At At 7:30 I walked in to Walmart to order some photos for my daughter for her birthday tomorrow. When she was a baby, I had thought I accidentally clicked on the wrong photo size and instead of paying $7, I accidentally thought I clicked $50 after explaining that it was a long day and apologizing. To the lady at the counter, who was doing nothing except looking at the ceiling, she snapped at me that I should have seen the box on the screen. I explained. I thought I checked it and was very sorry. The lady reluctantly grabbed the receipt, checked the order and said I had not messed up. I apologized and left came back an hour later, asking. The exact same lady if I could.Please get my photos to which she replied.Oh , we closed a half an hour ago , even though it was 2 to 3 hours until the photo center closed , and she had Had been the same worker who had seen my receipt an hour before and chose to say nothing regarding my pickup time nothing about closing Soon and told me to come back in the morning she was rude. She was snappy, had no customer service. Obviously thought that she did not need to be doing her job did not need to be helping the customers and had anywhere else better to be than there. I had the most worst experience. Of customer service I've ever had, in my life please hire people that actually deserve the job and earn it instead of workers that act like the customers are beneath them when they ask the workers to do the job they're being paid for I will never go back there if I have any were Else to go take your money elsewhere read more

I sing my dislike of Walmart high from any rooftop available, and tell anyone who mentions Walmart how horrid it is. I haven't been to one in years, but I recently needed a large amount of Irish Spring soap (like...50 bars, lol), and being new to the area it was easiest to just go to Walmart as I knew they would have it. Happily, though I still don't want to support Walmart, this one is small (I thought they were all super Walmarts at this point, but clearly that is not so), and we were able to go in, find what we needed, and get out within ten minutes. The cashier was nice enough, and with it being so small, we avoided the long lines typically found. The store is older, but if you shop Walmart, I'm sure you'll find what you need. read more

I had been given $10 to buy a Fuggler. When I arrive at our local Walmart in Mcminnville,OR, to buy a Fuggler, I look in ALL the Isles and no Fugglers! When we're about to leave we see a girl looking at some Fugglers and I say there they are! I had quite the conversation with the manager Yvonne yesterday at my local Mcminnville, OR Walmart. I did not get to exchange a hoodie that was the wrong size and I had to deal with Yvonne as well. I found her to be rude, offensive and very difficult to deal with. She talked over me cutting me off and needless to say has terrible listening skills. She was quite aggressive and determined to "right" on every point. Not that she really knew my points because she was too bust talking over me when I tried to speak. I can't possibly conceive how she got (and keeps) her job. I guess it shows how hard it is to hire and keep people these days. I don't know if management reads or even cares about these reviews but trust me when I tell you that she is bring harm to your business. read more

Buy stuff from walmart all the time on line, via bank card. Wife went to town (30 miles each way) bought a large cart full of food went to checkout and found that she had inadvertently left her bank card home. Explained to the store manager and asked if if her husband (me) could just call in the numbers off the card to the clerk and pay for it that way. They refused to do it that way. WHY? They have no problem taking the bank card on line. Shelves are always out of items and their prices are too high anyway. read more

I came here on 2/1/19 for some stuff I needed. I wouldn't call this walmart a supercenter compaired to other walmarts I've been in. Its a smaller store with not a full grocery in it. They need to open more regesters. When I was here the store was packed with shoppers but not very many regesters open. I did find everything I was looking for while shopping here. I would shop here again in the future. read more

I came here with my mother in law. We had gone berry picking and needed some supplies for freezing them. In McMinnville there isn't any other place to go so it was unavoidable. As far as Walmarts go this one is pretty gross. The place is tiny. Overcrowded with product but yet doesn't have very much. There is no room for expansion of this store into a bigger one because of the location. But this Walmart could benefit from a makeover inside. We were here for less than 10 minutes. read more

Sadly one employee that I asked to help with a dressing room- just said, "I don't know." I asked him who would know. He stated again, "I don't know." Finally another employee came to the rescue. While in line though, a cashier took the person behind me. Aren't you supposed to take the next customer in line? I won't be shopping there anytime soon. read more

The employees of this store are indifferent about anything and not eager to assist in any way. Not really knowledgeable on products they sell as well as where they're located in the store. Walmart is supposed to be known for product placement and cheap prices yet no One knows what's actually happening in their department. The most annoying part is when you're finally leaving the store and they have an employee standing next to the exit, which is normal for some stores but they've recently begun this process and aren't thorough about it at all. They select 'certain' shoppers to "check their receipt" for whatever purpose they need to. Only reason why this is annoying is because they don't check everyone's receipts and particularly when I go I only pick up a few items and don't always keep my receipt for stuff I'm never planning on returning (ie make up wipes or food items) and they ask for my receipt when I 1) didn't take it with me for the self service machine or recycled it or 2) don't get a bag and am carrying everything in my hands. This then forces me to put all of my items on the floor to dig through my purse or wallet or to get another existing receipt to show proof of purchase when that's technically what the security alarms are for whilst people with carts full of items walk past without getting checked at all. What part of checking my receipt for two items and not a cart full of (possible) stolen goods makes sense? It doesn't. Just need to find jobs for people through the holiday slow hours. Won't be shopping here again. read more

