I thankfully behaved myself, and did not go on a wild shopping spree. When I finally made it to the counter, the person who helped me was very knowledgeable, and handy. He duplicated a couple sets of keys perfectly. He did not even need to take them out of my car key ring. The sets he made up he had placed in its own key ring rather than just throw them all at me, and mix the keys up. He was also honest, and saved me some money with another request of mine that I did not need to get done. I like honesty, it's a great virtue. FYI: Parking in this area is metered with high tech sensors, and camera. Pay the meter, or pay the ticket.

When I got home, I realized they had given me a completely different color. Mistakes happen -- that part wasn't the issue. I went back and asked if they could retrieve my original can from the trash so they could properly match the color. It had already been thrown out, so I took time to find the closest match from their color samples. They remade the paint... and then tried to charge me again for correcting their mistake. I was shocked. The incorrect color was not my error -- it was theirs. Yet they refused to take responsibility and attempted to make me pay for it. That is unacceptable customer service. When a business makes a mistake, it should own it and fix it without putting the burden on the customer. Instead, I was treated with complete disregard and disrespect. I will not be returning, and I don't recommend this store to anyone who values fairness, accountability, or basic customer service.

I had the absolute worst retail experience in my life at the East Rutherford Lowes. Went in to do…read morea propane exchange and purchase a few other items. The line at the register was very long. Half the registers were closed. No one had the insight to open the closed registers. After I had waited in line to pay, I was told that I could not have the propane tank in the store. Rather than helping, the cashier made me lose my place in line to take the propane outside. When I came in, she refused to help me. She made me wait in the long line again, taking care of everyone else and completely ignoring me. I finally had to get a manager to help me due to her rudeness. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars in that store. I have purchased wood floors for my entire house, window treatments for every window in my house twice, countless gas grills, garden supplies, misc home supplies. However, this visit has made me a Home Depot customer going forward. Retail stores wonder why people have turned to Amazon.
