I find Walmarts prices to be good, I'm a Walmart+ member who has the Walmart One credit card in which I save 5% off of my orders at Walmart & can get items delivered for free if needed. Altogether I certainly recommend Walmart. Sadly I would like to see more regular lines than everything becoming self-checkout with less employees in the store now. Yet as a whole I recommend them and the vast majority of my experiences have been positive there. Later hours than most stores in the area which is certainly needed. We have WaWa that's 24 hours, yet the price discount with Walmart compared to Wawa is enormous of course. I do wish our Walmart did have a gas station like many other states Walmarts have as well. A suggestion for anyone like myself that likes to save money, they have Walmart+ 1/2 price during their Black Friday sale. It comes with several perks, and allows the Walmart One credit card to be 5% off Walmart purchases rather than the normal 3% off with the card. And the $50 annual price for Walmart+ that has several perks during Black Friday has been my go to for a couple years now! read more

The workers are very nice and helpful, however this store is extremely understaffed. There are barely any people at the checkout lanes. During the busy times you'll have maybe 2 or 3 checkout lanes at the maximum. I refuse to do self checkout. It's busy too plus I'm not a Walmart employee to be doing self checkout there. read more

Alex and Annette in customer service went above and beyond helping me get a refund from an issue that was created from a disappointing pickup service experience at a different Walmart location. (The pickup experience this same day at the Flemington location for a different order was quick and seamless.) Was very impressed with their help when they could have easily dismissed my issue since their store did not create the original problem and Walmart online customer service gave me a confirmation number that they had no way of looking up themselves so Alex actually called customer service to figure out how he could help me. For shame WalMart!!! On any given Sat or Sun you could walk into this store and see lines extending out into the aisles. This is because even though they are the busiest shopping days they one have a few registers open. They have more self check out than cashier lanes, but they forgot to consider the intellect of their clientele. Most people don't know what they're doing and clog the lanes. Good luck finding someone to help, there's even less of those people than cashiers. Twice now I have given up in frustration and just dropped my merchandise on the floor and walked out. was at the Flemington Walmart yesterday morning at the self checkout. I bought 24 individual packs of chow mein which 8 comes on a small shelf box. Well I was able to get the 24 packs of chow mein into my bag but couldn't fit the 3 boxes (small shelf box's ) in with it. I asked the person there if they had someplace to put the boxes. She said you can take them home. I told her that I didn't need them at home. She said next time if I'm not going to take the boxes home to leave the empty boxes on the shelf. After years in nursing and in retail. I just thought that as very rude. And that is not the first time I encountered a rude employee there. They definitely need an attitude check! And maybe a bin or can for cardboard, hangers, trash up by the self check outs so that people don't have to deal with rude employees. read more

Is it possible to find a building other than the DMV where each person you see wishes they were someplace else. Visit this abomination of a retail center and you shall soon find your answer. Staff is willingly unhelpful and just want you to go away. I purchased a lawn mower in October and obviously did not use it over the winter. To my dismay and frustration when I went to use it in the spring it did not function. Customer service eagerly told me that I could not return it due to their 90 day return policy. The online website said that there was the Nestle Toll House Valentine Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough so I went to this Walmart to get some and when I went there I saw them no where. I went down every aisle that they could possibly be in and they were nowhere to be seen. I went back the next day in hopes that they would restock their aisles and still nothing. I told this young lady to put $200 on this card and the other $232 dollars on my other card . Worst store to shop in! Saw an item on www.walmart.com for $19.97 and decided to go in and pick it up, along with over $100 in other items. The price in the store was $29.97 so I grabbed the items and went to customer service. I was met by a women that seemed very uninterested in anything. When I proceeded to ask about price matching she said that walmart does not price match from their online site. I was stunned that they would not match the price from their own website. I asked for a manager who told me the same thing. Ridiculous that they would not price match. Every other store including Target, Lowes, Kohls and many others never have an issue price matching and welcome it! I talked to Corporate customer service and was told the same thing. They just lost a $100 sale and hopefully many more with avoid all walmarts due to this lame policy! read more

This store has never been well managed but at times like this is is even more glaringly obvious. There are people entering the store through the one way exit, empty hand sanitizer dispensers. Items are not being restocked for weeks at a time. I am not alone in these observations. There are more employees in the store than customers and service is worse than ever before. read more

The cashier Nancy was beyond rude to me today. She was passive aggressive, snapped at me twice and looked at me harshly the entire transaction because I politely asked her a question. I am not a rude or mean person and I am friendly to everyone around me. As someone who works in customer service I understand how the job can be stressful, however, that does not excuse her bad attitude. More than once I have had her as a cashier and she has always been rude and today was the last straw for this consistent disrespect. Not the biggest fan of Wal-Mart stores, in general, but this one does have some good things going for it but also some bad things. To start, it's definitely one of the newer Wal-Marts that I've been to, so it's relatively clean which is nice. There is also a relatively large food section that even sells meats and produce - actually the first I've seen of this at a Wal-Mart. On the down side...well, to start it's a Wal-Mart. Also, no matter how many people are in the store, there are never more than 2 cash registers open. Ever. No matter how long the line gets, they have 2 registers open. It's reminiscent of the gas lines during the hurricane. So, do not expect to get in and out of here. That's impossible. The parking lot is also terribly designed - almost comical. There are all of these stupid roundabouts within the parking lot that's shared with some other stores. I do come here from time to time for convenience but it's really nothing special. read more

