Oh come on with the poor reviews. The Wallowa Lake Lodge is exactly what it is suppose to be. A historic lake front lodge in a national forest. Okay, the food isn't "foodie" worthy, but it is decent. The drinks - including a nice assortment of cocktails, are all well curated and fairly priced. The atmosphere is great. The back deck overlooks a grassy area with picnic tables and plenty of area to relax. Yes, the property is a no pet property, and that isn't all bad - especially as some folks are allergic or just plain don't care for pets. I think being a no pet property is great - and I am a take my dog everywhere person. I suggest going to the Wallow Lake Lodge for the Happy Hour. Get some fries, and then grab your dog and walk down to the lake off the property to end a great evening. read more

Despite not actually eating here, I still didn't have a very good dining experience. The staff were very vague in the amount of time that it would take to have an order ready. I've never worked in food service so I have no way to know how long an order of 11 will take, but I never expected to sit there for over an hour. After the one hour mark I was told that the item I ordered wasn't available and would have to re-order. Truthfully I was in a time crunch to get back to the other side of the state and didn't have another hour to wait for another food item to be prepared. I wish I would've been told an amount of time because it would've swayed my decision of whether I would've attempted to eat here. This was my first visit to wallowa lake state park. read more

We haven't stayed at the lodge in years since moving to Joseph (3 miles away) in 2015, so we are now locals. This review concerns the dining. At best our dining experiance has been just (3) stars, very disappointing for the historic lodge. There are two dining options, Restaurant side and the Bar side. The Restaurant menu has something for everyone, but bring some extra bucks. Our eating experiance here is from really good to cold food having to be Microwaved back to an edible temperature. The Restaurant seating area is typical of the era when the lodge was built, very comfortable. The bar seating area inside the lodge is fine, typical lodge atmosphere but with a bar in the corner. Seating areas for reading, Dominos or quiet conversation. My issue is the outside deck area, over looking the Park like landscape. The Restaurant dining area takes up 2/3 of the spacious deck and has the most uncomfortable metal chairs, literally grinding into ones back, Why? The Bar section has Andirondack (sp) chairs with a small table between pairs of chairs. Great for a drink and an appetizer plate. Definitely not for enjoying a Burger. Foodwise, basic bar menu; a little spendy a few bucks higher than a typical Joseph eatery. The staff is friendly, timely; not intrusive. IMHO read more

My wife and I went to the Wallowa Lake Lodge for our anniversary, excited to enjoy a rare night out without the kids. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a long time. When we arrived, the hostess was sitting on a stool and didn't acknowledge us at all. We noticed a sign saying the dining room was closed and turned to leave, but she then said we could eat on the patio. There were only about half a dozen tables occupied when we were seated. Our waitress brought menus and took our drink order, which the bartender brought promptly. Then we didn't see our waitress again for 20 minutes. When she finally returned, she asked if we needed anything else--despite the fact that we hadn't ordered food yet. We placed a very simple order: a charcuterie board and spinach artichoke dip to share. Another 30 minutes passed before she returned to say the kitchen was backed up--odd given how few tables were occupied--but that our food would be next. She eventually brought the dip, apologizing because it had first been delivered to the wrong table. Minutes later, she brought tacos (which we never ordered) and had to take them away. The dip tasted fine, but unfortunately had a hair in it. By the time we finished it, we had been there an hour and twenty minutes and still hadn't received our charcuterie board. I flagged the waitress to cancel it and bring the check, which totaled $28--for one dip, one cider, and one limeade. We're locals and love to support local businesses, but after this experience, we won't be back. Poor service, slow kitchen, wrong orders, and unsanitary food are simply unacceptable--especially on what should have been a special night. read more

If you like end-of-summer flies crawling inside your window screen and buzzing against the curtain, and if you like some kind of large beetle hanging out inside your room, then this is the place for you. If you like uncomfortable squeaky beds that slant, thin towels, minimal water pressure, and limited hot water, then this is the place for you. If you like overpriced breakfast with bacon that's got so much fat you can't find the meat, reconstituted potatoes so salty they are inedible, and a a rock hard english muffin, then this is the place for you. If you like a place that says it's on the lake, but when you ask how to get there, the somewhat surly desk clerk hasn't a clue except that you have to cross a creek somewhere, then this is the place for you. My husband and I had booked two nights, at no little cost, but just bagged the second night. We couldn't spend a second night in a highly touted lodge that made me feel like I was at Girl Scout camp fifty years ago. read more

