I was in town for a marathon and stop in here to buy some drinks and snacks. This particular Target was easy to find. It was off of Broadway Blvd just north of the Randolph Dell Urich Golf Course. It's also part of the El Con Center shopping mall, so there's other stores and plenty of nearby restaurants. Prices weren't the lowest that I've seen, but they were decent. The store was clean, well-organized, well-stocked, and well-maintained. It was easy for me to find my items and then pay using one of the easy-to-use self-checkout kiosks. read more

The 1st thing to remember is that everyone is struggling with staff and to be kind to the staff who are there in trying to help people. I found that staff were more than willing to help me and would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather than just give me general directions and send me on my way. I also struggle with reaching for some water bottle Items that are difficult to get on the top shelf and staff have always been willing to get them for me. Some people complain that things are locked up. But I understand because there's organized groups that steal things and then result them in local neighborhoods. The Security are at a disadvantage because they can't physically restrain people. It's a sad commentary on people. This Target was remodeled and has a wonderful deli area. The store was clean and well organized. It was a typical Target. I use them as one of my "go to" places when I have an extended stay while traveling. Target has all kinds of products that are appropriate for young families. My particular area of interest is their paper products and groceries. It's where I go to get my bulk paper towels and my bulk Kleenex. This particular Target has a typical, well stocked grocery area they have all the items that you could ever need. They have increased there ethnic food choices dramatically.They have high quality in fresh food, frozen food, and dry goods. They have a great beverage selection, including water. Health drinks and wine and alcohol. I find that I can usually get in-and-out in a very timely manner. It's grateful value for your money. read more

I was running some errands in that part of town, so stopped in to pick up a couple of items. I was instantly impressed with the cleanliness and good vibe of the store. I was looking for three specific items and was able to find a worker in each of the areas to ask where to find them. They no longer carry one of the items, but they were able to help me locate the other two. It was nice not to have to search and search for someone to answer my questions. Both items were on par, pricewise, with other stores where I've gotten them before. read more

Everytime I go to this target it hurts my brain because just about every item is locked and none of the staff comes even when you request "a team member" or when they do come, they say they don't have keys and can't help and I'm stuck trying to track down another employee. This is the worst target in Tucson. If you're going to have stuff locked up have members near that section with the keys so I don't have to spend an hour in this store because of your efficient staffing. read more

I never thought I'd spend time on Yelp reviewing a Target. But the service at this Target is exceptional. I have lived all over the country and have had a local Target in each place that I frequented. They have all been fine places to shop, but nothing memorable. Every time we walk into this Target, several people greet my husband and I. If I am looking for something and can't find it, someone may actually stop to help me. My husband and I even got an impromptu restaurant recommendation from an employee when we were standing in line for the self-checkout. Working in retail is tough and exhausting. Hats off to this Target crew for making it look easy. read more

What is going on? This Target has really gone downhill. Trashes inside and out are overflowing. Bathrooms (men) are broken and filthy.. like filthy filthy. Stolen items/containers in the bathrooms as well (can't blame the company for this but it does show the quality of customers that have moved in, which reminds me of the guys out front asking for money). Honestly, I've held off from leaving a review for quite some time; however, last night frustrated me. I attempted to purchase a PS5 online, didn't work. So I needed some products from the store and just went in. I asked an associate whether they had some in stock; I was told there were 7 in stock... I wondered if I could purchase one; they said they are available; however, I need to go through the website. He confirmed with me, they are definitely in stock, and I could do it there. I went on the app, didn't work. He said, "yeah, that happens to everyone." when in my iPad, same issue. I went home and did it on my computer, the same problem. So here is where we are at; I confirmed the product was in stock, refused the ability to purchase, and was referred online. Online was down, and there was no alternative. Making purchasing a product inaccessible to the customer is bad business. read more

