Also, when they're not open, and I leave a voicemail request, they mostly don't respond. I have to call back the next day and during national holidays, they don't answer the phone at all.

Walgreens, CVS, Brookshires (Onalaska, Trinity), and even…read morethe medical supply store in Livingston, Walsons, do not carry arm slings for some reason that I cannot discern. Walmart carries them, but theirs used Velcro that did not hold very good and came apart. I thought I was going to have to go to Houston for a simple arm sling. I called Lifecheck and the woman that I spoke to was very nice and let me know that carried arm slings and they were not the Velcro kind. I got to the store a little after 5 and easily found the sling, made the purchase and was on my way in more comfort than when I arrived. They have some other stuff there too like nick-nacky things, candles, and some toys. I have not used Lifecheck as a pharmacy though because I use the VA so I cannot comment on that aspect of the store. The attendants were really nice though so I imagine the pharmacy service is fine. It is a smaller place, but its also in a smaller town.

The staff are ill trained, the pharmacist is not fully knowledgeable,…read moreand you are placing yourself in less-than-professional hands at this pharmacy. 9 of 10 times prescriptions are either not ready when promised, the staff serving you do not know how to do the most simple things in their computer system, or something else goes wrong ( i.e. a prescription that I was told was ready , when I arrived to pick up, was told they had a 3 day order backlog). The final straw that made me give up was when the pharmacist provided me information that was completely wrong, and I ultimately had to change my prescription to a real pharmacy ( national chain) after thinking about doing so for some time. Avoid this amateurish operation and take your business elsewhere.
