i was a mercedes benz technician for over 10 yrs. worked at 3 levels of mercedes-benz service : independent shop, dealership, & mercedes-benz of north america corperation. i went to mercedes-benz factory factory training for technicians. walker brothers is ok for basic repair. when it comes to serious diagnostics they become baffeld. i recommend that anyone that has a vehicle w/diagnostic repairs go to a shop that specializes for the make of your vehicle. there are other problems wwalker brothers. wise to b on your p's &q's w/them, otherwise you'll b taken for you're money !!! read more

Walker Bros was recommended to me by a friend...a lady who was born in Roseburg and has lived her whole life here. She was right. They are good and they're honest! The first time I took my vehicle to them it needed a transaxle. They were half the price of the local dealer. The next time I took it in for a very thorough going through and they did the work that was needed but advised me that I didn't need a tuneup yet. They don't try to up sell! They ARE very busy and you have to make an appointment a few days ahead. read more

Walker Brothers saved the day. I'm a bit of a DIY guy and had replaced injectors on my Chevy Dmax. I had purchased re-manufactured injectors to save costs. After install I was able to determine I had received injectors out of tolerance but had no way to diagnose exactly which ones were out. A friend who is a well respected heavy equipment mechanic told me he takes all of his personal. Vehicles to Walker Bros. and they do diesel repair. I took my truck in and even though they also had some difficulty on diagnosing which injectors were out of tolerance they found them and worked with the re-manufacturer to get them replaced on warranty. Their labor cost were reasonable and they stuck to their quote. Great customer service and quality work. I will take all the work outside my skill / tool sets to them from now on. They do get busy, for a reason, and you may have a wait, but well worth it. read more

The folks at Walker Brothers give outstanding service. I had visited in Roseburg for a weekend and on Monday morning as I was about to leave my car started emitting a serious howl. Where does a stranger in town do to get a car repair on a Monday morning without an appointment? I was referred to Walker Brothers by a man named Chuck at a Texaco station, so not having many options, I took his advice. Much to my great delight, two hours after arriving at Walker Brothers I drove away in a quiet car with a new alternator. My car just hummed quietly as I traversed the mountain passes between Roseburg and my home in Klamath Falls. Such a deal. I have never experienced such quick service -- anywhere. Great place! My car broke down on the interstate and I wasn't able to get there till a few minutes before closing and they gladly saw me. Due to how new my car was and how specialized the fix would be they said I needed to take it to a specialized dealership. They were great and provided excellent service to the best of their ability. Walker Bros. Auto Repair? More like Auto BEWARE! They lady up front with brown hair and glasses is really nice and she was kind of the "messenger" otherwise I think I would have beat the crap out of the mechanic! We took are car in to have them work on the timing and when we got it back they had destroyed the battery and it had a tick (I didn't hear it at first but my bf wasn't sure if he was going crazy so he asked me)... Well we needed to make a trip to McMinnville but the car didn't even make it to Eugene before the tick got so bad we just towed it back to our house. Well we took it to another shop and had them listen to it and they said it sounded like a rod and to take it back immediately and make them fix it so we did. We took it back and they looked at it and said oil wasn't getting pumped through it because it was old... So my bf talked to them over the phone and basically just said -you guys messed up my car how would you like to fix it?- And they claimed they didn't do anything to it BUT everyone we talked to has said that most likely they put the distributer in wrong and so it didn't pump oil properly. I think the worst part was when the guy on the phone started yelling and told us to "Come pick up your piece of shit!"..... I don't care if the client is in the wrong or not, if they are yelling or not, if they are cursing or not it was very disrespectful and unprofessional. I have herd many other stories of simple mistakes they have made recently from people I know that I wish I had herd before I took my car here. read more

I can only rate Walker Bros on how courteous and helpful they were a couple weeks back when I drove through town on a trip.......east of Roseburg, near Glide my truck developed a noise emanating from the front of the engine in what I guessed to be one of the belt driven accessories, and with a modern vehicle and a single serpentine belt, I wasn't going to take chances.....turned around, drove west back to Roseburg and Walker Bros just happened to be the first auto repair shop I found. Well, Walker apparently has a loyal clientele and usually is real busy, wouldn't have been able to fit me in for several days! I explained that I wasn't local, and was familiar with local businesses, and the lady behind the counter proceeded to call two other places for me! The first place was just as busy, but the second place they recommended, Mobile Tune had room for me immediately, and I got the truck fixed quickly. So, while Walker didn't service my vehicle, I've got to give these folks a full 5 stars for being SO exceptionally helpful to someone who wasn't going to spend a dime in there shop, very few businesses treat you this kindly. It's unlikely I will ever need auto service again in Roseburg, but I'm quite impressed by how these folks treat the public! read more
