I had to buy some pain relieving cream and nail polish removers for kitchen island table so I decided to go to super store Walmart inside Buena Park mall. They have a wide variety of everything compared to Walmart neighbor. I couldn't find my items easily and found it in the window w lock. I had to call the customer service rep to open the window for pain relieving cream. Takes time to buy something since they had lots of problems by shoplifters. Almost everything was locked. However, the prices are cheaper than Target. They had more selections compared to Target, CVS, and other markets. I found what I needed to buy from Walmart. And plus one stop shopping area if you are inside Buena Park mall. That is why I go there so often. Now this mall is under construction at the parking lot. I stopped by this Walmart for essentials. We just moved and realized that we needed some things. I came here to grab some bathroom essentials. We needed shower curtain hooks and a shower caddy. I found exactly what we needed here! It wasn't too crowded. I was able to get in and out easily. Plenty of parking at this location too. There's lots of mall parking available. Service was fine. It was standard service for Walmart. Nothing about average really. This location is huge- they have a lot! Good variety of things. It was pretty organized and clean. Some things were out of place here and there. Good place if you need things for your house. Decent variety and they are sure to have what you need. My family went to Walmart this afternoon to purchase school pants. When my son asked the sales rep in the men's section for help she could not speak english. He had to get my Wife to come over to communicate. Later in the shopping experience, the same sales rep came to wife to ask her to translate for another customer. The customer only spoke english and my wife had to help the sales rep understand what was being asked and then had to translate the sales rep spanish to english so the customer could understand. On 09/14/2025 I ordered a Samsung 58" tv and Angie's instant from Walmart.com. Their order number 2000134-47757954. EFW delivered it. They texted me it was at my door. The box was leaning against my garage door and was open. A half hour later the guy from Angie's was knocking at my door to install it. We took the tv out of the box and the screen was cracked. I called Walmart and the said they would pick it up. It took 10 calls to them before EFW picked it up on their pick up #85692230 on 10/08/2025. I called Walmart another 5 times. A customer service person in a far off land named Ju gave me a refund reference #251031-75568-0000. She told me to wait 48 hours for an email. It never came. I called Walmart another 5 times and every time I called the rep in a far off country named Ahmed assured me I was getting a refund. These customer service people are professional liars. I never got my refund. Next I'll try my bank for help. Don't order anything like a tv or electronics from Walmart.com This review is about Walmart.com not any particular store. I haven't shop at Walmart in a while, but earlier I did. Although I was disappointed that they don't accept Apple Pay, not even tap to pay. The only option was to insert debit or credit card or pay cash. I have not done that in two years. Maybe I'll pay cash if I go back. But for now, you lost me as a customer. Tania at the customer service self checkout is always unwilling to help me I come to this location after the gym five plus times a week and she is the only employee that is always unprofessional and rude at this point it seems like she is racist because I have seen her treat other customers differently. Finally went into Walmart after on previous visits, using its parking lot as a place to eat our Portillo's Hot Dogs when it was too crowded inside. It is the anchor store in the Buena Park Downtown shopping mall. It is well layed out, with most shelves fully stocked. There is a dedicated sewing area, where bolts of fabric are available. They are using the garden center as a Christmas Center, with a large selection of Holiday wreaths, ornaments and trees. They also have a Taco Bell inside, though the prices seem to be higher than in a free standing store (kinda goes against the Walmart mantra of 'lower prices...period'. read more

Robert in the auto department was AMAZING!!! After a mechanic friend of mine couldn't get my windshield wipers installed on my Nissan Cube... I was taking them back to walmart for the correct wipers. Came here this afternoon to get my car serviced and while I waited, i did a little grocery shopping and then checked out in the service area, I was helped by Jennifer "Jenn" I believe, she had purple in her hair but I was quite surprised at how rude she was. Went there yesterday to buy some clothes and to try to find some food supplements. I asked one of the workers at that section about the supplement and he felt annoyed by me asking him, because he thought his work was interrupted by me and what he was doing was way more important than me trying to decide on buying what I want. So I went on Walmart's website to purchase gold spray paint for a project. After the spray paint was delivered, I noticed that it was not the right color type of gold paint that I needed and also the lid of the spray paint can was cracked and hard to twist open. The next day I decided to go to this Walmart (because it was the closest to me) in person to return the spray paint. I go to the return department and this Caucasian woman about 5'8 in her late 30's with shoulder length blonde hair and with kind of heavy makeup on (I was not able to catch her name) was at the register. I let her know that I need to return the spray paint because I accidentally ordered the wrong color. I also let her know the spray paint has never been used and is completely new since it was delivered just the day before. She asks me about the crack on the lid and I tell her the lid on the spray paint was cracked when it was delivered to me probably because it was shipped in a simple plastic bag. She looked at me with confusion...?! She asked me if I had a receipt I let her know that I purchased the spray paint online, and the paper that I had on me was the only form of receipt that came with the item when it was delivered. She did not believe that I purchased the spray paint from Walmart even though the paper and email receipt both clearly stated "sold and shipped by Walmart" and had a barcode and everything. I don't know if she was trying to undermine me or what. Because she then proceeded to say that I bought it from a third-party website not through Walmart's website. Huh?? I told her "I went on your Walmart website to find the item and purchase it on there too, I didn't go to a third party's website to find and purchase the item." The item may have come from a third-party, but Walmart is the one that sold it to me so...?? She then directs me to go to a Walmart Neighborhood Market located on Beach Blvd and Lincoln Avenue. She said the people there can do the return for me. I asked her several times to really make sure they could do the return for me because I didn't want to drive there for no reason. She kept reassuring me that, that Walmart Neighborhood Market can complete the return for me. I take her word for it and I drive to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Beach Blvd and Lincoln Avenue. I get there and after about 10 minutes of waiting, a lady finally comes to the customer service desk. I explain to her my situation and I tell her that an employee at the Walmart Superstore on La Palma Avenue advised me to come here to do my return. She asked for a receipt in which I once again whipped out to show her and this employee also didn't believe that I bought the spray paint from Walmart??? She tells me that in order to complete the return, I would need to go to the UPS store or post office, purchase either an envelope or cardboard box, pay for a label or print one out and mail the package back to the third-party. I just stared at her and I was too tired to re-explain that I bought the spray paint from Walmart's website, so I just left the store. Now I am stuck with a spray paint that is the wrong color when they could have just done a simple return or exchange for literally 1 item. I'm extremely upset because I feel like I wasted about 2 hours of my life that I can never get back. After that whole mess, I will never shop online or in-store at a Walmart Superstore or Neighborhood Market again. May I suggest that if you ever think about going to a Walmart, just don't because you will regret it. However if you feel like you must go to Walmart, you best make sure that what you buy in-store or online can be returned. This is very long awaited review. I've been coming to this Walmart since I was a child. Up until now. I always come to this specific Walmart. Lately over the last couple years the customer service here has dramatically plummeted. The employees here are no help whatsoever; they're either rude and disrespectful or just don't know what they're doing, acting all confused. You need a specific item and don't know where it is?
