Been here many times and no problem. Good price and usually quick. But pay attention to what you are paying for. My $52.88 oil change became $65 real quick because they didn't have my filter in the service area so they had to get one off the floor. They are required to call and get a verbal consent, but that didn't happen. Even if they had called, the answer is No. The price I agreed to pay included a filter. You not having one in the service area has nothing to do with me. And the cashier that decided that it was ok to give me attitude because I didn't want to just pay it because that's how they do it was ridiculous. The auto manager ended up cancelling the original invoice and rang up a new one for the correct price. But that only happened because I held my ground. Wonder how many times this has happened. Is it really Walmart policy? If it is, someone should reconsider it. read more

While on vacation in Cambria, Wifey drove our Ford Edge into a stone planter box and exploded one of our tires. It was Saturday night. We needed a quick replacement and we needed it ASAP. Trish at Walmart Auto Care is a rockstar. She has the knowledge and took great care of us when we arrived - as did the tire cats. They were friendly, took time to explain things (the AAA dude stripped my lug nuts when putting on my donut - that was fun) and made sure we were GOOD before sending us back on the road. Their prices are noticeably lower than the other tire chains. If that matters, then you should bring your car here for tires and save a few bucks. Most of all, though, you'll be TAKEN CARE OF. And that's what it's really all about. Comfortable little waiting room was available and, of course, about ninety zillion items in the main store. If that ain't enough to kill time...you got too much time on your hands. read more

The automotive guys are great. The price is a good value compared to others in the area. But the woman at the checkout where you pay. Is one of the rudest customer service employees I've ever encountered. She was dismissive & impatient expecting you to know things obviously that needed to be explained & snappy if you had to ask where to pay when it clearly was confusing. The maintenance department is good and I recommend their oil change service, if you don't mind being checked out by someone who clearly wants to be anywhere else but checking you out. Five stars for the automotive staff, minus 5 for the cashier. But the department itself is good so they don't deserve minus any stars but I had to take one away because they've gotta know they have an issue with this cashier. read more

Took my car to Walmart last week for an oil change. Why didn't I do it myself? Because it's hot and I didn't feel like crawling around on the driveway. after about half an hour or so, they called and told me they don't have my filter. And then they told me I can walk to O'Reilly's and buy a buy a filter for them to install. I told them to give me my keys. and I would do it myself. A week later I picked up a filter and returned to Walmart for an oil change. after about an hour I went to check on my car. my hood was up and two guys were looking through manuals. While I was watching them the lady behind the counter asked if anything was wrong. I told her I was concerned and asked her to open the door so I could see what was going on. They couldn't figure out what oil my car used so I told them. As I started to walk around the store again one of them came up and told me they didn't have 1030 oil. I asked if they didn't carry 1030 or if they were out? He said they were out while we were standing in the oil aisle in front of 1030 motor oil. I told him they couldn't be out because it was right there . Then he suggested I purchase the oil off the shelf for them to use on my oil change. When I'm already paying for oil they aren't going to use.That's when I asked to speak to a manager. I was told the manager was not in, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. She explained my oil and filter change would not include the oil or filter that I am already paying for. On top of that there is an extra charge for providing oil and filter myself. Popped a tire on vacation with the kids. It was 6:30 and everything else in the town was closed. Thankfully these guys got us back on the road in about an hour. Very friendly, took us in right away. Saved our vacation. read more

Got an oil change, drove home a few miles away and my car was smoking. I popped the hood and there was oil everywhere. I immediately called them and they said to bring it back. They looked at it and couldn't find out what was wrong. They said that it was most likely a high pressure hose that burst and was completely unrelated. Had to get car towed to another shop. Turns out, they installed the filter incorrectly. They did pay for the other shop to repair it but that is time I'll never get back. The assistant manager Jose kept me waiting for an hour and didn't even apologize for the waiting or the faulty service. read more

Quick and easy car battery replacement over at the auto care center. Was in there at 6:25 and out by 6:50 with a new battery in my car without any issues. Would use them again (assuming my battery lives at least an average amount of time). Not my first time getting a battery from them though and it usually goes quite smoothly! read more

do not go here. they lost my keys once, didn't put my oil cap back on and i didnt realize for months, they put the wrong tires on the rear of my car and i only found out when i went to replace them, and also every time i get my tires rotated i tell them i pay for the unlimited tire rotation and yet every time they charge me and then i have to wait for the manager to come void out those transactions. i found out about my tires/oil cap later, so do yourself a favor and don't even go here to begin with. read more
