This place is a cesspool of double booked appointments. Show up at 3:30PM sign in and notice the people with 2:30 PM appointments have not even been seen. What a joke. They will provide a lame excuse; someone called in sick or were understaffed today. NO your greedy and run people through your office like cattle. Not surprised you only have 3 stars with all the algorithms and fake reviews contrasting the truth. It's amazing you hold 3 stars. And if you're late you don't even want to know what happens that's another story in itself for another review. So many other quality optometrist in the Antelope Valley that actually care about your eyes and treat you like a human being and not a number with vision insurance that they can capitalize TO BILL on. The staff is full of attitude, a bunch of control freaks heaven forbid you ask a question as to why you're waiting in the lobby 1 hour past your appointment time. I bought two pairs of eyeglasses from this place. They penalized me upfront with a $25 charge for bringing in my own prescription. I paid $244 out of pocket for one pair and they billed my Medicare insurance for the second pair. The people I dealt with were rude, short, and went out of their way to be completely unhelpful. They made me make a separate trip to pick up each pair of glasses. When I brought that up finally, instead of apologizing, they tried to talk over me first, then claimed that's the way they do things there. Apparently they like to waste the time and gas of people who bring business their way. They made no attempt to adjust the glasses, and even when I made an appointment and went back just for that reason, I was told they don't know what I need. I told them I need you to adjust the glasses so they don't slide down my nose but still they refused to do it. I finally told them I'll just leave. so I did. Without them adjusting the glasses I'd just purchased from them for hundreds of dollars. An entirely horrible experience. I'll never be back. read more

I went into Wallace optical and paid for the nose pads on my glasses to be replaced. 3 months later the nose pads broke and when I took them back to Wallace optical they refused to replace them. Nose pads should last longer than 3 months! read more

I came in with spots and had my eyes checked after the first lady said they did not take my insurance than the girl next to her checked and they did ,They examined my eyes and noted I refused to get my eye dilated which they I did not and had it done even sat there for 15 minutes to have the Doctor come in and say all is well its just cataracts , So I went to have my cataracts looked at and was told I had a loose Retina that was a problem that needed to be fixed immediately they were shocked I was not told this , I had the surgery and I am praying my eyes are well , I can not believe they did not see this I am so thankful to the doctor I saw the next week and the surgeon who operated 2 days later this could of been horrible if I just thought it was cataracts and did nothing because their diagnosis .........If I have misspelling I can not see yet as it has only been a few days . read more

I'm very disappointed for how I was treated today by the new receptionist Mary and Eren I believe their names were. I came for my 2 pm appointment on time and they didn't called me until one of them told me to put my mask on at 2:22 pm and I asked her at what time they were going to call me in, since I have been waiting over 20 mins. And she said that I just checked in when I did not. I Eve used the restroom when I came in. Check your cameras. If the manager can contact me in regard this please I'll appreciate it. I have a baby and I can't be waiting for more than 20 mins to get call in nor to come again all the way from Palmdale. OMG!! This place is AMAZING. The selection is second to none. I've been looking for a pair of new sunglasses and happened to come across this fine establishment. I was blown away! They had Tom Ford, Gucci, Prada, Tiffany, Ray ban, etc. If you can't find it here, chances are they don't exist. The level of customer service was OUTSTANDING! From the moment I was welcomed in, Virginia made me feel right at home. She was very patient and answered all my questions. Thorough and vigilant care that ranged from, contacts, glasses, bi and tri-focals, and even walked me thru where to get appropriate care for lasik visual correction surgery. My adult daughters still get their eye care thru Wallis and we will continue to rouse them as long as their high quality of care is maintained. While I do love the eye doctor here, I have to say the service is horrible with everything else. They take a long time to get the glasses in if you order from them. Then when you pick them up, they don't let you in the office. You have to wait out in the hall and they bring them to you. They don't even fit them to your face. They just hand you a bag with your glasses in them. When asked if they could fit them they said no, you need to make an appointment for that. Seriously??? It takes a good month or more to get an appointment and you have to walk around for a month or more with glasses that don't fit?? I will NEVER order glasses from them again. Every other place will fit the glasses to your face and have you look at them to see if the prescription was even right before you leave. Very disgusted with them. Word of advice...get your prescription from them and fill the order else where. read more

My work gave me paperwork to get safety glasses. Wallace family optiwas one of the places on the list to go. I made an appointment I was seen by a man. I brought him my prescrip shin he set me up with my safety glasses. I also brought him a pair of frames to purchase my got my prescription glasses. But still no safety glasses 2 weeks later they finally called for my safety glasses. I picked them up in the parking lot war them the next day and by lunch time I had such a headache I couldn't stand it anymore I. Called tdumb I had to make an appointment. For the following Monday I went to see them. He said he made an adjustment to my glasses but if it didn't help there was nothing more they could do for me now I have a pair of safety glasses. That I can't use for work because they give me headaches and Wallace family optical. Who made the glasses doesn't want to stand behind their work and make them? I find them to be extremely unprofessional. I was told that I would get a call when my son's glasses come in in 2 weeks. 1 month later and many phone calls later still no glasses. Over the weekend I get a text saying it's a reminder to pick up his glasses. I go in to get his glasses and they say they do not have them, 20 minutes later and 3 people searching they find them with no apology. They say they do no make phone calls only send texts so keep your texts as proof if you decide to go but I will never give them my business again. I had a similar experience last year ordering glasses and should have learned my lesson read more

They were trying to charge more money when the insurance itself already covers it (they left because it felt sketchy and called their insurance to verify that it did cover eye). My grandparents didn't see a doctor so can't comment on their quality of service. They wasted their time and they won't be coming back. I was just treated terribly by the front desk receptionist here (I know because I recognize her voice). My son and wife recently bought glasses here and need them adjusted. My wife is having headaches and can't drive at night without her new glasses and my son's right eye is crossing and without his new glasses it will get worse. This place is usually so nice but I guess when confronted with stress and fear they don't know how to speak to their customers with respect. This woman said that they would "be closed for the next 2 months starting today 3/23/2020 and won't expose themself to the CORONOVIRUS TO ADJUST GLASSES!" She was yelling at me by the time she finished her sentence. I suppose this essential medical care is not important to them, at the least she could have explained it in a caring kind and compassionate manner but no. Second guessing wether we will be returning, and I suggest you do the same. True character is exposed in a time of difficulty and this place failed miserably!! read more
