This location of Walmart has slowly become my go-to. While it's still 15-20 minutes from home, it's right off the interstate and tends to be less busy than the Walmarts towards the north end of Columbus. I like where it's located and that I can also swing by Ulta, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, etc. This little corner of Stringtown Road is popping! This walmart tends to be more organized and less grungy than others. I've never had to wait too long while trying to check out and I can almost always find what I'm looking for. As with all Walmarts, the prices are cheap af and that's honestly why I come here at all. Overall, this specific Walmart is always my first choice in Columbus and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I feel safe here (unlike Easton Walmart) and I appreciate how easy it is to get in and out of, as well as the other shopping nearby.

I came here on Black Friday to check out some deals. And I don't believe I've been in a Walmart since last Black Friday as I don't generally shop at Walmart. The store was fairly busy, as to be expected. But the lines weren't very long. They actually had a decent number of registers open. I found the Black Friday deals i was looking for fairly quickly, so I wasn't in the store very long. I checked out at self checkout but the lady standing by greeted me as I left. She was nice and my overall experience wasn't bad at all.

Still on hold dialing 0 for associate who finally answered and immediately asked me to hold. No answer in electronics, the dept. I need.

I typically frequent the Sawmill location but I was at Easton anyways and it's pretty much the same if not slightly bigger. There are so many different things I love to get on a regular basis but I will highlight a few favorites in my pictures. The staff are always so friendly despite crowds and lines on weekends, and the prices are always on point. If you are busy and want to eat good food with minimal effort on budget, this is your spot.

Trader Joe's has become my default grocery stop when I want something a little different--or when I…read moreneed to feel better about spending money on snacks I didn't plan for. One of my favorite things about shopping here is that it feels less like an errand and more like a fun little game to discover something new. It's the kind of thing I'd mention if someone asked, "So what did you get into this weekend?"--because yes, wandering the aisles counts as an activity in my book. You walk in and the flower section is overflowing with fresh bundles that look way more expensive than they are. I've grabbed plenty--mums, thistles, lilies--and they last longer than anything I've picked up at big chain stores. Even a $5 bouquet makes the week feel brighter. The layout is easy to navigate without feeling crowded, and the staff are always kind if you need help. You'll see everyone from college students to grandparents to parents with kids shopping, and it never feels intimidating. There's a low-key community vibe, too. People will chat about what's good, especially if you look undecided in front of the freezer section. I've ended up trying things because someone insisted I had to--like the Watermelon Cucumber Cooler. A stranger was raving about it, so I grabbed a bottle, and she was right. Make sure you drink it cold. I've been swapping snack reviews with my nephew. He's hooked on the Spicy Tempura Seaweed Snack--light, crispy, salty, with a little heat. I'm partial to their bruschetta sauce and the hot fudge, which somehow doesn't taste like the usual heavy fudge. The lemonades are usually the reason I come here. The Jalapeño Limeade, Spicy Mango Lemonade, and classic Limeade are always in my fridge. Refreshing without being too sweet, and perfect for mixing drinks. Prices are fair enough that you can try something new without feeling like you've splurged. Whether you eat vegan, gluten-free, or just want to try something different, there's something here for everyone. The freezer meals can be hit or miss. Some need a little extra seasoning, but the Chicken Shawarma Bowl is a solid quick lunch. If you have an air fryer, grab the Jalapeño & Cream Cheese Crispy Wontons--they turn out golden and crunchy every time. Their sauces deserve a shoutout. The Peri-Peri Sauce is fantastic on tacos or eggs--tangy, smoky, and way more flavorful than you'd expect for a $3 bottle. And while you're in line, don't skip the greeting cards. They're 99 cents and surprisingly cute. Trader Joe's even has an Instagram and a podcast with recipes and ideas, which is fun if you like feeling part of the community. Overall, this is the kind of store you walk into for groceries and leave with a few treats, something new to love, and maybe a bouquet. If you've been here, share your must-try recommendations--I'm always looking for something different to throw in the cart.

A Perfect Day at North Market: Vibrant Atmosphere and Excellent Food…read more My husband and I stopped by North Market near the Arena District today while exploring Columbus, and it was an excellent experience. With a volleyball tournament taking place at the Convention Center, the market was absolutely hopping! The atmosphere was electric, filled with a lively buzz and wonderful aromas wafting from the various food stalls. We split up to try different vendors: I grabbed a meal at Colo Market and Oyster Bar, while my husband got his at Pastaria. Both choices were fantastic, delivering on flavor and quality. Beyond the great food, the ambiance was perfect for people-watching, capturing the energy of the district on a busy day. Whether you're a local or just visiting Columbus, North Market is a must-include on your itinerary. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a vibrant setting.
