Sierra Plumbing installed a new gas line, a couple of tankless water heaters, and a heating stove in our vacation house. Prior giving the job to Sierra, I got a few estimates from other companies. Rob was very honest, and was the only one who gave me a very detailed estimate with a high-low figure depending on what they could find while digging the trench. He also was very knowledgeable, and explained exactly how he was planning to do the job. Rob and Erin sent us pictures and informed us about the progress of the job. After checking the results, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship and attention of detail. They left the work site in a perfect condition, which is amazing given the large trench they dug for the gas line. The installation of the waterheaters is pretty neat; you can see the attention to detail on the smooth soldering of the junctions, or the routing of the exhaust. I am extremely satisfied with Sierra Plumbing, and there is not doubt in my mind that I will call them for any future plumbing jobs. read more

Absolute saviors each and everytime we have had an issue. Rat ate through our water line, called them up and they were there same day. Water heater went out, they came out the next morning replaced it. A few other times had issues with leaks and all it took was a phone call and they were on it. They are are GREAT. I have a rental cabin in Pine Mountain Lake and my clenaing crew reported that my sink had a leak. I called them and they answer on the first ring. They apologized that they couldn't get out that day but could the next. Fine my next guests weren't coming until Friday and this is Tuesday. I also had a slow drain in my shower that I asked them to take a look at as well. Steve called me when he got the cabin, it is a rental so I wasn't there. He quickly diagnosed the sink issue but also told me the disposal was shot. I asked if he could take care of that as well, which he said he could the next day. He got that job done, but also proactively looked at my hoses behind my washer and saw they were not in good shape. He saved me a potential flood later on. I just spoke to Erin at Walker's and her professionalism reminded me that I needed to write this review. Walker's is a trustworthy plumbing company who is honest and straight forward. We have trusted them with 2 jobs so far and will call them again with any other plumbing problems. We moved to Sonora in Feb 2020 and had some well issues. Mr Walker came out and tested our water, fixed our OLD water conditioner issues and put in a new filter. Our water is great now. When we had leaks with our pool pipes this summer, they came out and surveyed the problem & got us on the schedule for the following week. They fixed the leaks in 2 days even though it meant trenching down 1 side of the 33' pool. They also had us turn on the pool pump and tested the pipes before back filling the trenching. Efficient and through. I recommend Walker's for any kind of house and pool plumbing problem or a well water issue. The office communicates well. The men doing the on site work are professional and courteous. Mr. Walker is an experience owner who knows his stuff. Call them. read more

Soooo to continue. I personally troubleshoot the so-called cracked pipe. I cut a piece of the 1 1/2 drain so I could get a direct shot. I ran the proper sized snake and hit the stoppage. I took a metal tool (like a rod) and place into the pipe. I was sure I found the plumbers bit jammed into the pipe. I took a chance and hammered on the rod ... low and behold it broke free and fell into the main line. There is a check-valve just outside the home, which you can see the flow of sewage and an entry point fo run a 3" rooter. A toilet was flushed with some toilet paper so i could see if [their] bit would show up. I think it may have gone through before I could get back to observe. However; the mainline and the 1 1/2 line flowed freely. There was no crack in the pipe. Walker's plumber somehow jammed the bit on some roots and it broke off. Shows me that they must not take good care of their equipment. Having cleared the pipe, I called Walker's to tell them what I had to do. I told them that owe my friend a refund for the hours wasted by their plumber tor hours she was charged. SHe has not seen any money returned; not even an apology. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ... THEY ARE IN IT FOR THE MONEY WHETHER THEY DO THE JOB OR NOT! read more

HANDS DOWN THE BEST!!! My house flooded 2 days before Christmas. Water running out of all of the light fixtures downstairs. It was a disaster and I was in a panic. I called plumbers around my area and couldn't get any out quick enough. I found Sierra Plumbings info and gave them a call. Rob was very polite on the phone and told me "don't worry we'll find the problem am get it fixed" He was at my house in an hour and 1/2. He identified the problem. A cracked valve, in the tank of the toilet. Rob and Brett came back took care of the problem! They finished the job installing all the new toilets, vanities, faucets and a new tankless water heater and I couldn't have been any happier! Very disappointed with Sierra Plumbing. We had a bad leak in our guest house which flooded the floor. We called sierra plumbing and they came out and said it was not a plumbing leak but the roof was leaking. We turned off all the water going into the house and the leak stopped. We turned the water back on and the leak started again. They charged us $177.00 for doing NOTHING. We called another plumbing company and they found the leak in the pipe right away and fixed it. I cannot recommend sierra plumbing at all they obviously they do not know how to fix a leak and then charge you for doing nothing. read more

Erin was able to get us in early the next morning and even tried to guide me (on phone) to get the washing machine through spin cycle. She really went the extra mile. I have used them at 5 locations to the tine of thousands of $ because of few other option in groveland. I filed a complaint with the licensing bureau about unethical behavior and billing. In a nitshell, I was always told they would come the next day but they would not come or call. My last was a water heater being out at a vacation rental so I had to cancel renters each day. Monday became Thursday when they showed up. They were to come back Friday with part which was Saturday. I was charged overtime of $150. The prior time I needed faucets installed and it dragged on all week until Friday and was charged overine again . (He left at 4:30). And I had discussions about hourly rates with Rob, owner, and was told I'd be billed $80 per hour. So I needed some sink faucets installed. Scott came with a trainee and was there 4.5 hours. My bill ended up being $288 per hour. Repeated emails and calls do no good. I'm switching to Parrot Plumbing. read more

Overcharge and unknown charge. This company charged me $561 for fixing one leak in our house. Prior to the plumber arrival, I already had this leak identified, exposed, and the surrounding area cleared out. Scott, the plumber, gave me a quote for $430 for the job. When I asked what the extra charge was for, he said, for extra time and overtime. From my phone record, on March 12th of 2018, he talked to me at 2:57 PM to give me the quote. He talked to me again at 4:31 PM to report that he finished the job. I figured he did the job in less than 2 hours. What is the extra time and overtime coming from? FYI, I called to make appointment 4 days prior to his service. There were 4 more problems with our plumbing. He saw them and recommended that I should have the entire plumbing system in the house replaced. The next day he called me back and told me that I should call my home insurance because it is too big of a job. I was very worried and called a licensed contractor. The contractor fixed everything for $690. What is wrong with this company? It was my first time having to deal with this. Lesson learned. Don't make the same mistake as I did.
