Naturally I assumed something catastrophic was wrong with it that I somehow missed. Nope. Another dealer immediately gave me $8,000 without even doing the dramatic "hmmmmm" dealership act where they disappear into the manager's office for 45 minutes to calculate how badly they can insult you. So either Straub Honda's appraisal department is powered entirely by expired gas station sushi, or they genuinely hoped I was dumb enough to celebrate getting robbed in broad daylight. The funniest part was how serious they were. Nobody laughed. No wink. No "gotcha." Just a completely sincere attempt to buy a perfectly good car for the price of a used riding mower. At this point I'm convinced if I traded in a Ferrari there, they'd offer me $11,500 and a complimentary pen. Absolutely incredible experience. 10/10 if your dream is to feel like your car was evaluated by two toddlers and a broken calculator.

Then about the death wobble, the guy told me that it did feel a little squirrly but didn't investigate. Then I was lectured on the size of my tires and basically anything after market done to my jeep. I do not need lectured, I need my jeep fixed. But at least they changed my oil. Thanks for wasting what little time I have. I work on the road and needed this done. Anyone know of anyone in wheeling willing to do the right work? Thinking about paying double for the work. Or asking someone to do the work who will actually investigate and find the problem,,,,,,,, a professional maybe. Also when I was there to pic it up one of the techs tossed a key across the counter, I thought it was mine because it came to me. It wasn't. Jeremy refused to tow my vehicle back home (blamed his boss) and left me stranded in the dark and alone with my inoperable vehicle. Before Jeremy left he told me to "please lock your doors, this is not a safe area". I then had to call AAA to use my last tow for the year just to get home and my vehicle still is not being repaired at a shop. I had to file a dispute with AAA to hopefully get my tow back.

Avoid this business. The collision repair work is adequate, but the person who appears to be in…read morecharge is someone no customer should ever have to deal with. My truck was repaired after a small accident. The shop called on a Monday and left a message stating my truck would be finished later in the day. I arrange a ride to tge shop for Tuesday afternoon and arrive at the shop. I tell the workers why I am there, and 15 minutes later they tell me that they " just pulled a truck into the bay for a brake job so they cant get my truck out. I will have to wait till they are done or come back later" This was unacceptable to me, my ride was on their lunch break, and I wanted my truck that was paid for already. And I told the workers I did not have time to wait, and woukd be unable to arrange another ride. Long story short, a person I believe to be the person in charge arrived and began swearing at me while I was standing outside of the shop on the phone with my insurance agent. I came right back at him stating this was all unacceptable. He then said that "your truck aint done yet. It needs one more part I will call you when its done". Not only was his grammar terrible, but he was now being a jerk to me for being upset that his workers screwed up! My agent called there, to no avail. Now his story changed to I am not releasing the truck until the insurance check clears the bank in case somone tries to stop payment on it. Stating that my agent threatened this , which my agent denies saying and denies is even possible. So, this guy was flat out refusing to give me my truck that he called me to tell me was done. At that point, I was forced to call the local Sheriff to have a deputy dispatched to mediate this situation. The antagonist then told me to " get off my property". I did so, and walked to the street where he followed me and kept inching nearer to me. At that point I was afraid for my safety. I was talking to my insurance agent and told her she may need to call local 911 for me. At that point he backed off. Once the deputy arrived, my truck was released and the antagonist continued to make snide and insulting comments about me, the clothes I was wearing ( he is obviously not an Ohio St fan), my appearance, and somehow he accused me of being a "Hillary Clinton voter" ( where that came from and what that is supposed to mean: I dont know). And on and on and on. I apologized to the deputy for his need to come out for this and he simply said, " believe me, I am not surprised" Like I said: the work was adequate, the experience was unacceptable.