My second time being here in 30+ years. It's much like I remember! The staff is very very nice, the lodge is spacious and the salmon dinner we had was DELICIOUS!! I don't think in my 66 years I've had salmon cooked this good! The entire dinner was perfect! I wish the lodge would've had better amount of their T-shirts. I had to settle for a youth size which is a bit tight but I will make do. This is my last visit here. I wish it wasn't but it's far away from where I live unfortunately. read more

Ambiance was great, and bartender and service were spot on. Nice to try out a historical spot with a great backdrop. We tried to get into an empty restaurant and they only take reservations. So we asked if there were any, but they didn't have a spot, yet nobody came in for 1.5 hours while we sat in the lobby area as a back up option, which was strange. We try really hard to find the positives when something is not great. The food, however was just that. Sirloin bites were way over cooked and burger was too well as well, both ordered medium rare. No sauce on the burger and they had no mustard so it was very dry. It was worth seeing the space. Good place for a drink in the lobby area. read more

I'm only reviewing the restaurant. We were there on an early Saturday morning. Not a lot of people and service was great. I had the special which was a peaches and cream French toast. It was AMAZING!!! it was made with homemade sweet bread and so delicious. It came with eggs and bacon which I wasn't even expecting. Wallowa Lake could use a little cool, and the new team in charge at Wallowa Lake Lodge are delivering it. They are eminently focused on hospitality and are so kind, special and caring. We arrived at the Lodge lobby to pick up the key to our rustic lakeside cabin, Sugar, and found a new fun, low-key bar in the lobby, and a fantastic music playlist of Lucinda Williams and Kacey Musgraves playing and a BBQ food truck with awesome brisket. Our historic cabin (the Lodge opened in 1923) was as wonderful as always. My wife and I first came here in 1998 and have returned annually since. Our historic cabin was clean and lovely--and at the best hotel coffee I've ever had. Strong. Packets that made 4 cups in our coffeemaker. I dislike weak coffee and this had flavor and it was wonderful to sit outside and drink, seeing the lake between the trees, and listen to the birds. Head housekeeper Michelle knows her coffee. We had dinner and breakfast in the Lodge restaurant, which is much improved under this team. The prices are intentionally affordable for locals, and the waitstaff is all so friendly and we met the chefs and Kristina the food & beverage director. The biscuits and gravy and buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries were terrific. Dinner of salmon and a generous salad to start was terrific, as were the desserts! GM Madeline and the front desk staff were delightful. The Lodge was purchased by a group of locals via auction in 2015 and this truly was our best stay in 24 years. Can't wait to see how Wallowa Lake Lodge evolves. Oh, and they have rebuilt and expanded the front deck, overlooking the lake and expansive lawn. It's going to be THE PLACE underneath 'the Swiss Alps of Oregon,' the magnificent Eagle Cap Wilderness Area, truly one of the most spectacular natural places on the planet. Two ladies were planting the window flower boxes as we left and were so kind saying goodbye. This is a special place and a special team. Please treat them as such, and let's support this magical enterprise they are building now and forever. read more

I cannot vouch for the accommodations here since I only ate breakfast while visiting the Wallowa Lake area, but I must say that the Lodge is situated in beautiful surroundings near the lake. The lobby and restaurant is very cool and has a cabin feel. The breakfast I had was awesome (french toast) and my sister's Swiss and Mushroom Omelet was great. We even saw deer meandering in the back of the property as we ate. Overall, I would say that the Lodge is at least a great place for a meal and would consider staying here on my next visit to the area. read more

