They don't take Apple Pay despite using it there before. . I was told I had to "get out with your hippie crap unless you have real money". lol ok. I was then harassed by 3 employees to get a Walmart Credit card.

Pretty purple lavender plantings as you enter Walmart on Main Street in Norwalk Parking lot.

Breathtaking fields of vibrant purple lavender as you enter the Kingdom gates to the wealthiest family owned superstore on our planet. Has anyone stopped to smell these? Or noticed them? They are stunning! You'd have to travel to a botanical park to see phenomenal Lavendula like these. Lish green landscaping, highlighted with delicate pink or yellow flowers, some glimpses of fine looking well kept young birch trees, all sharply executed by precision edging and extensive mulching. So I got excited and planned a trip to the garden shop for June to recreate on some minute scale what the Walmart family's private landscapers had brilliantly created. The garden department was worse than nada or bad or non existent. What little plants had life left were dying and decaying with foul odor-Omg it was so sad. I went on line and they were advertising fake plants in the garden department. It was not really a user friendly app. You can't really tell what's a fake and what's a real live plant. What's being sold from Walmart and what's not. What the heck Walmart, do better.

How do you run a retail business without any shopping bags? Free paper bags are long gone. Now the blue cloth bags are missing too. WTF?

Store is run down and messy. Service is almost non existent. This is the only Walmart in Norwalk since the Connecticut Ave. store closed.

Very small Walmart, extremely limited grocery selection that extends just a few aisles. Overall not impressed by this store.

The selections in the home and children's departments are really nice. The women's department is decent, but the women's shoes and the entire men's department are lacking. The main reason why I'm rating this location 3 stars is because of their borderline deceptive practices when it comes to their credit cards. I don't blame the workers, because it's clearly store policy. Every single time I go here they ask me if I want to sign up for their "rewards card" or "rewards program". I just say no now and they leave it at that. The first time I asked if it was a rewards card or a credit card. Her response was about how much I would save on this purchase and subsequent purchase, so I bluntly asked if this rewards program requires a credit check. She confirmed that it does. I feel like a lot of people are duped into opening up a credit card here and they're too embarrassed to backtrack. I even know someone who fell for it. Don't be shy to turn them down. There are better credit cards out there. I mean if you want it go ahead, but don't let them push you into it!

She is very particular - cold smoke, some spice but not too much, cold woods, etc. However, she really liked this one shampoo with a baobab fragrance, and the closest thing was Bal d'Afrique by Byredo - to my delight, it was in stock here! We let the customer service woman know what we were looking for, but she insisted we try more things. They did not fit the brief of what my wife likes. We stated multiple times, NO florals, NO heavy sweetness, NO musk & referenced her preferences. The customer service agents we saw didn't seem to understand fragrance, and only how to deal with the typical mall shopper's preferences & trying to upsell us on more expensive perfume. The last woman we saw at the Jones No 9 counter (presumably the manager) was very rude and abrasive. She demanded "what budget are you working with, seriously", almost sounding as if she was yelling at us and just wanted to close a deal. I told her I simply wanted to find something my wife would like, and she said "you have to have a budget". Then she presented us with a woody fragrance that my wife did not like. She then tells us that "there's nothing sweet in the there, only woods", meanwhile there was amber in there and we have studied a lot on different types of fragrances. The customer service agents were incompetent, since they don't actually know what notes we are looking for and overwhelming us with different scents and getting upset that we didn't like them. I know they make a commission, so it felt like they were trying to take their anger out on us for not wanting anything and insinuating that we weren't there to make a purchase. Due to the poor service, I would not want to buy anything from these people in the future and would go to another location.

As a few other reviewers have stated this is clearly a mall for those who are a bit more affluent or who are just looking for something quickly from one specific store I don't see this being a spot where people hang on the regular. I stopped in to visit a couple of different stores and thankfully the mall was pretty slow. I was shocked that there was no public Wi-Fi available, but it was quiet enough for me to take a couple of calls and be out of the way. There were definitely a lot of children in the mall for a mid day weekday and they were very loud so it would be great if there could be some sort of security to remind people that they're in a public space. I definitely don't see myself returning, especially since I don't live in the area.
