She went on to explain she is a (for profit business) ... isn't every business???? We spent $6500 first time around,, then a $1000.00 more. Just has to make profit both times?????? If this has never happened before then why not make an exception and give up a little profit on the claim and treat locals understandably?? I begged to agree with $900.00. NOPE no way. $100.00 bucks and I wouldn't be writing this........................ My husband put on the movie and it kept cutting in and out like the connection was off. So my husband tried to see if he could get it to work but it would not stay connected. Then it started making a popping sound and my husband started to really worry. We have a 2 year old and was concerned of a potential fire hazard. He called warranty immediately. They said they would call us the next day. My husband went to work and I was home with my 2 year old and was trying to just use the recliner and it got stuck in the reclining position so I called my husband at work and he had me unplug and plug it back in and was finally able to get it down. I told my husband I don't trust this couch to last. I want it out of our house. It's not safe. So my husband called Roy at bob Mills to tell him we don't trust this couch and at the time we were just going to go with a different couch from them until I guess the staff was mad and just kept telling my husband this has never happened before and trying to tell us we had to go through service. But I had already looked into the couches at bob mills. If you read on yelp. This is not uncommon. This has happened a lot. He then told my husband we had to pay a 10% restocking fee and we have to pay for them to come pick it up. My husband argued back you sold us junk and we only had it one day. Before we had to call about your faulty couch. Mind you we videoed it all and had proof there was something wrong with this couch. I guess Roy just said rules are rules and can't break them for us. I guess I've never had to return furniture before I never knew this is how a big company does business. We are out hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it. What a waste of time and money. They were nice prizes. Problem...we were told to wait on an e-mail that will be sent to claim the prize. 6weeks later never came, called & was told to check e-mail in 2 more weeks. It never arrived. Called the store about 4 more times & was given several excuses. "I was on the wrong promotion & should have had something mailed, not e-mailed to receive the prize." Decided to give it one more try... Called the store in January & the Store manager did call me back that day, said she needed to look into it & would call us next week. That was 3 weeks ago. I thought if they can't honor a simple promotion, why to trust them to honor anything they try to sell you along with your purchase.
