I knew it wasn't a good sign when I had to contact them twice to get them to my house and then the day of the estimate they seemed a bit confused as to whether I was waiting for them to come do an estimate or to deliver dirt,sod, etc. When she finally showed up an hour or more late she really didn't seem very interested and after talking to her for maybe 5 minutes she said she was going to take a few pictures,measure and would send me an email with the quote. I never saw her take pictures or measure?? I am still waiting for that quote Sherri...NOT..I have had multiple other estimates from people that know how to do business, but thanks anyway. Don't waste your time with them if you want a job like this done.

The water pools even with the garden hose. It's unfortunate that you have to blow the water away with the grass blower or sweeping before you can play basketball with your friends. The pavers are beautiful but the pitch to cause the pooling of water makes a very bad taste.

7/4/26 happy 4th , The folks were hard at work here as I…read morewas volunteered to take down a neighbors fallen tree . My wood boss chainsaw failed me . I choked , no choked , pulled plug , tested plug , determined it was the not plug and needed a spark coil pack . Called D&L spoke with John , I told John of all of my knowledge and he politely told me I was most likely wrong . John did offer his assistance if I came up to his shop and we would test my knowledge. I was wrong . With John and his assistant also partaking in my adventure to assist my neighbor they took me through their steps before any "BEFORE ANY" parts are replaced , even if I was willing to buy one . The unit did not run , John do his knowledge of this unit told me he was sure if I fellowed their steps and his advise,my chainsaw would once again run . So I went home duplicated all steps , set unit up as advised, 3 pulls that chainsaw took off and was shut down after neighbors tree was taken care . Tried to pay John and his assistant for their time and knowledge, they did not except, tried to by their lunch , they did not except, it would defeat the purpose of just lending a helping hand to someone who needed it, the neighbor tried to pay me for my time and the ability to move her tree which I could not accept ,because it would defeat the purpose of helping somebody who needed it. So John, thank you for your time and knowledge that allowed me to help out the neighbor. Thought out my 36 years living here in Taylor , I have always had great service with this establishment.

Well I called in to see if they were open during the corona-19 deal going on they said yes I said…read morelawnmower will only stay running while it's being partially choked I told them it has been flushed of old gas and new has just been added today . Air filter was changed at end of last year along with oil even though it's a toro and it says never need to change oil just add if needed. So they called a couple days later said it's done and it's 85 dollars I said for what well they changed the oil ( it was new oil) they sharpened the blade who asked them to do that not me . They said they drained all the old gas out I said I told them I did that and told them that before I brought it in and I even done the carb bowl as I told them . She said they clean jet on ultra sonic cleaner first thing they done right. Said I can't go in to complain no one allowed in store right now. What a joke they charge 10 dollars for a 2 dollar air filter. You can buy them 5 filters for 10 dollars delivered online . For service run away from D&L after they are done -------------- you they should at least give you a dozen of roses.

This store makes that possible more than not because the items that are a couple bucks more than say Amazon for example are light-years ahead in quality. Really make shopping here for most things a no-brainier. Brian, Adam and the crew here are always friendly and welcoming. They just as soon talk about your grow for 30 minutes and look at your baby pictures than sell a product and it has that no-pressure feel that makes spending money in places like that very easy. Easy because you know the guys are giving you sound advice. Admittedly, I do not use the base nutrient lines offered at the store, but I do not have anything against them. Heavy 16 has shown it's a great product no question. I do however like the variety in accessories, media, and a great selection of odds and ends to keep the mom's happy like Kelp teas prepackaged and ready to brew. They offer all the great microbial inoculates and boosters. One cool thing to see was fans, duct-work and filters. As well a range of Co2 options. All that being said, I would have liked to see some new "real" LED Tech like HLG or ChilLED. I understand it is hard to keep up with a market that changes so quickly but I am pretty confident anything built with Samsung Quantum Boards will be relevant for at least 2-3 years from sales. In Reality they will remain relevant for 10,000 hours of operation and while maybe more efficient lights will come and go but these true deal lights will still be producing some killer. Especially considering that we are still using HPS lamps.
