Most of the time they have exactly what we need and without fail there seems to always be someone available to help you find it as soon as you walk in the door without the endless searching on your own. My wife is happy to go here when we are in the middle of a project and realize we need more of or are missing something that we need to finish instead of having to stop and go elsewhere myself.

It's basically now a gift and craft shop selling souvenirs, local food/snacks, and local artisan crafts. The staff is super nice, and when we said it was our first time visiting they told us all about the history of the building. Most of the furnishings inside are original including the floors, shelving, cash register and an elevator shaft! This place was so cool and is definitely a must visit in downtown Huntsville! They are not 100% volunteer staffed anymore, at least one person is on the payroll.
