Nancy first of all was gracious enough to take on the task of caring for Piggie who we dearly love as he is about 5 years old close to 6 inches in length and yes a chubby fish who loves to eat yet needs special custom care. Nancy was very detail oriented and out us at ease with her knowledge, experience and expertise caring for Piggie. She wanted to do everything hands on so she would insure it was done properly and that told us she really cares for those pets she takes under her wing. Piggie needs a special blend of regular fish food and crushed fresh peas which is a little bit of work but Nancy understood and didnt deem it a problem at all. We enjoyed our vacation knowing our pet was in great hand with Nancy. We felt very fortunate to find someone with her credentials willing to stop in daily to care for our fish. Her rates are surprisingly fair and affordable and she truly treats each pet as if her own and that to me is priceless. The amount of care, love, and professionalism made me feel at ease while I was away attending to some important family matters. Nancy was very thorough at our consultation visit, to make sure my cats' health and emotional needs were met, and what to do in case of an emergency. I loved how I got so many lovely videos and photos of my cats every day. I knew my babies were in such good hands with Dana the sitter, who was nice enough to bring my mail in and took the time to play and engage with them--and they warmed up to her quickly (not an easy thing for them to do with strangers!) . Very communicative, accommodating, trustworthy and kind company of true animal lovers--so much so that I booked them again in a couple of months when I have to go out of town again. If I could give negative rating to Puppy Parade, I would. This is the worst pet sitting service I have seen and had had other pet sitters before moving to Rego Park, NY. After reading the online reviews, looking at Puppy Parade website, discussing the service needed with Gary and Ahmet on the phone, requesting a certificate of bond and insurance info, and finally interviewing Ahmet in person, I hired Ahmet at Puppy Parade to take care of my cat for 2+ weeks while we are out of the country. We set up a security camera in the apartment just prior to leaving the country for security and I am so glad that we did. The term of the service arrangement was for Ahmet to come to the apartment once a day to clean the litter box, feed the cat, occasionally water the plants and play with the cat for 30 minutes at 3pm everyday while we are away. 4th day into the trip (5/24/2016), we received e-mail notifications that he brought a girl into my apartment at 9:20pm even though he already came at 3pm that same afternoon and his business hours stated on the website is from 9am-9pm. From the photos attached to the e-mail alerts, he treated my apartment as a motel and had sex with that girl in various places in my apartment. I watched everything unfold in horror and called him and texted him numerous times requesting him to stop and leave my apartment. Finally, I had to call my friend to come to the apartment and kicked them out at 11:30pm. After I returned home nearly two weeks later and checked the video of the night, I realized he knew we have camera monitoring and looked at it three times but still decided to have sex in my apartment. He even played with the lights in the apartment thinking we can't see his disgusting actions in the dark. Worst yet, when they made a mess and had their body fluid all over my sofa, he told the girl "it's okay", which left several huge stains on my sofa. Since we were still out of the country when this happen, I could not possibly have Ahmet coming back to take care of my cat and needed someone else to take over. I contacted Gary, Ahmet's partner at Puppy Parade and requested him to take over the job. His response was that he can only take care pets in Sunnyside, and Rego Park is too far for him, which left us hanging with no other choices but asking my friends to step in for nearly 2 weeks. Puppy Parade is a very unreliable pet sitting company. I trusted them to hand over my keys and asked them to take care of my pet. Yet, Ahmet destroyed my trust and Gary did not step in to make up for his partner's mistakes and left us figuring out where we can find another pet sitter while we are away. For anyone who is looking for a pet sitter, I would strongly advise you to find someone else. For those who are using Puppy Parade, I would recommend you to re-examine what they are doing in your apartment while you are away. Good luck to all of you!

Every dog owner at The Overlook that feeds raw, all go through Robert and speak as highly as I do about his knowledge and pet savvy. He's walked my a few of my neighbors dogs in Forest Hills and his timeliness and attention to each dogs needs is second to none. I've seen Robert work with dogs as part of the training he offers as one of his services and have directed folks who are dealing with their pooches behavioral problems to him.

He saw some behavior to be corrected with Leo and he went right into training mode which was great for me as a first time puppy mother to learn. He also gave me other tips that I've incorporated into Leo's training. Leo's walked by Gabby daily and we're really happy with her! The entire business is run very professionally and they're very accommodating with changes and additions. I also appreciate their very prompt replies, even late-night weekends! Before the pandemic and during 2020, this business was the best. We picked up and started using…read morethem again in February of 2021 and they have changed, which is understandable because of the pandemic. It's not the small price increase as we can understand that, it's that they no longer provide de-mating service in case it's needed. So it's now become a wash, trim, and bandana for more money and less work. After using them for a year and being very pleased, we might as well go to a standard wash, trim, nails place for 1/3 of their charges. Sorry that we had to part company in this matter but now for $120-130 every two months vs $45 there is too much of a disparity in fees. I see that the owner states that we cancelled twice .... That's different and a new tactic since you set the schedules and cancelled on us. You didn't set our next appointment during the last visit and that was months ago! We no longer will be using your services and don't appreciate the changing story. YOU stated to me that you no longer offer departing service so I don't get your reply, and it just confirms more that we will no longer use your service.
