When my daughter asked who she needed to call to straighten it out, the pharmacist was very rude and told her she don't need to talk to anyone. I was listening to the phone call when the pharmacist said, " im not going to argue with you about this. Come to find out it was the dr who had put the wrong date on it and yes she needed to talk with the dr to straighten it out. I'm very disappointed in the way some of the pharmacist mainly the oldest female pharmacist, have treated my daughter who is doing all the right things to keep herself sober. She has been sober for 3 years. My daughter is always talked down too at the CVS in Corydon IN. The pharmacist is very rude and very heartless. I will not fill anymore prescriptions at any CVS. If you try to talk to this pharmacist and she knows what the problem is but refuses to take 3 minutes to straighten things out. In that case you won't get your medication at all. I myself have a bachelor's degree in nursing and I can not for the life of me figure out what your pharmacist act like they are better than everyone else. If they want a job, it seems to me that you need customers. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Even spoke with Harmony to pick out the color of chair and went through the delivery process..then 3 weeks later I was told the chair hadn't been approved?! I'd hate for these people to fill meds for me..the owner said Harmony will reach out to me ...I made it very clear Harmony was the reason this was happening along with Jenna. Then he states make sure the Medicaid waiver has approved AFTER my statement says ...??!! The approval letter is dated 8/13/25 this is one day from Oct. I really enjoy using Mathes Pharmacy and am grateful for their friendly and on-time service…read more The great services they provide are: *they will call you at an appointed time each month to automatically refill your medications. *they will deliver partial medication refills when the doctor office doesn't respond quick enough for any remaining medications. *they will deliver by the following day, if not the same day. *they have a store of health related products across the street, while selling such items in their pharmacy store. *I'd say the turn-over rate is relatively low. I've been using Mathes for two years and many of the same employees are still there. A huge plus! *signing for delivered medications is easy and quick. *they're quick to correct any errors, without any inconvenience to the customer. *a couple of times they ran out of a particular medication, which they restocked and delivered within a couple of days. *I think their prices are very competitive, if not better, than their competitors. A couple of times I called to compare prices and Mathes was definitely lower. They also price matched in order to keep my business. I loved that! I HIGHLY recommend Mathes. They're building a new store front. The new store is located in the same location - further back in the large parking lot. It's really nice to see local businesses pour money back into their business through expansion that'll not only help themselves, but benefit the customers as well.

They switched our insurance plan, and Mathes was not listed as one of the pharmacies that we could use. We have a large family and couldn't justify paying the extra expenses to use them. So we were forced to use CVS, since that is the company that purchased my vehicle idea company. She was now an employee of the nations largest pharmacy chain. What we found was that this company was out of medications more than once. One time we had to wait a week and a half for a common medication to be refilled because they were out! 10 days without a medication, when there are numerous other pharmacies in the area owned by the same company. So fortunately CVS sold the company after a year, and we are able to go back to Mathes. As soon as my medications run out, I'll be there. Why go to Mathes? Because it's NOT a big box store pharmacy. You may not be wowed this it's customer service, but they are always friendly and very helpful. They will definitely take care of you. Plus they are local, which is a bonus to me. If you need a prescription delivered, they even have a free delivery service. I highly recommend going here. Skip the big guys. You won't be sorry.

You walk into what's essentially a throwback small town version of a cvs or Walgreens with some souvenir stuff, snacks and Knick knacks. In the very back they have an active and working pharmacy. In the other corner you have a 50s style throwback diner that pumps out burgers, dogs, root beer floats and ice cream cones all with counter top seating and couple table booths. Me and my family along with our friends family was in Bardstown for a mini day trip. Our party of 9 decided to grab a quick bite as we heard good things about this little diner. We placed our order and set on the counter top stools. We sampled the menu pretty good. Got everything. From burgers, chicken sandwiches , grilled cheese, chili cheese dogs, Ice cream floats, milkshakes and ice cream. Now unfortunately, our fun trip was struck short by a family tragedy. Right as my chili cheese dog and root beer float arrived my wife received a phone call informing her that her father passed away. The patrons and workers here (small place so no hiding anything) took notice of what was Happening and before she could get off the phone they was placing our food in to go boxes and cups and some super generous and gracious woman already paid for our bill and told us to get on our way as soon as possible so my wife could be with her mom and brothers. Everyone here was super kind and despite the devastating news it gave us some solace that there still was genuine good and caring people in this world. Because of this even If the food and pricing here was not good (which it was all very good and cheap from what we got to try) I was giving this place a 5 star. I scarfed my chili cheese dog down in like one bite while running out the door. That one bite was very tasty and my wife took two bites of her burger before the call and she said it was very good. We absolutely will come back. And I know it's a long shot (bardstown is a small town with little yelp representation) but if the lady who sprung into action before we could even think about it reads this we truly thank you (I wish I would of been of present mind to get an address or something to send a thank you card). Produce looked pretty good and an employee actually smiled and said hello. It's the best grocery store between Fort Knox and Kroger in Elizabethtown so thumbs up for that! Hopefully it won't get trashy like the other stores around here tend to get.
