This customer service sucks! I had bought a shirt quite a while ago, but they apparently left the tag to prevent stealing on it. I took it to the Buena Park store to get it removed. Even though I had my original receipt- they refused to remove it b/c I guess I bought it at Anaheim Plaza originally. I felt suspected of stealing and annoyed that I now have to go to another crazy Walmart. Not terrible service at all because everyone was friendly... i think it is poor management and infrastructure. Ten minutes waiting to get a razor from the locker... i pressed the button so many times to express urgency or the stupidity of having to sit and wait 10 minutes to get someone to open the locker. After wasting so much time, the rest of my experience felt rushed. Every employee on the floor needs to have a locker key. You waste your customers time. At the register some employee noticing we were waiting forever because someone was handling their food stamp paper work so he escorted us to a check out stand. Now an item didn't have a tag so now we have to wait for him to go and look for the item and price... why aren't your items tagged ????? After the check out we had to walk to the man at the door to take our razor out of a security packaging.... why couldn't it be done at the check out stand!!!! Where we already waited so long bow to wait for the receipt line. I wont go back unless i have time to waster. And you better believe my husband heard an earful because i suggested we go to target. read more

First of I told the person to do an oil change and tire rotation. He said okay it shouldn't take long because there's not a lot of people. So then I come back about 10 min later the oil change is done but no tire rotation. I talked to the person to do it because I said already to do tire rotation and oil change now it's gonna take an hour! We were about to take a road trip to Vegas and my tire pressure light came on the car. My husband and I took the car to Wal-Mart Auto Center on a Saturday morning and spent 2.5 hours waiting for the oil to be changed and the tires rotated and pressure checked. When we started the car, the light was still lit up. We told the technicians and they said we would have to drive a few miles before the light would turn off. A couple of days later, the light still hadn't turned off so my husband and his brother check the pressure themselves - 3 of the tires had very low pressure. Our receipt states that all four tires had normal air pressure- they clearly did not check the tires even though we paid extra to have them rotated and specifically asked them to put air in the tires. The customer service department at this location is HORRIBLE, even for a Walmart. I've had to return two items here on different occasions and both times the entire transaction was completed without one word spoken to me. A simple, "Hi, how can I help you?" is appropriate, or they could ask what the reason for the return was or if the item is damaged... those are usual questions from a Customer Service counter. At one point , I was standing there waiting for the employee to give me further instruction until I realized she was expecting me to know that I needed to walk two feet to the right to sign their key pad screen. This places smells like a wetfart wrapped in burrito paper. Toys and junk allover the floors , knocked over on shelves. 20-30 kids running around being loud. The bathroom smells like Rosie O'donnel farted into a coffee filter. With dirty napkins in the dispenser, people constantly taking loud ass NASCAR engine dumps, in the stalls. Also the McDonald's is dirtier than honey boo boos mommas diaper. Ketchup and lettuce allover the floors , wrappers and chocolate stains on the seats. No parking, horrible employees, long lines, they let bums hangout outside the store asking for money, rude employees, their management doesn't seem to care about their guest. My favorite store to be at is Walmart because of reasonable prices. I like that they are not expensive and overboard with their selections. The staff there is very friendly with the greeters too. I also like their tire and lube express because the oil changes there are quick and thorough and the technicians are not trying to suggest you need all these repairs like these other auto shops. By far the worst Walmart I have ever been to. The front end really needs some reorganization. 12:30 PM on a holiday and there were 4-5 registers open with at least 8 people in each line. In my line, there was a family in front of me that was purchasing items with their W.I.C. checks. I have no issue whatsoever with W.I.C. or anyone that uses it. My issue was with the cashier. OP# 001773 (didn't notice a name tag). There was a problem with one of the items that didn't match what was allowed on the check. Cashier sends mom to go get the correct one. That's fine right? Ok so just put the other items aside and start checking the rest of the line out until she gets back. No. She proceeds to scan the other items and stand there. When asked if she was just going to stand there and wait for her to come back she said she had to, it's W.I.C. Having worked in retail, I know this to be untrue. I explained to her that all she had to do was put her light on and have a CSM (Customer Service Manager) come over and either hold the transaction or cancel it altogether. "They don't like to do that". Ok, then call one of them over so I can ask them why. She wouldn't call anyone over. She did finally take the items off of the register and started to check the rest of the line out. I understand that there are laws and rules regarding how anyone using assistance is treated. Again, i have no problem with anyone using W.I.C. My issue was with the cashier that didn't have a problem holding the line up for one item. And where are all of the managers? There should be a CSM walking around with their eyes scanning to see if there is any type of an issue. I didn't see one visible supervisor anywhere. read more