Wallowa Lake Lodge setting is the gateway to Oregon's Eagle Cap Wilderness, the scenery is beautiful. Nine thousand foot peaks surround the Lodge and makes it feel so majestic and serene. The lodge was built in the mid 1920's and is well maintained. This is a typical wilderness lodge it does not disappoint. Large main social gathering room, large back deck looking over Lake Wallowa with deer grazing in the backyard in the evenings. During our stay there was music on the back deck twice (we got to see a future star make her premiere). You can dine on the deck or in the formal dinning area. Happy Hour drinks are super creative along with a good selection of wine and beer. The menu selection is adequate but not expansive. The food is well made and hits the spot after a long day outdoors. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and all that I hoped for. We did a horseback ride into the Eagle Cap wilderness and went on a tour with the Joseph Rail Riders, I would recommend both. There are many outdoor activities to choose from, boating/waterskiing, fishing, kayaking and of course hiking. Our stay was short, but you could easily spends a serious amount of time to enjoy all that is here. Joseph Oregon bills itself as the artsy city in Oregon and lives up to its billing, it is fun to spend a few hours touring the shops. You will find many restaurants to choose from, Old Towne Cafe is great for breakfast. Going into Joseph for dinner is quick if you desire something different. I am not going to say anything negative, the Wallowa Lake Lodge is exactly what a lodge is suppose to be. It is comfort in the wilds and does not try to be anything more. I and my family truly enjoyed our stay and it was the experience we were looking for. Now one item for consideration, we drove the Hell's Canyon Scenic By-Way on the way in to the Lodge. Beautiful scenery but the road is not for the faint of heart, we had no troubles but it is miles of curves and switchbacks. Give your self lots of time and enjoy the drive but if you need lots of guardrails to make you feel safe, this is not the drive for you. read more

A friend and I enjoyed a great meal . I had a wonderful salad---pear, greens, havarti , almonds and a fine homemade dressing. All ingredients were wonderfully fresh. My friend had perfectly cooked salmon. What was as good as the food was the genuine hospitality and the staff sincerely asking about the food and service. Kristina is the highly energetic food services director and it is clear that she is focused on quality. The dining room is an old dark wood environment that will take you back to a slower time. I will go back for sure on the next trip to this amazingly beautiful area and this restaurant. read more

We had dinner here (2 adults & 1 baby). Yes, the dining room is a little dated and food was on the pricier side... but, IMO you are paying for the experience of dining at a historical lodge in an absolutely spectacular setting. Felt like I was at camp and the lobby of the lodge definitely has a cozy rustic feel. Outdoor seating is also a great option if it's not too cold (and much better atmosphere than eating inside). The food was tasty! But what really made our experience so great was the friendliness of the staff... everyone was so welcoming and kind, particularly our server. Some positives and a few negatives. On the positive side, this is a lovely, historic lodge within walking distance to Wallowa Lake and all of the services, restaurants, the Tramway, etc., in the area. We had a couple of breakfasts and one dinner and the meals were nice. Sitting on the back deck of the lodge with a glass of wine, enjoying the view and the wildlife is incredibly peaceful. The staff tried their best under the difficult circumstances of being understaffed, just like everyone else these days. Their attention to detail, and ability to accommodate all visitor requests were greatly hampered. Simple things like wiping down wet chairs on the deck or having a staff member over 21 years of age to serve alcohol was clearly a challenge for management. The Sumac cabin offered the basics of what anyone would need, very clean, but it was definitely rustic and lacking in much comfort or modern amenities. No television and the mattress was super uncomfortable, definitely in need of replacement. Wi-Fi was spotty, at best. Our one night in a lodge room was fine, but again a very spartan room, bordering on uncomfortable. Their lodging offers the basics, and for that rustic feel, they nailed it, but the rates are high considering what they do lack. With such a lovely place, it feels wrong to be critical, but for the costs, we expected just a slightly higher standard. Hopefully they will achieve that in the future. read more

So if you're thinking of a five-star Condé Nast hotel, you've got the wrong part to the state. For those looking for warm hospitality, delicious food, and people that somehow seen familiar even on your first stay, the Wallowa Lake Lodge is where you should plan your next vacation. We were greeted at the front desk by a very welcoming host who not only helped us orient to the town and sites around the area, but when we saw him later, he remembered our names and asked specifically about things we mentioned we planned to do. The free evening entertainment was timely (a talk by a local expert about the Perseid meteor shower on a night during the peak of the shower), and enjoyable (a country music band on the back deck while having dinner and dessert). While in town, local merchants talked with pride about the new management of the lodge before we even mentioned we were staying there. The accommodations at the lodge are homey and thoughtful. While the rooms don't have air conditioning, our room had electric fans, with a large, portable dehumidifier/air conditioner to keep the hall on the third floor comfortable during the unseasonable heat. The rooms were clean and had this amazing orange soap and shampoo, as well as extra blankets and brochures that promoted things in the area. The staff in the restaurant were super friendly and really cared for our needs. It was our anniversary during the 4 days we were there, and word spread amongst the staff. When the waiter greeted us at our table for breakfast, he also wished us a happy anniversary on our special day. Again, we felt very welcomed - almost like family! I had a similar experience to a number of other reviewers. We arrived after a long drive only to be rudely told we couldn't check in yet. The person at the desk was also rude about dinner reservations. When we came back later at the appointed time, a new rude person checked us in. I understand this is an old rustic hotel but the rooms were a little to summer camp for me. My bed was uncomfortable. In the bathroom the shower was a tub with a curtain all around it which stuck to me whenever I moved my arms. The bright spot was our servers at breakfast and dinner. The breakfast server (who had a manager label on) was actually so pleasant it almost made up for the experience the previous day. read more

