I've been a Costco member since 2011 and have always loved the customer service. Unfortunately, my recent return experience at the Costco on Costco Drive in Tucson was disappointing. While returning clothing items, the employee assisting me Sienna seemed annoyed throughout the transaction, making comments to coworkers and displaying negative body language that made me feel like I was inconveniencing the staff. The return was completed, and I appreciate the employees who helped, but the overall experience felt unwelcoming. This is the first time I've experienced service like this at Costco, and it fell short of the friendly, professional service I've come to expect over the years. read more

This is the only Costco I've ever been to, so I don't have much to compare it to. While it's super busy, it is truly a well oiled machine. Food court is fast and efficient, samples are plentiful, and check out is quick, and usually very friendly. I've made some great finds here like a $20 Pendleton soft throw, Minnie Mouse outfits for my daughter, and various fun kids' activities. Parking can be a little difficult, and sometimes other patrons can be quite aggressive. Overall, though, this Costco is always fun to shop at. read more

The dining area is under construction so there little space to sit and eat especially with customers needing their big shopping carts next to them, then it's impossible to squeeze by. Busy but efficient, they always run things here smoothly. Don't be intimidated by the busy parking lot and high traffic in the store. Once you are exiting, you will totally feel like it was worth it! During any holiday they have a great selection of home decor, gifts, and goodies. Valentine's day load up on chocolates from all over the world. Easter get your basket full of candies, chocolates, and cute little bunnies. Peeps of multiple colors and cute fluffy bunnies. During Halloween you can get huge yard displays and loads of large bags of candy with plenty of variety for everyone. Thanksgiving turkeys are here. Also during Christmas you can get a turkey, ham, pot roasts, and a legit prime rib! Really the meat section year round is amazing! I love the clothing section. Colombia, 32 degree, Carter's, Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, and Eddie Bauer to name a few. The prices cannot be beat! They also have good discounted items. The jackets and sweat suits are my favorite. Some items here you can always find but others can come and go. Sometimes I find items I love but then I go back and they don't have them anymore so no guarantees. If you find something you like I suggest you stock up. The coffee is always a good price as well as items you always need like toilet paper and paper towels. Laundry detergent and ziploc bags, as well as tinfoil are a must to get! You will get the best price. The check-out line moves fast if you want that option it is available here. The line may look long but it moves fast trust me. Sometimes staff will even help you scan items making it very convenient. The number one reason I choose to shop at Costco is the return policy! Folks listen up. Costco has a return policy of any item including food! As long as the food isn't expired, if you were not satisfied for any reason, you can return it! If you buy electronics or say a vacuum and it stops working after a few years, and you are not satisfied in any way, you can return it! The customer service here exceeds every expectation. The hearing aid center personnel at the Costco hearing aid center at the East Grant Street location are always rude and dismissive. My last visit I asked for a pack of ear wax filters showing them which ones fit and which ones fall out. They handed me a pack and said these are all by the same manufacturer so they will fit yours. The ones they gave me won't stay in. I think that they think all old people are stupid and they don't like their job. I have been treated the same on at least three different visits. read more

A bit of shopping today at Costco before the holidays. They have TV's on sale so I got one. It's been years last time I purchased a TV. Costco gives you additional warranty years on it. Easy to use with Netflix, Apple AirPlay mode and many other features and no need for extra remote or equipment. Who doesn't love Samsung brand TV? I think it's the best after Sony. My last Samsung TV lasted over 20 yrs and I donated and it was still in perfect working condition. Good value for the money and quick service today even though the store was super busy. I've been a Costco member since 1985 when they were The Price Club. This location is my favorite in Tucson and I really enjoy shopping here. They consistently have sales on popular items and add new items all the time. Prices can be really good, although it is worth checking prices at other retailers as. you may get them less. The $5 roasted chicken is a deal you can pass up. And the $1.50 hot dog/soda deal is amazing. Really good hot dog. This location just moved their food court indoors which is a nice improvement. Negative 1 star for the awful treatment I received from a guy named 'Willie' who works in the front of the store checking people's memberships. He and his 'supervisor' were really rude and borderline aggressive towards me when I tried to pick up my eyeglasses from the optical department. However 5 stars for BETH in the optical department! Ok, so my son and I came to Costco after he got off from work on Thursday December 4th about 6:30 pm. First off the parking lot is dark you can't see anything. The place is always packed so we had to park on the outskirts of the parking lot. Get into the store people push you if you're not moving fast enough, I'm handicap and deaf, so I don't walk fast. Got only a few things which was over 50.00!! Check out was a breeze since they did a pre- check out. Went to leave and the people driving cars don't care if your in the road trying to cross they will run you over, they don't stop if they see someone trying to cross. We almost got run over in the Dark parking lot by someone in an SUV speeding through the parking lot. It's very dangerous to go to Costco and try to get into the store. People back up without looking. Can't afford much in there anymore so I'll be considering a different store to go to. read more

