This is a shopping complex very similar to Heartland Town Centre in Mississauga, ON. It's clusters…read moreof stores separated by streets. It's a bit confusing and difficult to find specific stores. There are also 2 roundabouts in this shopping complex which add to the confusion. It has a very suburban feel. I only went to the Marshalls and Crocs, but there are a lot of big box stores, like Toys R Us, Bureau en Gros, JYSK, Homesense, Bouclair, etc. There are banks and drugstores and an SAQ (liquor store). I personally am not a fan of this kind of layout for shopping. You pretty much have to get in your car and drive if you want to go to stores in different "sections" since they are so far apart. Or you could walk but you'll be walking across parking lots and streets, it's not really set up with walkways or sidewalks for pedestrians.

There is a lot of repetition and they are scattered all over the place. By this I mean that, you might have 35 times the same dress, same color, same size. But it's going to be on 30 different racks, not all grouped on one rack. So because of this, you can't get quickly around. But, just because of the deals. It's worth the time.

1) I tried to return a pair of shoes today without the bill. Their excuse was that this was a new shipment. which means that this is not a true outlet store, since they keep restocking the same item. 2)When I tried to take a sample of the new tag in order to make a complaint with HBC head office, the store manager grabbed my handbag from me, although I was still standing there with the tag in my hand. In the course of trying to grab my handbag, she scratched me, drawing blood. 3) I foolishly decided to still check out and purchase the items in my basket. As I was doing so, the manager and now a security guard stood and watched, trying to spook and intimidate me, although all I was doing was paying for my items. All in all a horrible experience. As the prices are no better than what you would find in Montreal on Bay Days, it is definitely not worth the drive out.

I'm more of a fan of Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross stores in the US. My wife is even more a a crazy fan of these stores!!!! Selection can be hit or miss at these places. Today it was a miss as I didn't see much to my liking! I'd say selection was similar to a Winners. Marshalls is usually known for having ore upscale items. I'd say today it looked like a Winners!