If the dream of the 90s is alive in Portland, the dream of the 50s is alive in Wallowa Lake Lodge. This old fashioned hotel has a prime location on a gorgeous lake near (not walking distance) the alpine resort town of Joseph, OR, which is a bit reminiscent of places like Sisters, OR. Cute baby deer ran around the yard here and let us pet them occasionally, and there is a lot of hiking and water sports to be done in the area. If you enjoy quiet old fashioned vacations, this is the place to go, especially with very young children or elderly people. Unfortunately, the hotel seems to be resistant to the modernization that it desperately needs. The decor is exceptionally old fashioned right down to the comforters/blankets that are made of that weird fuzzy tan colored suede-like material that you ordinarily see only in motels. The bathroom also offers all the glory of previous decades, with a bath that needs to be drained with a button on the opposing wall (said button cannot be reached from the bath tub). The toilet got clogged the very first time we used it, in spite of the fact that we only urinated in it and there was nothing that could clog it. We would've called down for a plumber, except there was no phone in the room. For that matter, there was no plumber either, just the lady from the front desk. We would've walked down to the lobby to get her, but fortunately all you need to do is to whisper anything in your room so the front desk (and everyone else too) will hear you. Good thing is, there are no TVs, so you absolutely do not need to worry that other guests' TVs will be playing loudly through the thin walls or through the window above the door that you can't reach to close unless you are over 6 feet tall. (Oh, 'pro tip': One of the guests was smoking weed in the parking lot, so if you're bored, see if you can score a smoke from someone outside) The restaurant had very friendly service, and the food was decent, some things even fairly good, but none of it was great and the pricing was more fitting for food in the 'superb' category (or at least organic, local, etc which this was not with the exception of my choice of wine). None of it was better than the stuff we whip up quickly for dinner at home, so for being in there $30-50 price range, I can see why the dining hall was completely empty. Oddly enough, the lady at the front desk said we definitely needed to make reservations, and spent some time figuring out when and where she'd be able to seat us. (Our preferred time was problematic if we wanted a window table) They must've had a whole group of invisible diners though, because the entire dining room was empty when we came in at our (second choice) dinner time. One other elderly lady and her daughter came in while we were eating, but aside from that the entire room remained empty from 7-8.45. Get some rest before you go to bed, as you may not get much sleep later. Even with the window open, the room heated up like a sauna at night (did someone have the heater on somewhere?!) and it was so humid that I was only moments away from getting up and sleeping in my car with the air conditioning running, when suddenly it seemed to cool off slightly, and I finally feel asleep. Bring your own pillows too, as you get only one, and it feels more like a folded cardboard box than a pillow. I would have posted this review sooner, except there was no internet access in the room and I could only charge devices made after 1925 in the razor-socket, as the others did not allow for three pronged plugs. The internet situation (strong connection, router assigned IP, just no data through-put) could not be solved by several attempts to reset the router (other guests reported the same). There was a great alternative, namely a second router that was for the owners' own use. That would have solved the problem, except the owner refused to give us the password for that one, because it was for his own use, which is understandable, since being the owner and all, he's clearly more important than his guests. In short: This is a fabulous hotel if you enjoy vacationing in the 1950's (at inflated 2011 prices). Well, actually I mean an alternate universe's 1950s, in which telephones and televisions had not been invented yet and air conditioning, hair dryers and the internet are futuristic dreams available only to the owners. If you want to know what this place is like, imagine that Dirty Dancing resort, only without dancing, Patrick Swayze, or fun. Fortunately, the walls are a pretty shade of green so you can stare at them quite a while without getting bored in the evenings. read more