Hello Everyone, I love target but because the staff even the managers and supervisors are so young there are issues needing to be corrected. 1. When a customer goes up to a staff member and ask that staff member where to find something it would be better in my opinion if that staff member walked the customer to that item instead of pointing or trying to explain it which will only get the customer lost. Come on staff member a little walking will do you good not only for the exercise you probably need but for good customer service, 2. When a manager at 10 in the morning sees a long line of people at the do it yourself check-out WHY are you okay with all the registers empty. There are plenty of people on the floor doing inventory that know how to run the register and it is unacceptable to make customers wait for no reason except your laziness to act upon a situation that needs immediate resolution. It feels odd to be leaving a review for a Target, but alas here I am. This is for sure my favorite Target in Tucson, and it's not just because it's the closest to me, I promise! When I first moved here and learned about the Super Target I was so sure I'd be quickly obsessed, but I just don't love it like I thought I would. This Target, however, is always well stocked, clean, organized, has a super friendly staff, and feels a manageable size to me (unlike the Super Target.) Now that it's been remodeled, I love it even more! It has such a crisp, trendy feel to it, I feel weirdly fancy for being in a Target, which I kind of love. It is honestly my first stop for anything and everything I need because it just makes my life so *easy*. This is a great store and location! Way better than the Super Target in town. I have never had a bad experience, as it is well managed and there are always enough registers open to make checking out a breeze, even when the store is busy. The store is always clean, and there are barely any empty shelves within It has also recently been remodeled. The layout is well done, making it a breeze to walk through the the aisles. It doesn't have that cluttered feel that a lot of Target stores possess, which makes it more fun for me to shop, since I dislike shopping in clutter (don't get me started on the DVD bin!). Overall, I highly recommend coming here. It is well managed, and the layout could not be any better. read more

What a shame. Target at El Con has been such a lovely store, and I have done almost all my shopping there for years. Now, sadly, the El Con Target has partnered with AT&T, to allow their salespeople to solicit inside the store. My last time in the store, someone with AT&T waved me down across the store and called to me, asking me to take some survey. I quietly, politely made it clear that I didn't want to engage in conversation, but the person continued to follow me and call after me, saying that she had questions for me to answer, something about a promotion, etc. This is very rude behavior. I spoke to the manager, and the upshot is that this is the new normal at Target El Con. It is their store, and they can manage it however they wish. But I refuse to shop at a store that knowingly allows its guests to be subjected to such discourteous behavior. As I said, what a shame. Frankly, why would anyone go to Target at all, to be treated like this, when it is just as easy to order things from other vendors at home? Remember Sears. I was recently at Target at the Oracle and Rodger location. As it turns out as was not in a particularly good mood mostly due to the temperature of 103 but as we all know in tucson after the temp reaches 100 it might as well be 200 because i really can't feel the difference . but after entering the store there was not one employee that did not stop what they were doing to say hello I must have said hello 15 times in the 20 minuets in the store. This review is long overdue but I came in on Black Friday to get a few items and while things were a little hectic Damien had a great attitude and was more than happy to assist me. The best Target in town. Five stars for drive up service (which I use way more than I care to admit but a necessity for someone who has with two young children). The staff is always so nice when I do drive up and sometimes they're already waiting outside before I even pull up. Inside the customer service is a bit iffy and they are often not stocked well whenever I happen to go but this is by far my most favorite Target in Tucson. read more

This is a great Target- it was remodeled a couple of years ago and a grocery section was added in. Why 4 stars and not 5? Some sections of the store always seems ransacked and the lines can be out of control sometimes, even though there are tons of registers. On more than one occasion, I haven't been able to find something at my "home" Target, but have found it at this Target. A surprise, considering that most of the items are clothing and I just assume (wrongly) that the U of A crowd has already hit up the racks. Always a pleasant surprise. There's definitely a higher population of U of A students here, but it's not bad, but I'd like to echo Melissa J and say: steer clear of this Target the week before and after classes start. Great store/location! Good products and prices, great staff but terrible management (this location has never had decent management). Target's online store order processing/shipping is slightly slow. If you sign up for one of Target's registries make sure you inform people to notify the cashiers at the time of purchase if they're purchasing a gift off/for your registry or they will not record the item on the registry ...otherwise they won't return or exchange the item if the person who purchased the gift does not provide a gift receipt. read more

