I try to avoid Walmart as it is, but this one is probably the worst I've been to. The only reason I stopped here was because Walmart sells these baby blankets that I like to use in my pups' kennels. They are cheap and my two chihuahuas love them. I can't find any that are just as cheap at other stores. With that said, I will never step foot in this Walmart again. I'd rather drive 30 minutes to the one in Pearland before coming to this one. My husband and I were visiting other stores nearby so we found it convenient to stop here. This place is so unorganized and dirty. Packed to the extreme with tons of kids yelling and running around. It seemed like every customer had 4-5 kids running around the store (none being disciplined). There were carts in every isle with rejected items in them that apparently needed to be put back on the shelves. There was only 1 person in front of us at the check out line, but of course...it still took forever to check out. Parking lot was just as dirty. Two words- NO THANKS! read more

This place is so ghetto when I came here with my two year old I was blown away by how disgusting this place is.. Not only were there many young employees were sitting out front smoking and congregating and just sitting around but they where so loud and obnoxious. The WORST EVER!!!!!! On top of something ALWAYS being down or out of order in the store the customer service is HORRID. Clearly management here did not undergo any training nor does previous experience seem to be a required qualification. With this being said I am baffled as to why they have a customer service. As I presently stand in line to pick up an item that was delivered to this location, there is ONE associate working with a line that has 13 customers waiting. This location is in desperate need of a sweep. Sweep out the employees who carry themselves as if working is such a problem, who show no signs of proper customer service and or retention and replace them with individuals whom want to actually work and understand what it takes to be a productive worker. read more

If I could give it no stars, I would. I hate this place but go to it because of the location convenience. Besides them having a really sweet and friendly employee in the garden center, all the other employees are a POS. I went in a few months ago when I was about 8 months pregnant with a big ol belly to make a payment for my moms Walmart credit card and I asked a manager if I could pay at a self checkout but she said no, I would have to go to a register or to customer service. Customer service had a long line so I got in line at a regular register. When I got to the front I told the girl I was making a payment and she told me I had to go to customer service. I told her I was told I can come pay at the register. She then says, "I have people waiting in line so I can't do it." I got so pissed off and told her I had been standing in line just like everyone else so I didn't care because someone told me a could pay there. She asks me who told me and what they were wearing and I told her it was a lady wearing a yellow Walmart vest. She hugged and puffed and asked for my card. Eventually taking my payment. You have no idea how bad I wanted to strangle the b*tch. I'm Hispanic and she was Hispanic, you'd think the b*tch would treat her own people better. read more

Just had the dis-pleasure of visiting the South Post Oak Wal-Mart location. Now, I usually patron the South Rice Wal-Mart location; but this one is closer to our home. I actually read some very bad reviews regarding customer service and managers with bad dispositions;but to my detriment, I ignored them. I needed to make an electronic payment, and I'd already been informed that I no longer needed to fill out a form; because my information was saved in the system via my phone number. There was one gentleman ahead of me, and I'm not sure of his transaction; but he was rudely told to step aside and fill out a form. He tried to say something; but she just reiterated the same statement...with just a tad more rudeness. Surely that wouldn't be the case for me; I'd already been informed that I was in the system...right? Wrong!! She was equally as rude to me by stating, without looking me in the eye, "You need to fill out that form over there" as she pointed. I tried to explain that I was already in the system. Without her explaining, she just said "You still need to fill out that form." At this point, I stated that I would visit a different location; and I politely left. Ordered some prints on Walmart.com and they were supposed to be in by now but I have yet to receive my follow up email confirming they have been delivered. Tried calling the store and waited a solid 15 minutes for anyone to even pick up. Finally got the electronics dept and the guy was fairly nice but all he said was "they're not here so I don't know what to tell you". Online says they SHOULD have been delivered. Easy enough. Taking it a bit further, I decided to call the corporate office to see if they could help. Waited 26 minutes and 48 seconds to get a human on the phone. Boom, not only can he not help me but sends me to another dead end which resulted in another 10+ minute wait that I eventually gave up on. Normally I would brush it off as I expect Walmart to be staffed by (mostly) incompetent nitwits who can't form structured sentences but this is a extensive order that was necessary for a work project. If you plan on using Walmart for photos, don't. Spend the extra money and go to a Kinkos or something of the sort. read more

Seriously one of the worst stores I've ever been to and I understand most walmarts are but I drive all the way to stafford just to go to that walmart because the ones in southwest houston are so ghetto and the people there are rude. It's more of a social time for the employees then actually helping the customer. I was looking for a specific item that according to the website was at the south post oak location and when I went to find it and I asked someone I was told that they didn't have it and when I ask if they could assist me in looking for it because I knew it was there she proceeded to tell me that she wouldn't even know where it would be. Now this was a plug in fan I was looking for. I know all it takes is a GED or hs diploma to work here but I feel that either these people are lazy or shouldn't be working at a place like this. This Walmart is closest to me and though I rarely go to one, I made a special trip to this location to check on a TV I was considering purchasing... WOW - this store is kind of a hot mess dumpster fire. The parking lot was filthy with trash lying about, and the store was also disheveled. I am not sure how much of this is the actual store or the clientele, but it certainly made me regret the decision to drive over this box. I will stick with my local Target instead - which seems to keep its store and parking areas a lot cleaner and safer feeling! read more

i just came to your store for the last time. Decided to drop by to pick up a pair of jeans on the way out of town and asked to try them on. Store open 24 hours, but dressing rooms open at 7 am. It was 6:57. Got told no. I will not be there again. It makes no sense to have a 24/7 store where there are employees hanging about the dressing room areas, but you cannot try on anything. I had thought I would give your store one more chance, but that was it! How can you expect to keep customers with such rigid rules? If I could give them a negative review I would!! I purchased ink from this location only to find out it doesn't work. So I call to see what I need to do and the employees weren't very helpful. I never got an answer from the department that I called for and was routed to another department. The department that picked up told me ohh you need to be transferred to the electronics department, which I called in the first place transferred me again only to not get an answer. I stayed on hold for 20+ mins for me to be transferred to the electronics department, which never answered!! So I call again to figure out what to do and by this time it's almost 9 o'clock and I'm on my way up there because no one can seem to help me over the phone. I tried calling again this time to speak with a manager "Holly", mind you I'm 5mins away and she basically told me to come back in the morning. I explained to her I had been on hold forever, no one seem to be of help, and I was almost there. I also told her this was the only time I could come to do this and she told me well you can go to another Walmart that closes at 10 and they can do it. This is very inconvenient and disturbing!! I just bought a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean toothbrush from this store. When I went home and opened it later that night, it was an old, dirty, toothbrush and wasn't what I purchased! I went to customer service the next morning and asked for a full refund or an exchange for the correct Sonicare toothbrush. The manager refused to give me both. An employee told me that the manufacturer put the wrong brush in the there. I didn't buy that for the the following reasons. First, the box looked very old. I think it had been used for many months and had been sitting on that shelf for all that time. Secondly. Wal-Mart employees can remove the sealed security devices on packages. An employee obviously removed the seal, put an old Sonicare toothbrush inside, and re-sealed it. That is tampering and that is a crime. I returned home and called the manufacturer and told them about this issue. I provided them with the serial number was told that this toothbrush was five years old! That is disgusting! That means an employee put a five year old used toothbrush back in the box, re-sealed it, and put it on the shelf! The manufacturer mailed me the correct Sonicare toothbrush in exchange for the old, dirty one. I didn't have to pay any fee. The outcome was resolved and worked in my favor. But the manager is stupid and I'm never returning to this Wal-Mart. Better ones out there! read more