We were "welcomed" with our keys slid across the desk and a barely audible "here." The rooms and setting are gorgeous which is absolutely the lodge's saving grace and main draw. And I realize how difficult it is to find staff. But honestly, expect more from them. And please do not say you have a Continental Breakfast if you serve a child's lunch sack including string cheese and disposable utensils. We were really looking forward to our stay at this iconic lodge. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.. When we arrived, the receptionist barely spoke to us. He basically just slid our key across the desk. There was no welcome, no conversation. It was uncomfortable and awkward. The same on checkout. We met the groundskeeper and he was really friendly and full of good information about the lodge. Our bartender was super friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was terrific. Really wonderful waitstaff as well. What stands out most for us, however, was the noisy children and their mother that were in the lobby during the 'happy hour' time. These were children of the lodge staff. They were loud and intent on drawing attention to themselves, along with the adults that were with them. At times, the man and woman that were there with the kids were so loud and boisterous that it was difficult to carry on a conversation over a glass of wine. It was not the atmosphere that we were expecting when we decided to have drinks and enjoy some appetizers in the lobby. read more

Our group consisted of four adults and one child. We stayed in the Lodgepole Cabin. The parents and the child slept in the queen sized bedroom and us two seniors tried to sleep in the full-size bedroom/closet. This bedroom/closet had a 43 watt(!!!!!) lightbulb in the corner which was so dim that it was almost impossible to see anything in the room; thankfully I was able to use my flashlight. The room/closet was so narrow that it was we had to turn sideways to squeeze in between the wall and the bed; it was literally inches between the bed and wall. We didn't have a closet but there five hooks on the wall to hang our clothes throughout our stay (lucky us!!!!) We could have pushed our bed up against the wall (sorry, no headboard) but there were occasional big black ants crawling on our bed via the pillows, so we decided not to push our bed against the wall. The "mattress" was very soft, mushy and creaky -- probably amongst the worse mattress we've ever attempted to sleep on. By the way, the queen-size room was fortunate enough to have a closet and a bureau (wish we were that lucky!) The staff at the Front Desk needs to enroll in Customer Service classes as I agree with others who posted, saying those people lacked personality. Imagine driving hours to finally arrive early at Wallowa Lake Lodge only to be very sternly told that we could NOT check in early. Not so much as a "Hello, Welcome to Wallowa Lake" -- nothing. Very rude, sour, inconsiderate. Talked to three different people at the Front Desk and they all must be related as they all had the same sour disposition. Sorry if my presence interrupted your work; I'll definitely take my business elsewhere. I strongly recommend anyone reading this to do the same. Not worth the money. And I'd recommend to the Wallowa Lake Lodge staff that they replace that 43 watt incandescent light bulb with a stronger wattage fluorescent light bulb so that future guests can more easily see the black ants crawling on the bed. On a positive note, we did enjoy seeing all the people-friendly deer that wandered the grounds. read more

I didn't expect much from an old, historic lodge. So, I wasn't upset that the amenities were scarce and no air conditioning. In fact, I enjoy being off the grid and had been on a week long road trip through the mountains of Idaho and Oregon. We had been to so many unheard of towns and were showered with phenomenal customer service. This place I can only describe as: Salty. The receptionist during the day was rude. We stopped in a place in town because he emphatically told us we could not check in early (which was fine), but the place we went to pulled a Small Town Gossip rant about how awful the receptionist was and went a little too much into his personal life. So, we arrived armed with rather disturbing information that we kept to ourselves, but we're going to laugh about for years to come. It made his bad attitude much easier to handle though! Then at dinner time, the large, angry, combative hostess was a damn menace. One other patron lost his temper and exploded on her, which we were relieved we weren't hallucinating because we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. We felt validated that we judged her as horrible. We decided that we'll probably never return. The lodge is lovely, the rest of the staff were so kind, and the room was pleasant, but we couldn't relax. read more