I try hard to compare like things -- fast food to other fast food, coffee kiosks and drive-ups to other coffee places. So Walmarts to other discount stores and one-stop kinds of places. In that context, this is a 2-star Walmart. Mostly because of their incredibly limited selection. I went in looking for a couple of very specific things -- which their online guide said they would have -- and nothing. With each item I needed, they would have the right brand, but the wrong specific product. Or the right product, but wrong brand. Again and again. I think this may be the smallest and most limited Walmart I've ever been in, which is a little surprising since McMinnville is a pretty good sized town. And can I just say -- not one smile from anyone working there. From stockers to checkers -- nothing but frowns, huffs, and groans. read more

Why are there so many haters out there? Wal-Mart is what the free market is all about. I can only conclude that those lobbying in the arena of public opinion against Wal-Mart are solidly against the free market. But I wont get into a one-sided debate on sweat-shops and oiling the machinery of corporate America with the blood of the Wal-Mart worker. What I will say is that people are rude. And somehow they seem to get ruder when they are shopping at Wal-Mart during Christmas time. This isn't technically Wal-Mart's fault, but they could do a few simple things to ameliorate the problem. #1: Stop putting impulse-buy items right at the entrance way of the store. Nothing is more irritating than knowing what you're shopping for, knowing where you're going, aiming yourself at the front doors on a mission to get where you're going, and immediately being blocked before you can walk through the second sliding door because there is a bottleneck of people stopping and looking at crap they could find in aisle 23B if they really wanted it. #2: As a corollary to #1, the idea of a greeter is nice, but it seems that one of the requirements to become a greeter is that they were born somewhere around the Harding administration. Couple this with the fact that they are also expected to serve a useful function of queuing up carts for people. Congeniality and speed is a difficult mix to pull off, (insert a pithy Sandra Bullock joke here), so what we have here is a second reason there are bottlenecks in the entryways. #3: More bottlenecking in the main aisle ways. Every three feet there are displays with everything from $1 DVDs to $250 trampolines. This means that instead of having nice wide areas in which to navigate on your way to the specific aisle you are looking for, now the whole store is laid out in a one cart-width aisle. Do people know how to be polite and move aside if someone wants by? No, you ninny! Of course not! What were you thinking? Also, people with carts jammed to the gills should not use the self-checkout lines. So while this is mainly an indictment on human nature, it is partially Wal-Mart's fault for configuring their stores into a rat maze so convoluted and seemingly intentional that I would not be surprised if entire government agencies existed just to sit and watch us elbow our way through Wal-Marts, and then implement policy based on their findings. Why four stars then? If I bought the same items over at Fred Meyer, or Bi-Mart, or wherever, I would pay more. It's about the money, folks. That's why you can hate Wal-Mart, call for boycotts, sneer at their hiring policies, and decry their suppliers, but people will still come in droves to work there and shop there. The lady working in the electronic department (can't remember her name) was very rude. I asked if they had Google pixel 5 cases and she snaps and says no. So my next question I tried to ask where her aux cords were and before I could even finish my sentence, she instantly snaps again and says no. I've learned from now on to stick to myself and not ask for help at this location. read more

Calling this a supercenter is like calling McDonald's locally fresh gourmet food. It's small, the selections are very limited, and the layout is unlike any Walmart I've ever been to. The food department is in the dead center of the store and is extremely tiny. Recently my husband bought a light jacket from here and it reeked of cigarette smoke when neither of us smokes, so we returned it. Overall I do my best to avoid ever needing to go here bc it's awful. read more

After going to the Walmart in Sherwood I realized how AWFUL the friendly service is lacking in Mac. The employees at Mac make you feel like you are bothering them. Of course there are some good employees at Mac but not very many. Oh and I probably could tell you some of their personal stories. Not hard to hear two isles away! While I recognize the balance a business needs to make when deciding whether to expand or not, I find this Walmart to be overly crowded with products and not enough space for customers. The employees are only so-so, but I have one major complaint about an individual employee who is always parked in the very first handicapped spot. She drives a red SUV and is parked there nearly every time I am there, even though she has a job that requires standing and walking around all day. I have needed to ask her for help and she (along with many of the workers), are typically less than helpful. The workers in the photo department need more training and attention to detail- after all, they are handling precious memories (photos). I have been to various Walmarts within reasonable driving distance that I feel are worth the drive. You can tell they are far better managed than the McMinnville Walmart. Perhaps this will change when there is more competition, which is bound to happen in a town like McMinnvile, which is growing so rapidly. read more