My wife and I went to Walmart in Buena Park to buy two bicycles. My bike was regular price. My wife's bike was marked $149, but advertised online for $99. The sales rep "Donovan" was so helpful and courteous to us and the other customers in the bike department. Donovan made so much sense when he agreed the store would and should honor the online price of $99 simply because we could easily buy the bike online for $99 right then and there, then pick it up right after the purchase. So, we took the bike to the register and we were helped by "Chris." Chris checked the online ad and agreed that the store would easily honor their online price at the register. So, he called for a manager to override the $149. After several calls for a manager to assist and 40 long mins later!, "Isabel" (assistant manager) showed up pushing a shopping cart with trash (as if she was stocking shelves instead of doing what assistant managers should be doing). Isabel said to Chris, "what do you need?" Chris explained and she replied, "we don't override online prices. WHAT!!!??? Are you nuts?!. We could've bought it online 40 mins ago and picked it up before your lazy ass decided to show up after multiple requests for a manager!! Luckily, the light bulb turned on and Isabel did the override. Although Isabel was rude and did not have any customer service skills, she at least did the right thing in the end. We really felt like she was mad at us for buying a bike. Do yourselves a favor, buy online and just pick up. It's so much easier. read more

I've been to multiple Walmarts, but this is the first Walmart that I've been to that wasn't completely crowded, didn't have ridiculously long lines, and was actually very clean. I went to pick up a Site to Store purchase, where they made a mistake on the order quantity, but immediately fixed the mistake and even gave me a small discount for the mistake. Now that I moved over to Buena Park, I'll be happier to be shopping at this Walmart than most others! read more

I was rudely pushed out of a section so to speak I was in by a employee that acted as if she owned that area I was in and as if I was not there!!!! I'd give this place zero stars if I could! Here's my situation: I went in at around 9:00pm to buy a smart t.v. There was only one person working at electronics so it took us (my family and I) more than an hour to finish everything including purchasing the tv. Within that hour of waiting, we had to look for a tv we liked by ourselves. We finally found one, it was a 65" Philips brand. After having a sales associate to our full service, she tells us that there's one in the back BUT it's an open box.. meaning it was returned. I asked ANGELICA (sales associate) why, she said because the customer changed their mind, maybe due to funds. After waiting and looking and constantly debating on a tv, we just decided to buy it. I had faith in Walmart because no big, successful company would resell a broken item! Another associate MICHAEL did the transaction, seemed like he hated his job and showed no emotion or even mild proper customer service, mentioned that it was returned for no reason. So we pulled the trigger and bought it! We went home so excited, and it turns out the tv doesn't work. The screen had thick, black and white squares and the voice on the tv seemed like it was in fast forward. We couldn't adjust or reset anything because the screen was blank! We immediately rushed back to Walmart and made it at 10:40pm, we rushed because it closes at 11pm. But no, the customer service closes at 10pm apparently. (Then why are you guys still open?) We spoke to the manager and she was no help at all! We paid this tv with card so it's easier, it could of been a fast transaction because we were going to buy another tv right there and then! She was very unhelpful and said that she's about to leave. She even told us "I'm the money manager sorry" so it's like, why are you even talking to us? (We didn't get her name but she was a little young with glasses and tattooed moles on her face and one big front tooth). If we could, we would love to see the footage of our faces when she told us she was the MONEY MANAGER twice! She was very proud and unprofessional with that. Anyways, we spoke to the assistant manager and she was very calm and apologized. She told us to be back tomorrow and that they open at 7am, she did her best to calm us down and we appreciated that. The only reason why I'm giving a 0-1 star is because why have the store open til 11pm when customer service closes at 10pm? Like it really makes no sense at all!! Better yet, don't sell expensive items past 10pm, especially electronics that are prone to have malfunctions because no one is there to help! Sorry Walmart but have common sense, if you're going to close at 11pm, all services must be closed the same time. Even McDonald's was still open!! Ridiculous. And tell your money manager to not be so proud with calling herself that, she's just as useless. read more

I wish I could give negative 0 stars but it doesn't give me that option. I came here all the time due to convenience.This is the LAST time I will ever come to this walmart. Tonight was my very last straw with this shit hole. Strike 1: the parking lot is horrendous...they need to build levels or something you'll be circling the whole damn place for a good 20 min before you find a spot. Strike 2: the employees are extremely rude and have the worst attitude, whether that be from the greeters, the cashiers, or the people who work the return dept. Strike 3: a greeter in the garden dept. an old white man in his late 50's with glasses, moustache, & a ponytail is a complete asshole. He never smiled or "greeted" anyone even though that is his job title. I'm pretty sure he's a racist; before he accuses or wants to accuse someone of something they didn't do he needs to have some proof & facts on him first! I hope he gets sued! I was trying to see if I could get a store credit for an item that I won from our work Xmas party today. The item has a bar code that said walmart on it. Instead of being polite to just tell me that she would not be able to give me a store credit due to her inability to find the item on their system, she has to rudely add that the item may probably be stolen. Bad quality produce. I bought a bunch of bananas here (#4011 Ecuador) . Looks spotless outside, but when you open them to eat, you'll find many reddish spots - every single one of the bananas. Probably some creatures' eggs about to hatch. Also the place is always crowded and the quality of the shoppers... hmm they either want to bump into you to make friends or they anxiously want to get the same products you're getting. And the workers... well, avoid them inside the store at night,especially the guys who bring out the water bottles unless want to hear them slam the cases down near you. Shop elsewhere. read more