Went to this Walmart location for the first time in over 2 years! It's gotten even worse since when I used to go. It got even dirtier then it used to be, and the customer service still is very bad. I went up to an employee to ask a question and another employee literally ran up and cut me off and said "Hey, would you mind ringing me up? All the other lines are too long." I was shocked that they did this, especially when their shift had ended and they were buying personal groceries and we were at the tech counter. I do go here frequently and I always ask myself why???? All of the other reviewers are correct, the store is new, it is sloppy, the cashiers are miserable, they never have anything in stock, to top that they do have a large deli counter that perhaps one person works at, that one person is responsible for filling the bread, taking cake orders, cutting cold cuts, and working the huge hot prepared food section, that never has any hot food prepared. My question is where the hell was Target when that complex was being built. I have a hard time believing this store can be operating when it's barely operating. read more

I purchased clothing for an elderly nursing home resident in February 2020. By the time the nursing home staff informed me that several pieces of clothing did not fit it was into March and we were in the throws of a pandemic. THREE separate times I tried to exchange the clothing and each time was advised they were not accepting returns or exchanges. Being employed as a nurse during a global pandemic, returning the items completely slipped my mind. Two weeks ago it popped into my head and once again I headed over to exchange. The girl in customer service failed to a knowledge my presence as she stood with her back to me fixing her hair. I finally said excuse me are you accepting returns yet? Very sarcastically she replied "we've been accepting returns for the last three months! I explained why I needed to exchange and she asked me if I had the receipt. I was honest and gave it to her and she snapped "this is way to old to exchange". I won't take it. I explained I had attempted to return within the 90 days of purchase three separate times but was refused. She then snapped "well where have you been for the last three months???" Um...I've been working 12 hour overnight shifts caring for COVID patients. Walmart was not a priority for me. I left and wrote a detailed report and sent it to corporate who forwarded my report to the Flemington general manager. This manager couldn't even show me the decency of acknowledging receipt of my complaint??? Talk about adding insult to injury. No wonder Walmart has such a bad reputation!!! Horrible management in this store and the employees obviously hate their jobs!!! Walmart proclaims they support nurses hero's during this pandemic well they have a funny way of showing it!!! This general manager should be ashamed of his lack of response to a legitimate complaint from a local nurse. read more

This Walmart has a lot of the same issues as other Walmarts, i.e. low stock on some items & a lack of cashiers, etc. But it's not terrible or dirty or anything bad IMO, but it's not perfect. Positive: This place is never crowded. I've been here probably 60 times & it's never crowded. But there's usually only a few registers open so you'll still probably have to wait. Negative: A lot of the cashiers are incredibly slow, even compared to other Walmarts. Also, their cucumbers are always beat to hell & mushy. read more

A really horrible excuse for a Walmart. Puts everything you think you love about Walmart and completely destroys it. There are at least 15 checkout lanes with only about 2 running at a time. The store is dirty and poorly stocked, when you ask an employee for assistance it takes at least 20 minutes for them to find you in the store and that's if they even bother to come help you. Bought a Futon from in-store, asked an employee to call back to customer service for a cart to haul it to the front of the store and when the employee walked away I never heard from anybody. Cashiers are constantly switching lanes to talk to "friends", no wonder there are always lines a mile long. There are countless stories of people following me while I am shopping and asking for receipts as I am leaving. Managers should be people you aren't afraid to approach with a comment or concern and know something is not going to be done about it. Managers should not be someone who will shrug their shoulder at you. Something needs to be done about the employees in the Flemington Walmart, they are ruining the Walmart name and experience. read more

Walmart please let your employees sit. I find it crAzy to see that the cashiers have to stand for hour when they can sit and still do the same work. Look at aldi. Please consider the health of your employees. They can suffer from vericose veins which is an occupational hazard due to long standing hours. I'm a Dr, Long standing hours at work affect the health of the person. Perhaps providing high raises stools for your employees to sit at the cash check out counter will be helpful. read more

What can be said about this Walmart? Maybe the same thing that can be said about most Walmarts, and department stores in general. It's a giant warehouse filled with plastic shit with which to store more of your plastic shit. However, one thing I can't say for most stores such as this, is that when I purchase a package water, I receive a package of piss. No, not figuratively, literally. I visited this location early this morning with a simple task: go to the hunting and sporting section, acquire a fishing license, and properly fuck off. However, this simple quest turned into a 30 minute waiting game, wherein no single employee, or manager, in the entire place seemed to have either the knowledge or ability to simply help me purchase a license. I had to wait so long, and was so frustrated, I decided to forget the entire thing, and move on with my day... Of course, I figured- here I am, at Walmart, I should perhaps pick up a few packages of water for home? Yes, yes, of course... Walmart might not be the king of customer service, but how can you fuck up a package of water? Well, I'm truly impressed, because Walmart managed to do just that. It wasn't until I arrived home, that I noticed a small leak in one of the water bottles. Thinking it was simply cheap plastic, I removed the culprit bottle from the packaging and was going to toss it out- at which point, the liquid dripped onto my hand, and I realized... The bottle, was filled with a yellow substance that both looked and smelled like something that you might find coming out of the tip of a moose dick. I truly wish I was exaggerating when I say that I received a bottle of urine in my Deer Park water, but I am not. If this wasn't piss, I really don't know what is. Regardless to say, I now have a new standard for low. No shopping experience can ever surpass literally selling me piss. I think that accurately describes this store, and unless you have a fetish for golden showers, you might want to head on over to the local Target instead of this hole. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Stopped in to ask customer service where to get a fishing license and was directed to go to the sports department. After waiting 15 minutes or so at the sports department cash register I went back to customer service to ask for help. The lady said she would page someone to come help me. After waiting another 10 minutes or so I went back to customer service to let the lady know that no one has still come over and she said she would page someone again. After ten more minutes I walked out without ever being helped. I wish I got the ladies name who "helped" me at customer service. No apology or attempt to stop her conversation with another staff member and help me. read more
