Appointment made two months in advance, Joe Walker never showed up nor did we get a call. We called the day before to discuss the probability of rain and what they do if rain does occur. Joe called back and left a message saying we could reschedule or keep our scheduled one. We called letting them know we would be keeping the schedule intact and ask for a return call. No call. so we called again to confirm....no answer nor call back. We proceeded to prepare house for them by clearing all windows areas. They are efficient, thorough and never leave a mess of drops behind them. We highly recommend them. Used them multiple times and had referred them on several occasions. The last time I hired them for my new house. They seemed irritated and frustrated about doing the job. Only had time to do half the windows (2 hrs max) charged me over $500 and then wouldn't return any of my messages to come back and do the remaining windows (for an additional charge). Even attempted to reach out to them a few months later to do mine and my family's homes again and once again they didn't respond. They had always been good up to this point and it was hard to believe it was the same guy who was now super short, rude on the job and then unprofessional not returning my messages after. Called and they came out, provided an reasonable estimate but very busy and difficult to get scheduled before my Open House. Joe called back with a 7am Sunday opening that I took. Joe and Andrew have been washing our windows for approximately eight years. I had to schedule about eight weeks out, yes they're that busy and in demand no doubt because they are very good at what they do and extremely reasonable. They did all my windows inside and out, cleaned the track thoroughly and washed all the screens before putting them back up. Some of our back windows are 30 ft high and our home sets on unlevel ground so ladders had to be used. They work together very well and are always careful about moving items in front of our windows and carefully replacing them when they are through. They remove their shoes when coming inside. They're quiet and fast and did all 27 windows in a little over an hour. They are courteous, professional and always on time. Joe even called the night before to remind me of my appointment. They also do gutter cleaning which we will be using them this fall for that task. I can't recommend them enough! read more

We have had our windows cleaned by Walkers for many years and the continue to please. They are very professional, take care around our personal items and put things back in place. The screens are clean and they even swap out our sunscreens in the spring/fall. Our windows our streak-free and they even clean the tracks and the sill between the shutter and the window. Posted 8/18/14 : Well, as we all know, Groupon's, Living social and even Amazon Local deals can be a bit of a risk. It took a while to schedule the appt, but once we did, I couldn't wait. Was excited to have some of my windows professionally done. And probably would have used them again for other parts of the house - had they know how to act professionally. Long story short - two young guys, VERY rude, unprofessional and clearly don't know how to run a business. I didn't end up using them and Amazon Local refunded me. Use at your own risk. p.s. I was REALLY looking forward to getting not just the window panes cleaned, but also the window tracks. After all, I do look at them... Two guys showed up right on time and they removed the screens from my windows to clean them, and yes they cleaned the windows and the window panes are clean now, however, not all the screens were put back securely in the clasp/ holder. A few screens are left hanging OUT... Also, one of my windows was missing a screen which the left by the side of the house. Lastly, they just took off without telling me they were done... Okay that wasn't the last thing, I apologize, but are the window tracks not part of the window? I wish they would tell me up front, hey if you want your window tracks cleaned, it's not covered by the amazon local deal. I was looking forward to have the house fully cleaned and would definitely have been happy to pay extra to have my window tracks cleaned. I felt like they were trying to get the job done quick and FAST to move on to the next house. I really wanted the full experience of REALLY clean windows. read more

These guys were very professional young men. I found them through Sacramento DealSaver. They operate out of Auburn, but will travel up to 35 miles. They showed up promptly, did all of my windows is less than an hour, and were very neat. They even took their shoes off inside so as not to track mud! Just redeemed a Living Social deal for window cleaning. These guys are amazing! They showed up 15 minutes early, quickly got to work and finished my 36 windows in one hour. The windows are streak free, the screens have all been cleaned along with the outside tracks. I asked for additional business cards so that I could share their services with my neighbors and friends. I am not sure what happened with G.S., but before leaving they rang the door bell and let me know they were done. It was well worth the $64, so much so that I felt it necessary to give them a tip. Highly unprofessional young man, I hope he was just having a bad day, but to show rudeness and anger toward a mature woman was totally uncalled for. This individual showed up on time after cancelling the previous appt. He was told before coming that the house had numerous windows we wanted inside/outside/screen cleaning performed. He counted the windows (63 as double hung count as two) and gave us a price that was absolutely fair, then told us he couldn't do the work today because it would take more than an hour. We had explained the scope of the work and assumed he was going to perform it when he showed up. He said he could come back on the Saturday but we had scheduled him for today after having had him cancel already once. We asked why he couldn't re-arrange his schedule to do the job, he became visibly angry at the mature female and told her "I can't do it today and I wouldn't want to do it for you anyway!" He went from zero to angry in a heartbeat and was totally inappropriate. Buyer beware. read more

I would NEVER hire Walker's again! Walker's did a nice job on the windows, however, I found their business practice to be a highly unethical "bait and switch" operation. I purchased a Living Social deal to have Walker's clean my windows and I am VERY UNHAPPY with both!!! The deal and voucher stated that it covered "one story windows up to 2500 sq ft." Neither voucher nor "fine print" even hint that this deal covered "outside ONLY." In addition, Walker's did not disclose this when I made my appointment. When someone hires window washers, they expect to have both inside and outside washed and in my experience, prices are ALWAYS quoted this way. When Walker's arrived they THEN informed me that the voucher only covered the outside and that it would be $80 for both inside. Since I had already paid for the voucher and needed to have my windows cleaned, I felt that I had no choice but to pay the extra for the insides. When they finished, they said it would be an additional $40 (making the total $84 rather than $80 they originally said... like there's "no difference" between $80 and $84). I felt like I was "snookered" a second time! So, if you like dealing with a company that makes you feel like you were taken advantage of, you'll love working with Walker's!! Buyer beware!! read more
