 8 am - 8 pm. All of the staff, and PAs are very friendly. Cons - Sometimes it's hard to get someone on the phone, if you want to speak to someone. However, they do have a chat feature I have utilized. Due to my many medical issues, she did not want this surgery performed in a satellite hospital. Staff were amazing. Caring. Monitored my pain management all weekend. Saturday night was very hard, the nurses were in constant communication with the physician's. They came up with a plan and it worked. Pain finally stabilized I was able to get some sleep. And left on Sunday. My hands go out to ALL the staff. The nurses, Dr's, PT/OT's, MA's, kitchen staff, how clean my room was kept. My elderly mother only comes here because it's close to her house, but the lack of urgency and care from the doctors is unacceptable. They spend their time standing in the hallways laughing and talking while patients sit waiting for over an hour just to be seen for the first time. The facility is outdated, the communication is terrible, and they only allow one person to be with your loved one.
