I have never been in a Walmart that has not wanted me to buy their merchandise. I opened a box that was on the floor that was about to be stocked looking for a unique item and a front end manger comes over and reads me the riot act. This store is a general run of the mill walmart store. They do keep the shelves well stocked and this store tends to be cleaner than other walmart in the area. The staff here is horrible, I picked up some dog bowls that were marked at 2.78, took them up to the register and they rang up at 12.98. I took the manager on duty to the shelf where a whole stack of the bowls were stacked. He still refused to honor the price. I filed a complaint with weights and measures. This has happened multiple times at this location. I have filed multiple complaints and as of recent has just started to turn around on this. One good thing is that they do honor ad matching with no argument. I live nearby and shop here more than I care to, but at least I don't need to argue about the price at other stores with them. read more

Walmart is what it is..a no apologies discount mega store. If I don't like the surly looks from the cashiers I use the self checkout, which is most often the case. The prices are cheap and you can return almost anything no questions asked. If you want nice cashiers go down to Target, you'll save less but have that warm fuzzy shopping experience. read more

This is definitely the best Wal-Mart in Tucson. It is very big and clean, with a wide variety of items. This is the only Wal-Mart I enjoy shopping at, even though is not the closest to my house. Another great plus is that is open 24 hours. read more

This is one of the nicer Walmarts in Tucson. They had exactly what we needed and the lines were not too long.

Your average, run of the mill Walmart stock full of rude and uninterested staff. Just really meh. Their produce and meat selection/quality is awful. I normally only purchase dog food and personal essentials (I.e. Deodorant, shampoo, face wash, etc) because of the cheap prices. Definitely a target person and this walmart helps me make that choice! Employees are nearly always rude (with the occasional good one). Customer service only has 1-2 people at most so there is always a ridiculous line! It's always pretty dirty and cart people are out very very occasionally. The only reason I come here and not to target is cuz they're less than a mile away where target is about 5-10 miles, across the freeway. read more

With 6 people with full baskets in line waiting they refused to open up one more of their 16 isles. I was told to go to another register and someone would be there. 5 minutes later nothing. I live 3 miles from this walmart but had to drive accross town for paint because there paint mixing machine is broke!

The store is usually pretty clean and well laid-out, and it's a decently enjoyable shopping experience, but they NEVER have more than one checkout lane open at night. It's cool to be able to go in and get what I need at 1AM, but when 50 other people have the same idea, and there's one checkout lane, it becomes a less savory experience. It's pretty much your average Walmart. Inexpensive, but you pay for it by sacrificing time and service. read more

The WM back home was a Super Center as well, but this one was like HOLY $#$*@# it is big! a very odd layout compared to any other Walmart i have been in. Very busy on the days we had went to. but its right off the interstate err i mean freeway lol so i get it. this one was way better then the trashy one on la cholla. over all, all WM have the same cheaply made, cheaply priced stuff at each store. but very nice very clean and very neat yet odd lay out compared to the others! read more

Wish I could do ZERO Stars! Awful deceitful place. I lost a small bag from my purse there. It contained a credit slip from bookmans, Kohls cash, several Starbucks gift cards as well as my Starbucks gold card, receipts from stores and other purse "stuff". There were several items that had my name on them. Walmart has a book at customer service where they "log" items that have been turned in. I called Walmart. Yes, the bag was there! I told them it would be a couple days before I could make it out there. Not a problem they said. I went to get the bag, waited 20 minutes for a manager to unlock the front office to get it.... no bag. But, there my name was, in the log book, on April 5th along with a description of the bag. - They took my name and number, would talk with the daytime staff and call me back. They never did. 2 weeks and 4 phone calls later (with several transfers each call), still no bag. One manager, Mr. Reed, did not even know they had a log book, then he said "well it's been over 3 weeks....." read more

Worst experience ever. I had called about an item at the store because they didn't have it at the Walmart on la cholla. And I asked them if they had this toy and they put me on hold three damn times. Kept asking what was it that I was looking for. And the last time they asked me I was said the same thing and they said to me yeah let me check. They hung up on me. Then my boyfriend called them again and asked the same thing and they answered quick saying they had a lot of them. So we went down then was like 5-10 mile drive maybe. We show up looking for it and the whole alley was completely empty. I was so pissed that I was going to complain to their manger. Unfortunately I did not get the lady's name that "helped" me out. I do all my grocery shopping here. Seems to be busiest after work so I avoid that time and go early in the morning. Always have what I need or can get help from an employee. Haven't experienced anyone with an attitude, maybe because I'm not bringing one into the store!:) I like that I can get my oil changed or get tires put on and shop while that is getting done. Walmart does not believe in customer satisfaction. I purchased a small bicycle with training wheels at Christmas, for my four year old grandson. I also purchased the extended two year warranty. My grandson preferred the tricycle and was a bit leary to ride the bike. He did ride it eventually but the plastic clip that holds the seat to the post snapped and broke. I gave my son-in-law the warranty papers last week and he went to Walmart to get the seat replaced. The store at Cortaro refused to help and told him to contact the second party warranty company. A few days later my son-in-law was told the warranty does not cover consumable parts. I spoke to a Walmart manager myself and basically I was told that the store policy was to not warranty the bike after 90 days and that the warranty was out of their hands. I explained that a little four year old boy wasn't distructive enough to break cheaply made bike seats and I didn't understand why Walmart wasn't stepping up to keep the customer happy considering I had a warranty. Also that in another year , a happy customer would continually purchase the next sizes in bikes for.their grandson. The store manager refused to be helpful. Basically Walmart just doesn't care. From now on, I will purchase from Amazon, Costco, or Dick's sporting goods where customer satisfaction comes first. read more
