If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would. I hired Mr. Wallace to install a french drain in my back yard. I stressed to him that the main reason for the french drain was because my neighbor had dug a trench in their yard and were draining their rain water into my yard causing flooding. The cost would be $1,200.00. He brought in a back hoe and got to work. I thought it was a little crazy when he used landscape fabric under the gravel but I am not the "expert". A few days later, it rained and the fabric tore away and mud began flowing down the ditch blocking the catch basin and flooding my entire side yard! He sent his son back to "fix" the problem....yes same landscape fabric. No rain for weeks and then rain for a few days and a worse collapse. He now claims that "he has no control over the neighbor draining water into my yard"....What! I will be looking for a more reputable contractor.
On top of that, my neighbor saw him working at my house and hired him. He made a bigger mess of that job than mine.
Do not hire him! He knows not what he is doing. read more
