When we purchase something they usually ask if we want to use some of that money to pay for it. (Have to use in even $10 amounts.) The lady that checked us out didn't ask and said she never heard of that. Weird though cause I'm sure she checked us out before. She said that she has a Walgreens credit card and it doesn't work that way. Walgreens at home, Pekin , IL we never have had a problem. Here, it only allows only $20 to be taken off so I try to not buy over $29.00...especially since I have over $185.00 banked. Anyway, we tried it twice and even once tried charging over $35. The checker acknowledged that it shows I have over $185 to spend. But still said she's never heard of it taking money off the bill. So I went to pharmacy to see if their checkout computer would do it. Checker was fussy and wouldn't even try. So, I called number on back of Synchrony credit card. NO help there. They told me to call customer service for Walgreens, so I did. So I kept customer service on the phone and went back in so customer service could tell the lady that wouldn't acknowledge it IS suppose to work this way. She still acted unimpressed and not helpful or apologetic or try to do it again to see if she could get it to work‍ So, then lady (customer service) on the phone acknowledged it should work and suggested I try to do the order on the phone to "pick up" to see if it would work that way! REALLY I'm a senior... which I can't get senior discount and use my banked money on senior discount days, which sometimes they don't acknowledge that here either! They also won't allow you to use a coupon and your banked money at the same time. Yet, they say "your points/banked money" is "just like cash." Anyway, it's already been over an hour and it takes so much more time to do...... and a pain in the butt. I think they should have offered to try to order it themselves on my phone for pick up or whatever ... but NO. And it just appeared no one even cared or said sorry it didn't work. Checkout lady still thought she was right that she'd never heard of giving money off. Duh VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Will be canceling my flight Walgreens Synchrony credit card!!!

They have beach items too Drive through for drug pick up I especially like that they will answer the phone!!! My grandson and I went to the counter and ordered our subs not much of a line they had three ppl at the counter making the subs but the guy we got was to say slow might be the biggest understatement of the year. My wife got her groceries went home let the dogs out and came back the an was still making our subs the Iran war is over he's still making the subs the groceries we got from the public where slow sub maker will expire before he makes our subs . This was a Saturday today is a Wednesday and we are still inline for our subs. She also stopped assisting me in order to assist another customer who came to the counter after me. The new self checkout is trash. It often requires assistance, defeating the purpose. A very negative overall experience. Topped off by Maxene saying, "we fixed it," when it was actually her manager. The coupons should be automatic also. Why hide them away in the app. Horrible.

And if all you need are small drinkables, there are a couple of Grab-and-Go refrigerators stocked with small loose water bottles, juice and other stuff. Other than that, Publix's easy to navigate and cashiers are always pleasant. That's all that matters to me!

I came here, looking for a few last-minute birthday gifts for my grandson and was pleasantly surprised to see some of their toys election marked down. Even though they were about to close, the staff wasn't rude to me and didn't treat me disrespectfully although I felt terrible for coming so close to close. I just really had no idea that they closed that early. Nonetheless; the young lady at the cash register, please check my selections with a smile on her face and not an ounce of bad attitude or haste. When I walked into the store I went straight to the cashier because I already knew what I wanted. The first I noticed was her purse that sat in plain sight on the counter. I told her I wanted to load money on to my chime card in which she called her manager over to direct her; which I'm happy she did! After, she loaded my money she told me that I owed her $4 which was the loading fee so, I gave her a $20. Once she put that into the register her phone rang which her cell phone was on counter next to her. She threw my Receipt down and hurried to answer the phone. As I was leaving I just shook my head! As I was driving to work, I realized she never gave me my money back from the $4 fee after giving her a $20 bill. So, I had to turn around and go back to collect my money. By this time, I wasn't happy! I walked in and went straight to her and told her that she never gave me my change ‍ she processed to tell me what someone was in her bed and she had to make sure someone was okay ‍ I don't know and in that moment I truly didn't care! She was so unprofessional, she could have waited until I left to answer her phone, she didn't have to throw my receipt down. So, many things could have been done differently!