This is for the McMinnville Walmart ( in case that's not clear) First of all, I understand that it's the time of year. But I was very disappointed with the photo counter. Moving it to the electronics department was a mistake, you are crammed in the aisle behind a giant shelf, with people trying to squeeze by you. Next, there's only 1 person available to "help" you. Then they lost my order twice, after I received two emails reminding me that my order was ready when it wasn't and hadn't even been started because the printer broke down. Like I said, I understood with the time of year, but it would have been nice to know before driving there to get my order on two separate occasions. Needless to say, I will be buying Christmas cards/ photo prints elsewhere from now on. read more

An older 90s store recently remodeled with their latest signage and look. while this is not a supercenter they do have a small handfull of food items to choose from. Other then that its just the same as any walmart. They have a subway in store along with an optical and a pharmacy. I live in Hillsboro, and been waiting for the Cornelius store to open up. September 2010 is when that will happen. Untill then I might be at this location at least one, may be two more times before then. They have good products and decent prices. read more

This particular store does not have a good selection of items. They do not have fresh produce or other groceries aside from milk and a few pre-packaged items. Many of the employees at this location are extremely rude. Also, the quality of products seems very low. I have had to return several defective items that were either missing parts or just did not work properly. Yes, I know it is Walmart. Their products are very cheaply made so they can offer cheap prices. However, the prices are actually not really all that cheap. I can buy more expensive brands at other places for almost the same price as the cheap ones at Walmart. Don't even think about ordering Subway at this Walmart. The lines are always ridiculously long with only one employee helping customers. The bread I received was so hard I could not bite into some of it. I ended up throwing the sandwich away. Last time, there were huge flies swarming around the food and I personally saw an employee handle food, ring people up and take money at the cash register, and then go back to making sandwiches without changing gloves. I walked away at that point and have not been back. Most of the time, I drive close to 30 miles to go to our nearest Target. It is worth my time and gas money to drive to Target where they have better prices, better quality of products, and nicer employees. Our local Walmart does not carry any organic hygiene products (i.e. shampoos, soaps, laundry detergents, etc.) so I have no choice but to go elsewhere for those items. Every single time I have been to this Walmart, there are about 30 people waiting in line with only 2 or 3 cashiers. There is one particular cashier who is extremely rude, so I avoid her line if at all possible. If the employees were nicer and we had a decent selection of products, I might be able to give a better review. read more

Worst. Company. Ever. Let's see, won't take back items with receipt, in original packaging? Less than one month after purchase? Yup. Costco takes back items years later with no receipt. Store dirty? Yup. Poor quality items for sale? Yup. Rude employees? Yup. Can't blame them though, as Wal-Mart treats its employees like disposable minions. I'd rather burn my cash than give any to this company. It's a pretty typical Wal-Mart. Clean and organized. The staff is helpful and somewhat knowledgable. Pharmacy is top notch.

I frequent this Walmart quite often but will not be doing so anymore. I am so sick of the guy who try's to check your receipt as you leave the store. This is not Costco buddy get out of my way I have shit to do. He will literally block you from going out the door or stop you as best he can. I am fed up with it. I also agree with the other reviews in saying that 8 out of 10 employees at this store are horrible. I should not get a deep sigh or snappy remark when I simply ask where something is located or the price on an item. ITS YOUR DAMN JOB SO DO IT OR QUIT! When my 7 year old nephew was looking at some clothes, mind you he was LOOKING not touching or anything. An older employee, who I thought would have conducted herself better, stated in a very snarky way "if you're not going to buy it do not touch it!" She was extremely rude. The sporting goods section was an absolute mess, arrows were all mixed within boxes and the employees working in that section were clueless of what was going on. The price tag of 1 arrow was $2.50 so I thought what a great deal, however when I went to purchase this arrow it said $5 for 1 arrow. I asked the cashier and she stood there and stood at me. Learn to train your employees before you send them into the field. read more

This McMinnville store is the worst!! store inventory is sometimes lack. I have been stopped several times in the past on the way out by the greeter and asked to show my receipt for purchased items. Honestly this makes me so mad, it's like I'm being treated like a thief! I have witnessed this several times in the past too. I have never had this experience at any other retail store I've been in, ever! If only there was a Fred Meyer or Target store in town I'd never step foot in walmart again! read more