Called customer service and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it because it was now expired even though they can see on their end the dates I tried using the code in my cart. Had to leave a glowing review for the Costco tire center. I showed up at 8 pm with a donut tire after I got a flat tire on my way to California. Was just checking to see about getting it in the next day but they went above and beyond and replaced my tires to make sure it was taken care of right away. have used Costco gas in many places across the country in this particular place it was clean and well attended with staff available to help you no matter what type of situation you may need from forgetting your card to trouble at the pump. Costco has lots of things for the consumer to feel good about 1st of all the quality of their gas is excellent especially for the price point and I really need premium and it's anywhere from 10 to 20 cents a gallon less than is in the general market. It's a great value. The quality of their goods are also excellent in the store. Including lots of organic food in the crazy value of their $5 roasted chicken just like a miniature turkey. But most important they pay a livable wage for their average employees including health care and benefits and I always want to support a large port a large retail Box store that does this type of thing. read more

This is for the Costco Food Court specifically: they have a sign near the registers that say you can call in to order a pizza. We called and we're told they do not accept phone orders. WTAF?! Another time we paid for pizza and a chicken bake, stood in line and then we're told it would be 30 minutes for the pizza but they gave us the chicken bake. DUDE! why do I want my chicken bake now when the rest of my food is not ready for another half an hour? I'm taking this home and now the person eating the chicken bake will have food that is nearly an hour old, after I wait for the pizza and drive home. Definitely room for improvement when it comes to common sense and customer service. read more

I don't have a Costco membership but my friend does & we went in here when I was visiting Tucson the other day to buy some Carne Asada that they sell which is the BOMB!!! Place was busy, but not too bad to be able to get in & out of. It seems all the Costco's I've ever been in are always busy. Was kinda cool to see their food court outside vs inside like the ones in Las Vegas do. There is soooo much stuff in this store to look @ and buy! Seemed that they weren't really enforcing social distancing with people in line to get out or the people in the food lines but shame on the customers for not doing this to begin with. Costco is Costco to me. I don't feel like there is one location that stands out over another - they're always busy and have aisle upon aisle of good deals. I will say that the last two times I've visited this location, the self checkout associates have been rushed and rude. I know we're all stressed this holiday season and I understand when someone has a bad day, but it seems to be becoming a regular occurrence that's causing me to avoid self checkout. read more

NE location is my main go to because they stock most of the items I use and prefer. Mixed feelings about the new order yourself kiosk at the foodcourt. Just remember, that jobs are important for all skill levels in humans. This Costco is generally busy on the weekends, and it's a guarantee that the gas pumps are busy. The attendants are always helpful and I love seeing fellow Tucsonans helping out people struggling w the pumps. TY T-Town for being kind! Warehouse itself is one of the nicer ones around, but the parking lot is an unmitigated disaster. Doesn't matter what day or time you come in, you're going to struggle to find a spot. Once you're in the warehouse, it'll be packed, but the lines move quickly and if you're able to, definitely take advantage of the self checkout lines for the speediest option possible. read more

I've been to two different locations here & by far this is my favorite. Every time I come here it's busy but it's to be expected. It's a very large Costco with so much more selection. I always find something I didn't know I needed. The prices are great but of course everything is in bulk. Most times if I purchase something that is perishable I just share with my neighbors as I know I won't be able to consume it before it goes bad. Each time i repeated myself you berated and began to personally insult me more. After the fifth time i politely told you the stock was empty you finally walked 10 feet around the corner to look and shot me a defeated but dirty expression and said "well you still need to get someone in a red vest to get it for you". At a Not very busy day, checking out a few but heavy big items in my cart last week, going towards the self check, there are 4-5 employees helping customers with scanning their shopping. There is this guy who is standing himself next to an available scanning station, but pointing me to another available machine with no attendee. What's the catch here? If you are there to do the job and help customers out with scanning, then suck it up and do it. If you don't like your job for any reasons, do NOT come out of your house. There are 60 cameras all around the check outs, so I am sure this kind of routine behavior is visible to whomever watching them. I assure you it does not take a genius to spot it. Go at your own peril this time of year. No sanitizer and lots of snow birds bringing their colds etc to us. We went this week and both my husband and I are now sick. Also got their hot dog good deal they offer and the noise of the air conditioning in the eating area was beyond loud and people so rude. Not that way in the summer mo when mostly locals. I've noticed a lot of previously important people (called pips) in the stores lately where almost run over by people in such a rush to be first everywhere and apparently entitled to be that way. We all know Costco rocks for the most part so this little review is for something else ~ the way they treat children. It's been a million years since I was at Costco with little ones in tow but I went last night with my daughter and her 18 month old and 3 year old. On our way out, the 3-year old wanted to give the receipt to the employee at the door who checks your basket against your receipt. The guy checked our stuff all the while smiling and talking to the kids. Then he handed the receipt back to her with a cute little smiley face on the back written in his pink marker. My daughter told me that ALL the employees do that EVERY single time, no matter how busy they are. Such a day brightener in a world that gets so hustle and bustle that children are often looked upon as noisy little nuisances. Thanks Costco! read more

I love Costco. I've been converted about a year ago and this location is very conveniently located by the freeway. They have a good stock and I've always been impressed with the speed and professionalism of their staff. Costco gas is great, and costco tire has great deals. Signing up for service was easy and informative. The only thing that removed a star was their parking situation. The lot itself is really rough to get in and out of. Be aware of how busy this location gets post work and on weekends. I try to avoid any time of day that provides those free samples, as it gets too crowded and I can't move my cart around easily in the aisles. read more