We had a hard long trip and were exhausted.We got lost and called the front desk asking for directions. The young man was rude and sarcastic when I asked how many miles out of Joseph the hotel was. When we finally arrived he was anything but warm and welcoming and we felt like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. We walked out onto the lawn in front of the hotel to look around a bit and had a flashlight shined on us by people sitting on the deck.The room was small but comfortable. In the morning, we tried to ask if we could sit outside and were barked at by the hostess that she would be right with us. We just had the overwhelming feeling of not being welcomed here. Made it to the 2nd floor and over heard a blonde woman yelling and cussing at 2 other employees. This resort is not pet friendly and the phone receptionist handled my question extremely poorly, refusing to take my business. This review is about the phone reception's customer service. I tried to make a quick phone reservation arriving at 10pm and leaving in the morning passing through to home in Portland. He refused my business because I suggested I would leave my dog overnight in the car due to their pet policy. Instead of simply recommending I don't do that, he was judgemental, unfriendly, and handled the situation with power/control issues. Whether or not you agree with me leaving my dog in the car overnight (many don't agree with it, yet many of us do it on road trips and camping); I hope all of us would agree that a receptionist shouldn't overstep their duties by becoming religious police or noise police or any police. He was not concerned about animal safety, but passed judgement that my dog would bark all night (my dog doesn't bark). Extremely unusual for today's world to have a hotel/resort be so pet unfriendly, but more importantly is how the receptionist handled the situation. I am no longer interested in a place that takes all the enjoyment out of pine trees and nature. I can't imagine ever wanting to visit. In the mean time, my guess is that there is a customer tonight with a dog in the parking lot and no one knows. At minimum, this entitled employee could use some customer service training to not be so offending. Can't recommend this place due to customer service. read more

Wallowa Lake Lodge was a great find -- the lodge and cabins are set on a wide lawn on the shore of beautiful Wallowa Lake, and bordered by the river. Just sitting on the deck chairs, we saw several bald eagles, does and fawns, and a gazillion stars. Boaters have easy access to the lake from the State Park next door. The tram ride was a highlight of our vacation, and is just a short distance from the Lodge. read more

Quaint lodge in a beautiful location. The staff at the lodge were very helpful and pleasant. While it's an older lodge, it was a quaint place with cute and comfortable rooms, and a lobby area with chairs and couches to hang out. We left early due to the poor air quality eastern Oregon due to the summer wildfires, but plan to visit the lodge again in better weather. We appreciated the wif-fi in the lobby area and were able to connect from our room that was just above the lobby. read more

Historic lodge across the street from the tram to the summit of Mt. Howard. Some rooms have a peek-a-boo view of Wallowa Lake. Deer visited the lawn in front of the hotel daily. Peaceful and relaxing. Poor wi-fi service. Beds are OK. Clean rooms. Clunky bathrooms (hard to adjust water temperature, poor water pressure). The restaurant felt a little empty. I hope this historical hotel remains open for many more years. read more

Bad service, we waited over an hour and never got our food-ended up just walking out hungry and grumpy. I had to ask multiple times if our food was ready yet and kept getting different answers. The last time I asked they informed me that part of our meal was ready but it was made wrong and we could wait for a new one. Other customers in the restaurant seemed to be having troubles too. Don't ruin your morning by trying this place just go into town and get fed. read more

Came here for a couple of nights with the kids during a great western driving trip. It was fun. The historic nature of the lodge was a nice experience for the kids. Exposed plumbing, old fixtures and a big rustic sitting area to hang out with. Admittedly we did not eat here, but it was a nice base to spend a day in Joseph, and spend a day up in the eagle cap hiking. I would say it is a bit on the expensive side, but you're paying for part of the charm so the experience is worth it if you are not looking for the latest and greatest. read more

The lodge is a great place to stay at Wallowa Lake, especially if it is your first go around at the lake! The lodge has the historical heart of the area and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Rooms are small, but that's the way they were built in the early 1900's! read more

Aside from a spectacular setting the lodge has a 4 star chef hidden in the kitchen. Had the stuffed boneless pork chop with mashed potatoes. Sounds simple enough but a good chef can take simple and make it greater than the sum of its parts. Stuffing...over the top with a pan reduction and mashed potatoes...have to ask the chef. Never had any quite like them. What a pleasant surprise. Waitress you ask. Could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Chef is known affectionally as "Stormin Norman". read more

Had a nice dinner at the lodge. Wild salmon...yum. Berry Cobbler was weak. But will be back.