BAD CHARACTERS in the Independent contactors with ATT at the El Con store. Beware! Found out I am not the only one. I'm with another cell company. Just a small side question. Didn't realize they aren't Target employees. Saw my white beard, started talking how 3G phones are phasing out of service. But a special promo to 5G. Told him I'm only paying 32-37 per mo. Ah, but since I am with AARP I get $10 off per mo, and no activation fee---- $10 is Only for first ten mo. and yes on activation fee. Plus pay for phone only $3 mo(true) plus veteran discount blah blah like a 25% discount. First bill would be a little high but 2nd 3rd billing would get credits back. TRUTH is $ 134 first bill, $55 restocking fee maybe pro rated daily usage? Unclear. Customer service didn't want to talk of the $134. Sent an MRA. 3 weeks to acknowledge. Two small fees charged an a small credit for who knows what. This is still with no clear ending. Two actual ATT outlets I won't mention know of these bad actors that will do and say anything for a commission . On said they have a list of nearly 30 names. read more

Love this Target! Great place to go just right before they close. No crowds, I hate crowds. We ended up buying this area rug that looks great in our living room. They even opened a lane just for us as we walked up to pay for the rug. I felt like I was in a dream where you zip right through the checkout. Not a huge fan of this Target in particular. I like Target a lot, but this one just seems chaotic, unorganized and it's always hard to find help here. The front entrance is always crowded with people and it can be hard to maneuver through if it's busy. It seems like most of what I need is always way in the back, making me walk through everything to get what I need. The biggest annoyance is the lack of red shirt sightings. Just last night I needed a specific light bulb. I wandered around the light bulb section for about four or five minutes and never saw anyone. I had to run to electronics, have him page someone, go back, and then wait another three minutes. Almost ten minutes to get a light bulb. I wish I could say this is my only story like this, but there are more. I'll spare you! The one star they get above the obligatory one star review is speed of checkout. They do a great job of keeping the cashier area well staffed and I never have to wait more than one or two people and often I can slide right in. If this is your closest Target, then deal with it like me. But if you have options, I suggest using them! read more

I love Target so much, I am considering naming my next pet Bullseye, in their honor, or maybe Tarje. Seriously, it's love. The prices are slightly higher than the evil blue big box store, but it is well worth those extra pennies to shop at Target. No matter what I need, a quick birthday gift, a snack, an outfit, and now groceries, Target is always happy to oblige. Their debit card that is linked to your checking account saves you an automatic 5%, which adds up when you are a Target stalker like me. The layout of their stores makes it so easy to shop and spend more! The overall quality of the items like clothing, home decor and up and up products makes me giggle with excitement, you can look stylish, have a chic home and save a ton of money while doing it. I go to Target way way way too often. But I cannot resist it's call out to me. This one is pretty fantastic. It has a layout that makes sense, it's always clean, and you can usually check out pretty painlessly. Here, unlike a few other Targets, they note pretty quickly when there aren't enough cashiers and call more employees us to open more cash registers. My only complaint with this Target is the parking. It just doesn't work. It doesn't matter if the store isn't busy, you're never going to park in a spot that feels close to the front doors. And then it always feels like you're dodging other cars walking into the door. But aside from the car situation it's great. Also here is my tip for all you Yelpers out there. Avoid this Target like the plague during the weeks leading up to the start of the UofA school year. Resist the urge to enter, just find another Target. Doing those few weeks this place is a mad house of students and their parents navigating the store looking for cleaning products that will collect dust for 9 months. Great business for Target, not great for your speedy shopping trip. read more

Are you tired of people justifying poor customer service and bad attitudes with the excuse of COVID 19? Then go to this Target and you will be pleasantly surprised. There were helpful people with good attitudes in every department. (I came here because I grew weary of the surly attitudes in the other big store.) I was going to run in and run out to avoid interaction. My original purchase would have been around $13, instead, I spent closer to $90. I'm still shocked, every time I needed assistance someone was there. One young man was stocking the kitchen area and what I was looking for was not there. He physically walked to the sports section because that's where this item was; who knew? He didn't say, "Oh go look on isle _______." Two young ladies were in the women's clothing department and HELPED me find what I was looking for (and more). Whaaaaaaaaat? This is definitely a result of good management. I had been to this store in 2018 years ago, it wasn't like this. So now that I'm weary of the other store, I will be in Target exclusively (I didn't go to the other store for a decade and a half, looks like that's the plan now). I'm not sure that the Target where I live has this kind of team attitude and staffing. Now, I will be looking and comparing. Great job guys! Way to shine in a crisis. read more
